loneguardian Yeah I will listen to anything except country. I just can't stand to listen to it when its so overplayed. I enjoy country, but more of the older type like Bob Wills or Jonny Horton. I haven't kept up with it much Christian-wise, though.

TheJet20 Switchfoot, DC Talk, Audio Adrenaline, Newsboys, Steven Curtis Chapman, Michael White, Chris Rice, Sonicflood... and so on and so on... Good choices. Also, If anyone's looking for an alternative for any type of rock--check out the apoligetix. They put Christian lyrics to songs and won this big court ruling to make it legal. biggrin

i love all kinds of music, but i have all of switchfoot's cds and i listen to them when i wake up and when i go to bed, so i would say switchfoot

Most of these names have probally already been mentioned but yeah I like Switchfoot, KJ-52, Third Day, TobyMac, TFK (Thousand Foot Krunch), Flyleaf, and lots lots more..LoL..Well Buh Bye

I like the band switchfoot, because they sing about Jesus. And its cool how they do it in rock, because i like rock. I dont like greenday like i used ever scense they made up the song Bullet Through The Bible...Thats mean... scream makes me angry! so yah... well peace out-

i hate to be rude but no band is a christian band.. they njsut put that word in there to make it sound better but it's still wrong... the onlly accpetable "christian" music is church or classical...not rap,rock,hiphop,jazz,country or whatever-it's all wrong

My favorite singers/bands are: Newsong, Newsboys, Third Day, Matthew West, and Rebecca St. James.
I don't really hear christian teen music, like they play on Zjam. Have anyone heard of Zjam?
I also like the music on Zjam.

Somokeon I've got a bunch of favorite bands: *Switchfoot *Superchic[k] *Barlowgirl *tobyMac and *Relient K Is Switchfoot a Christian band? Didn't know... I like Relient K, Toby Mac, Jars of Clay, and most of all Third Day, they are the best! Third Day's music is a mix between country and rock. It is alot more enjoyable then you think, I promise. It's just that the lead singer has a country singing accent and the music is rock.
