Can someone please please please help me in figuring out if Slavland is National Socialistic or has any NS connections or side projects. The Archives of Metal have shown me that they are not but I wanna double check with you guys.

Lordi... do we consider them metal, or just hard rock? And yes, I have their CD. I found their victory at Eurovision quite hilarious and just couldn't help and bought it. And it actually is kind of fun to listen to wink .

I just don't think there really is any hard rock out there without it being labled screamo or something.

Wow, I always though he was Industrial. I guess I wouldn't really know anything about hard rock though since I listen to mostly BM and Gangsta Rap. xp

Soulfly and Sepultura I have always had them down as nu metal and I looked on their wikipedia pages and they are down as thrash. Now, I know that they certainly ain't thrash but would any of you say there is any thrash mixed in with it all?

Now, I know that they certainly ain't thrash but would any of you say there is any thrash mixed in with it all? Early Sepultura is Thrash Metal, Death/Thrash to be exact (and really good at that), Arise was more straightforward Thrash, and they started going more and more towards Metalcore/Hardcore from there. I'm pretty sure Soulfly are Metalcore, but haven't really listened to them.

I'm a tad bit confused with Kamelot's Classification. after downloading The Black Halo, there sound leans more toward progressive metal, but its a bit border line. I can see where their material is considered symphonic power metal, but they sound on the border
same thing with Control denied. Chuck's progressive style (imo) certainly stands out in The Fragile Art Of Existance, and Steve's bass phrasing can also sound progish, But is it power metal, or progressive?
