The elder lifted Kaleb onto his shoulders once more, making certain he was secure. "Whenever you're ready!" he called to the boy.

It didn't take Kaleb nearly as long to find his balance this time, and soon he smiled across at Demyx. "I-I'm ready," he said, still stuttering but certainly sounding more confident than earlier. He didn't want to get dunked again, so he would have to knock Demyx over first.

Axel waited patiently, grinning up at his timid companion. "You can do it, kid!"

Kaleb wasn't about to let Demyx get away with that grin, so he smiled and leaned over to give Demyx as hard a shove as he dared. Which, sadly, wasn't very hard at all, but hopefully it would be enough to unbalance the musician.
Leaning over like that almost caused Kaleb to lose his own balance, but after a bit of flailing he managed to lift his wings a bit to shift his center of gravity back.
"S-sorry," he said sheepishly to Axel.

Thankfully for Kaleb, Demyx had been too busy trying to taunt Kaleb into the game to bother with steadying himself on the water pillar. The little shove was just enough to knock Demyx from his perch, and with a squeak the sitarist tumbled into the ocean below. With it's summoner down, the water pillar quickly disappeared too.
After a moment, a giggling Demyx resurfaced next to the red-headed Audio.

"It's alright," Axel chuckled, grinning up at the boy.
"Way to go!" he cheered as the boy knocked Demyx from his perch. Holding the youth tightly, he bounced about in celebration, giving the magician a nice little ride.

"Y-you're okay?" Kaleb asked Demyx, sounding slightly concerned even though he knew there was no reason for it.
He squeaked and immediately went back to his clinging as Axel began to dance about. But his momentary fright didn't dampen his mood, it was kind of nice to have a victory even if it was just something small like that. It gave the scrawny healer a bit more courage, and he even ended up giggling a bit as he clung so he wouldn't fall off.

"Of course I'm okay! I love the water!"
Giggling, the sitarist swam a few laps around Axel as the fire-wielder did his victory dance.
"You did good though Kaleb! Wanna keep playing?"

Axel paused in his dance, smiling up at the little mage as he eagerly awaited a response.

Kaleb took the pause as an opportunity to resettle himself and find his balance again, and then smiled down at the other two.
"I-I will, if you guys want to."
He was starting to get pretty tired after all the splashing around and trying to keep his wings up, but he didn't want something like that to spoil the mood. He was having fun, but then again, he would probably continue to have fun until he was too tired to stand on his own.
