Oce hoped back into his vehicle and drove back to Kiva's house. Once he arrived, he rang the door bell, realizing he han no key.

Kiva rushed to the door, just about tripping over something and opened the door." Ah, Eco, what took so long? I got worried.. there are so ruthless demons around here and I thought you got mixed in with them.

"Just kind of went crazy with your car." said Oce with a smile. "I decided to take a little joyride while I was out. So, how have things been here?"

Kiva sighed and shrugged," quiet until Kanji sensed a werewolf and chased it down, then came back and blew out a wall in one of the rooms up stairs... You scared me, you know. I really had thought somethign bad happened." She closed the door after he was in.

Kanji deicphered the runes and found taht they said an ancient bit of magic that was comprised if thousands of dark and complex spells.It would take atleast a year or more to unlock and understand.

Kanji walked downstairs and stayed in the shadows. He never really did liek sunlight that much of course. He passed by Kiva and some strange man, with........an aura.......an evil aura. The vampire looked at the stranger with a menacing glare. He studied him then grunted and walked off. He went to teh library for a book on complex spells.

Nero sat at the top of the stairs staring at Eco. All the while he spun his high caliber multi purpose pistol around on his finger. Nero moved down the stairs a slight c***k of hardware sounded inside his cloak.
"Where have you been for so long?" Nero asked glaring at the man.
I can't believe Kiva doesn't sense the malevolent presence coming from this man.
Nero stood protectively next to Kiva.

Kanji found a book atleast 300 yers old on spells and walked towards the stairs, eyeing the stranger. as he walked uo teh stairs he greeted Nero and stood at the banister near the top. He didn't like this new man, he was evil, Kanji was sure of it.

Oh, bad choice of words.." she said with a small shiver. "Hey, Eco! You want a drink or something? You can help yourself to anything you want, you know."
