Chath watched as Ligeia moved around before his eyes landed on Keir. He gave the dragon a bit of a half smile as if to show that he wasn't eralyl that angry anymore. Though he would have to have a long talk with the dragon when they got home.
"Eh....well i brought dessert mainly.." he said with a rub of the back of his head. "What did you bring? I will eat just about anything I am starved."

"Lets see... there are different types of sandwiches, salad with a couple types of dressing since I wasn't sure what kind you like, chips, and then to drink water though we used a lot of that and juice." He said, pointing to each thing as he spoke.
When he was done listing things he looked up at Chath, hoping he would show what he had brought. Ligeia was a fan of sweet things so he would have to make sure he got some dessert.

Chath had to look over at his cooler as well force himself to remember all the stuff he cramed in it.
"Uh, i brought ice tea, pop, juice to drink...then there are ecliars, freezes, chocolate chip cookies homemade thanks to my mother. A small cake also thanks to my mother.." he wasn't sure on what the cake was, since it was covered in icing and his mother hadn't been home to tell him what it was.
With a laugh he leaned forward, "There may be other things, I can't recal everything I put in there."

Ligeia gave a happy sound, "I'm tempted to just make lunch out of what is in your cooler." He said and was only half joking about it, so many good things were in there! He probably should eat some real food though shouldn't he? He stilled scooted closer to peek into the cooler that Chath brought, snagging a few of the cookies and put them on a plate before eating one.
"Mmm. These are yummy!" He said, happily wings giving a flutter.

Chath gave a chuckle before snagging a cookie off Legiea's plate teasingly. He then took a bite and nodded his head in agreement. "Thank my mom for those." He said inbetween mouthfuls. He soon finished the cookie off quickly. He smiled, the date was going wel, he was glad they had bothered to try it out.
He had been worried for a bit, that it wouldn't work and that things would get awkward towards them.

Ligeia was half tempted to pounce on Chath for the theft of the treat but then decided against it, he didn't want to make his date choke. He instead set to gathering other items onto his plate, "I will be sure to the next time I see her." He said, smiling then set to digging into his food. He had worked up an apetite today with all that had gone on and the food was just what he needed to boost his energy levels.
The treats were just because they tasted good.

He wasn't sure why he was compelled to snag another piece of food off Geia's plate but after snatching another bite he chewed and then smiled at his date. He then reached into the cooler and pulled out a juice box, he punch a hole through the top with the straw before he started to sip on it.
"I am glad we did this today.." he sighed contentedly.

Ligeia nodded, "I am too. Its been fun though... well not you getting hurt but the rest of it." He said, flushing a bit when he realized that he hadn't really thought on that before he said it. He looked up at Chath and gave him a smile, "Glad that we had this chance." That things had gotten cleared up between the two of them despite everything that could have endangered their friendship.

Chath nodded his head in agreement. It was nice that things had worked out for the best. He really didn't want things to come between them. SO what was gender? It didn't really matter did it? He didn't think so...guys could like guys right?
Soon he finished his drink and then rummaged around for more to eat. Picking out an eclair and biting into it. It was a bit cold for his teeth, so he chewed slowly, and then dipping a finger into the cream he poked Geia in the cheek smearing it on him.
"hehehehe." he laughed

Ligeia gave a squeak, not because the cold bothered him but because it was just... surprising. He blinked a couple times before he stuck his tongue out at Chath, lifting a hand to scrape the eclair middle from his cheek then withouth really thinking on it lick it off, "Thank you." He said, laughing, "Though not exactly how I planned to sample them."
The owl boy looked for a moment to be busying himself as he reached into one of the coolers. He seemed innocent enough but retaliation came in the form of him poking Chath on the nose, finger covered with the frosting he'd stolen off the cake, "There we go, even." He told the newt grinning some.

Chath hadn't expected Geia to retaliate on him, he giggeled manly(?) as he went to wipe the cream off with his finger.
"Heeeeey..." he started and then leaned forward some his hand reaching out to grab hold of Ligeia's shoulder to bring him closer. "Misses some." he said as he bodly went and kissed Ligeia where he had put the cream on his cheek. His face flushing as he pulled away, still not really believing he just did that.

Ligeia gave a little squeak then flushed some at the unexpected though pleasent kiss. He gave the newt boy a smile then murmured,"Thank you for the help." He said, referring to Chath and his helpfully getting the rest of the eclair filling.
He rather liked that Chath had kissed him again and this time he hadn't seemed as nervous over the idea, didn't tackle him either. He gave a flutter of his wings to fan himself.

Chath flushed with a mixture of excitement and nervousness. He still couldn't believe he had just done what he did, but the fact Ligeia seemed to not mind was also a bonus. He wondered breifly if his heart rate would slow down. It felt like it was beating much too fast for its own good. He smiled at Geia's comment before biting into the Elcair. Getting cream on his mouth as well face . Stupid things were hard to eat they were.

Ligeia gave a bright smile to Chath before he went back to eating his lunch, "I look forward to our next date." He told the newt boy with a nod of his head, "You know why? Because its going to be our first REAL date. This one was after all our trial date so I don't think that it counts." He gave a flutter of his wings then seemed to be lost in thought, plotting and planning on the up and coming trip to the cafe. Ligeia no doubt would have made a really good girl...
The rest of their time was, compared to the first part of the outing, uneventful. Food, fun, and friends, ending with Ligeia who was quite tired form all of the days events curled up on his side dozing and using Chath and a comfortable and self heating pillow.

Chath had as well been happy with the outcome of their trail date, and very much look forward to the first real date. He was surprised though when Geia had finished eating him laying down and using his lap as a pillow. He at first was going to protest stating that it wouldn't be very comfertable but feeling Geia's weight on his legs made him stop.
It felt nice, being a pillow. Tentavily he reached and ran the tips of his fingers through the owl boys hair. Yes he could certianly see himself getting rather attatched to the guy.
