Marilene paused for a second, looking at Asherah with large, very confused eyes. She finally rolled them began towing her Captain off. "Well... It's not exactly a BEACH house... It's more of a, well... TREE house that happens to OVERLOOK the beach." Marilene replied. It was a grand stroke of luck that they had managed to find such a large tree so close to the beach. And it wasn't the normal palm tree, it was a large tree with many branches and moss covering most of the branches.

"A...tree-house," he said, staring up the trunk of it. "You are the strangest pirates I have ever met. No offense meant, of course." What an odd sort of tree to have overlooking a beach, he thought, but shrugged it off. If nothing else, these two were... odd.
"Annaye!" Asherah pointed at Marilene with a finger that was straight for about three seconds and then flopped back down with the rest of her arm. "Immasrryahburtedinlykahdidannahwanneredterpolgyz...
"It's not polite to point, dear...

Tangerine paused, staring at Asherah for the briefest of moments before whirling toward her home and beginning to climb up the ladder placed there. "Agreed." She replied simply and somehow managed up the ladder. Her arrival into the house was followed by a quick thud on the wooden floor and her insane giggles. Marilene sighed deeply and waited for Arron to go up with Asherah before she would go into her house. "It's not that we're strange... It's just easier this way. It throws people off. That way they just think we're silly girls and leave us alone." She replied simply, shrugging as if it was something normal. "It was Tangerine's plan really." Marilene sighed heavily at this thought though.

"Indeed," he said, testing the ladder to see how much weight it could hold. "I certainly didn't expect it." The ladder might be able to handle the weight, but he wouldn't be able to carry both himself and his drunken companion. He put down Asherah, who slumped a bit but still could stand. "Climb this ladder."
"Ye're'nttherbosso'me," she mumbled, but climbed the ladder anyway, occasionally swinging from the rungs.

Marilene watched carefully, sighing a bit. She looked over at Arron and smiled. "I'm going to sit on the beach. Tangerine can managed not to kill herself... She'll pass out now anyways. Would you like to come to the beach with me?" She inquired. She paused, her mind ticking suddenly. "Or do you need to watch over her?" She asked strategically awaiting his answer.

"I... um... well..." He looked up at Asherah. "Can you handle this on your own?" She was swinging from the ladder in a very monkey-like fashion. "Good." And joined Marilene on the beach.

Marilene giggled softly, hearing random things falling in their home before it got quiet. She smiled with a sigh. Her job was complete. She was suddenly free of her duty as her Captain had released her for the rest of the night. She sat down, far enough away so that the ocean would not catch her unawares. So she sat and spread out her skirts, knocking her shoes together for the soft sound as she streched out on the sand. "You may sit next to me if you'd like." Marilene said, patting the sand next to her with a smile.

A smile tugged at the corners of Arron's mouth and he joined her down on the ground. "I'd love to."
Silence bugged him. Between the constant sound of people yelling on the ship and Asherah never quite knowing when to shut her yap, he'd gotten used to noise. So he was not comfortable just sitting on the beach in silence.
"So... you live in a tree..." I've already asked that question, haven't I?

Marilene giggled, ignoring the fact that he had already asked that. It was a very interesting thing. Most pirates lived on the sea in a big fancy pirate ship, but she had her strange Captain made residence next to the sea in a large wooden tree house like children. It was a little embarassing, but she had spent long hours decorating the inside and attempting to decorate the outside, so she felt it wasn't so pitiful after all.
"Yes. It's a tree house. But... It's only because Tangerine can't find a ship. It's very hard to acquire a ship. A good ship too. Not just some run down thing you looted off the drunken captain." Marilene rolled her eyes. They had done that... Barely made it out of port before the thing fell to pieces, literally, leaving the two to swim their way back to port on floating pieces of wood. "How did your Captain get his ship? Marilene asked, looking at Arron, her eyebrows scrunched in wanted knowledge.

Arron rubbed absently at an eye. "I suppose the same way most captains get their ships: he stole it. Of course, it wasn't in horribly good shape to begin with. And he wasn't terribly clever, he just took the one that was easiest to steal. Our Captain... well... he knew he wasn't very bright and tried not to overwork his brain coming up with schemes."
He laid back on the sand and looked up at the stars. Some people can tell where they are in the world by looking at the stars. He'd always wanted to be one of those people, but its really not something you learn from a book and certainly not something you learn when you don't know where you are to begin with. He'd learned a bit, though. Just not enough to be of any use.

Marilene chuckled a bit, turning to look at at Arron. Her eyes twinkled in the stars. "Tangerine always comes up with the most random and off the wall schemes." She began giggling, pointing to the large oak tree covered with spanish moss that held their home. "We got that house, because (giggle), because she knew this carpenter would do anything for his son! So she conned the son into asking his father to build the largest tree house by gambling with a drunken baker! Tangerine obviously won and had the chef make the most elaborate cakes and cookies for the boy in return for a home!!" Marilene giggled again, barely containing the laughter without bursting. It was truly... Strange. Her Captain was never one for doing things half-way, it was always over-the-top.

Arron blinked absently and looked at Marilene. "Really? She doesn't seem the type to let free baked goods go to someone else. That was really... nice of her." He supposed that he ought to think of the good in everyone and that he had only known the two girls for less than a day. But both Tangerine and Asherah were surprisingly alike... and he still had yet to find the good in her.

Marilene shrugged, Tangerine had always been like that she supposed. When she wanted something, the other small things she wanted seemed to take a back seat. "She's always done things like that... What about your captain?" She asked. Weren't most captains like that? Truthfully, Marilene was a very naieve girl. She bumbled around, trying her hardest to see the good in everyone.

As they appeared, Jordiar felt himself almost fall over, but straightened, blinking. He looked over at Hotari, staring. "Th...That's an amazing power," he said, in a sort of awe, never having really experienced something like that.

With a sigh of relief, Hotari giggled and pulled the boy into a hug, deeply glad that he wasn't made overly nauseas by the transition, or affected by any other of the possibilities resulting from a teleportation...Most estatic to find that his insides weren't on his outside. Blushing faintly as she released Jordi, Hotari bit her lip and shifted a step back, indoing so casting an illusion to make it seem as though her dress fell from her form like a fold of sheer fabric, leaving her in a crimson colored halter tankini, her pale skin almost glowing under the light from the glitterpowder she tends to sport. Race to the water? she giggled, shifting her weight to ready herself for a sprint though she waited for jordiar's answer.
