They say it will gradually help to control inflation on Gaia. I just have opinions here and there that it will work, and opinions that it will not work. Unfortunately, I haven't taken Macroeconomics on college yet, so I can't really have a solid ground in which to base any personal opinion. sad

hey guys! been a long time? lets see... how many of you forgot I exist... LOL Just kidding just kidding lol (Yeah my sence of humor completely stinks when I am lacking of sleep)
just thought perhaps I should drop in and say hi! I have not been on my computer a lot lately due to my sister being born (yes 17 year age gap) and helping with VBS (Vacation Bible School) and all sorts of fun stuff (well some of it not so much)
so what y'all been up to?

Hey there, Skys. Well, I'm actually worried, and I would like you guys to pray about this. The government that the ignorants of this country chose, His Majesty, president Leonel Fernández Reyna, wants to take all the private drugstores to bankruptcy. And my mom is co-owner of a drugstore since the middle 80's. She will lose her lifetime job thanks to the cold-heartedness and corruption of this government. Nevertheless, it seems he will win next year's elections, because he is using extremely high quantities of money for publicity and advertising, only showing the good parts of his government, but not the bad ones.
Please pray for God to intervene in this situation, and if it's His will, for president Fernández to lose the elections. We cannot continue with a government that is exactly the opposite of what God wants.

I'm all for the tax in the market; it will help the economy drop some, and besides, it's only 2%, I would say they could have even considered 5-7%.

Hey there. Not much actually. On Saturday, Jairo Puello (a Dominican Christian singer) came to our youth group, gave his testimony, and worshipped God with us. On Sunday I went to church as usual. I scored a 43.5/43 in a quiz that six of us took for the pre-membership classes. And well, here I am... waiting to go to college in about four hours. xp

Yeah sorry even if I don't post I'm usually pretty good at least checking the board. First week back at Uni and it's been a bit crazy. Anyway just thought I'd check in and say hi.

Oh don't say that. Nothing lame about being in high school, in fact not being in it is what would be...questionable for your age. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble though.

Thanks everyone for who were praying for me..my surgery went well..for those that dont know I had to have my gall bladder removed. Also next month October 16th I'll be going to be having another surgery for a hernia. So please keep me in your prayers for now..to recover well from this surgery and for the next one coming up.

Talmar_Star_Blood Thanks. And my school is lame. High School in general isn't. We have UNIFORMS for Pete's sake. But that's not really as bad as we make it out to be. How's school for you all? (At least those of you who are in school.) Never had uniforms, sounds fun. School and work are going ok, can't complain. I almost miss high school. Then I remember about not having a job or being able to pick my own class schedule and say "nah, don't miss it." That's good about your surgery, Rose; hope the next one goes well too.

I went to an arts school so I think there would have been bloodshed before uniforms. Personally it doesn't sound that bad, you don't have to worry about what to wear and it sets people on a little bit more of a level playing field socially (not a lot but a bit I would imagine). I miss high school, I had an excuse to be dependent and never had to worry about paying for tuition and books... so expensive. But uni's been fun. I think I'd enjoy being able to pick my own schedual more if the only class time for some of them wasn't 8:30 in the morning...
