London, and I hate to say it... the stereotypes about food there are true. Though... they do have good biscuits (i.e. cookies). Next time I go over there I'm going to stock up on Jammie Dodgers. heart

That is pretty cool. I have always wanted to go on a foreign exchange, but the whole not being able to pick out where you go while in high school thing kept me away from it. Of course now that I am graduated I want to spend some time in Scotland during my sophomore or junior year of college.
Besides the food, how was it?

Um... its nice. Expensive but nice. I really enjoyed my time up in Manchester, which is closer to Scotland. If you go over there be careful about the program CAPA. That's the program my school used and they weren't that great. Seriously... dropping a jet-lagged girl alone in Zone-3 Ealing with a bus pass and vague instructions on how to get to their "office" (aka building with a tiny sign next to other similar buildings) in Inner London was not the smartest move. The only reason I didn't completely break-down (and I did start crying when I got lost at Earl's Court) was because I ran into another student trying to find the place and we wandered around lost together. Its comforting being lost with someone else and walking around a Sainsbury Parking lot, especially when you have distinictive foreign accents, you feel safer. Fortunately someone found us but we were not pleased... and the program just went downhill from there.
P.S. I stuck the things I learned in London List in Random Chatter. Its useful if you're going to Scotland...if it proves to be too random you can delete it.

Going to put bio weapons in the box. Sounds better than human cargo in a box that would only hold about one person, or ten babies.

OH NO! WE ARE ALL GONNA DIE!... Very dramatic.
I think I am going to come up with a new poll just for the hell of it. Don't worry this won't be so serious, or serious at all.

Ed, that's a no brainer! Kelly drinks the most! Then Iris, then Chris, Parker, and from what I remember the others have yet to touch the bottle.

Low blow, Orange, low blow. But I would put Chris above Iris. She is hitting the bottle pretty hard right now. You must have had the whole thing that I left with you, and if not all of it, then most of it. whee

No way! You had to have drunk most of it before you left it with me! Iris goes before me!
