((Sorry I haven't been posting...I've been kinda stuck on what to do next. Aida needs to find herself a job.))
Aida slowed to a stop as she approached the front of a small restaurant. She parked her motorcycle outside one of the windows where she would be able to keep an eye on it, and walked through the door of the building. A few costumers already eating stopped and eyed her suspiciously. Her sword and gun were kept out of sight underneath her coat, but her attire alone was enough to make people stop and look for a moment. It wasn't surprising for people to be carrying around weapons for self-defense with vampires nearby, but Aida was one of those people who one would normally stay away from, and she looked the part well. She didn't care though, in fact she would rather have it that way.
As she approached the counter, a young woman greeted her with a smile and asked, "May I help you?"
The girl was way too bubbly for Aida's taste. Why she would seem so cheerful during these times was far beyond her, but whatever. "I'll have a meatball sub, a small bottle of Coke, and a bag of plain potato chips."
The woman punched Aida's order into the cash register. "The total comes to two credits please." She held out her hand as Aida pulled her credit card from her pants pocket and handed the lady the card. She swiped the card into a small credit card machine, which printed out a receipt. The cashier then handed Aida back her card and the receipt. She pulled a 20 ounce bottle of Coca-cola from a refrigerator, a small bag of Lay's Original Potato Chips from a rack and placed them on the counter. "Your sandwich will be out momentarily."
Aida took her soda and chips and stepped aside, looking at the receipt. There were 1800 credits left on that card. She needed to find a way to make more money. A little while later the same bubbly girl handed Aida her sandwich on a tray. "Enjoy!" She then bustled off to take care of another costumer who had just arrived. Aida carried her food to an empty table by a window and sat down.
She needed to find a job. After her meal, she would have to search one, and not by some refugees who had barely any money to pay her either. Perhaps she could find somebody wealthy, or of some importance. Then she might be able to make a lot of money off of just one job, though she doubted that would happen. She was bound to find a job somewhere though. If worse came to worse, she would have to go back to helping the defenseless civilians on the run from vampires. Not something she wanted to do, but she would if she had to.

Well the Vampires changed all of the worlds currency to the Credit, if used in todays currencies, about 2 British pounds, or 4 American dollars... just so ya know, if you weren't useing dollars, then ok, but now everyone will know hte currency of the world now LOL)

(basically.... They didn't want to feel 'oppressed' by old human systems... even though they are using those same systems to keep humans in check... also, they are on little credit cards. each can hold up to 5000 credits.)

(uh-huh. A Portion Credit is like a quarter. so 4 of them make a credit. a very simple system, but very powerful at teh same time and if you haven't noticed my edit, their on credit cards that can hold up to 5000 credits each. and then you have your Portional Credits, which are also on credit cards, but can hold up to 20000 credits worth in them, each puts them equal to a full credit unit..)

The Lady never moved her eyes from the Elemental; clearly, he insult had hit home as hoped...and apparently, this Elemental was much much younger then she'd previously thought. The powerful magic she wielded so talently was to much for her under extremely stressful or provoking situations...this meant the magic had far more control over her then she did of it. She was dangerous. Her body language, the increased sweating, the muscle twitches, the hissing in her voice that gave an other worldly echo in the small craft...she was trying bitterly and stubbornly to remain in control. Hmph...Void magic...she hated that element with a passion, it was far to unpredictable and the only people she had ever seen wield it were either insane or became maddingly insane once they lost all control over how much of the power they channeled though their bodies. She frowned...she didn't like this one bit.
She remained still as death, not showing intimidation however inside she was uncomfortable in the presence of unpredictable and apparently not 100% harnessed magic. She had heard Dion's warning, and agreed it best not to throw up a full scale magic battle so high off the ground in uncertain territory. She was suprised that Dion hadn't mentioned anything about her explaination of his new role and title...most humans would have either been (in the old days) honored or horrified at the thought of being something close to a magically contracted slave. At least...that's how some humans took it.
"Agreed." She said more to Dion, though she never took her eyes from the Elemental, "You are not master of your channels to the Void magic...I suppose this is because of your lack of this 'One Being' you speak of. I know not who this person is, male or female, and since you cannot die until you've bowed before him or her, it would be pointless to waste magic on you with the possibility of falling to the earth below us." With that she shrugged and closed her eyes, green eyes hidden in thought behind shut eyelids.
"...Apology accepted as well as another issued, so let us not quarell under these circumstance. After all, if we do survive the fall, and I'm recognized by any poor living sap below...heh, I'm as good as caught. There's a rather large price on my head that seems to have shifted from Europe to this country." She said opening her eyes and grinning humorlessly, "My connection to the VCF head quarters in Germany have warned me to the now international wanted status I'm under and the now doubled 1,000,000,000 credit price on my head. Lovely, no?" She said with a content sigh...she looked relaxed, but she was quite aggitated.
Since coming to this country her first assasination plot had been thwarted, she'd been killed nearly twice, discovered by the VCF, formed a shaky alliance with a human resistance group, gainned a Pomme de Sang, and become and international fugitive. Hmph...her exciting 2000 year life seemed to have gotten a fresh boost of caffiene in the past week.
She gave an exhasperated groan and rubbed her temples with her thumb and index finger as she leaned forward to look at the floor with her other hand hanging over her knee, "Wunderbar. Jetzt bin ich zu menschlichem Kontakt noch einmal gebunden..." She muttered in a low voice to herself more so then the others, "Lassen Sie uns dies hoffen herum beendet besser dann das zuletzt."
[[German Translation: -"Wonderful, now I am bound to human contact once again." -"Let us hope this round ends better then the last." ]]

Dion didn't sigh just yet, unsure of where the elemental stood, and wondered at what Kelbora was talking about. True, he was worried that the Elemental would start throwing magic around, which in turn would shred the ORCA, not to mention everyone on board. Dion walked towards one of hte few windows in the hull, and looked out to see the landing zone lights were blinking below them. But that was all Dion could see. Seems a dust storm had picked up, and the ORCA was just adding to it. Everything in the base was being grated by the sand, and Dion replaced his head wear, in order to best enable him to breath and see in the storm. "Dust storm has kicked up. It's covering the whole base, so I'll have to lead you to the Command Center!" Dion yelled as the hatch opened and the engines once again could be heard roaring outside, but also let some of hte sand to get blown in with the wind howling at a slightly lower tone then hte engines. Dion picked up a rope, and tied it around his waist and held the loose end towards the two women. "This will help us keep from getting lost! And don't start telling me you can cast a spell that'll help clear some of the dirt up! One of the few bits of magic we do have is a dampening field!" Dion yelled, pointing as he explained. He wasn't joking about hte field, and if the two of them paid any attention to their magical abilities, that were not part of them, it was in fact very weak, but still there. The field worked, but it wasn't perfect. In fact, the mages in charge of monitoring the field had to begin reinforcing it because of the Elementals massive magical strength. "What the HELL did you just bring into the base Dion!?!? The Field's going nuts! It's holding, but even with every last one of us it's just!" One of the mages yelled into his headset comm unit, struggling with the 20 other mages to keep hte field working. Dion sighed, not relizing just how powerful this Elemental was.

The Elemental grabbed the end of the robe. Such... Crude measures... Her golden eyes stared through the dust at Dion, crystalized honeys squinting through the sand. The Void had calmed back to it's dormant state, a sleeping giant in the heart of her being. It's not as if she could shut herself off from it, it's part of her being. When awakened, it was out of control, and not one person in history had been able to fully master the void, and she was one of the closest to doing so.
"It's not as if i'm trying to do this! I can't cut it off! It's in my blood! No one can control the Void! Spirit I can handle with ease! Void is pure power, roiling with strength! Though i'm Ancient I still haven't mastered the magic!" Her voice shouted over the din, it's voice backed by power, making it easier to hear.

Though Kelbora was more of a combative and physical fighter rather then a magical one, she frowned at the idea of being cut off from one of the greatest ascets she posessed. Magic was what set her apart from other Vampires in this day and age, it gave her incredible strength and power...she didn't rely on it much, but she always took comfort in the thought that it was their, waiting for her command. In her magic, she was the master, she had absolute and complete control. Her magic was tammed and no longer wild in her as of three centuries ago, and though if she ever lost the strength to remain in control...there was always the possibility the magic would release without warning, there had never been an occurance of that happening. So long as she was sound of mind, she was safe.
She heard the Elemental's words and her mood did not improve. Field or not...they would always be in danger with her around no matter how small the chance it would always be there. But alas, life would never be simple for anyone especially her.
"So long as you don't suck me or my Pomme de Sang into your Void on purpose or on accident, then we won't have any further reason to argue." Kelbora called out, not liking the crude approach to the rope either, "Primative...so primative." She muttered and walked on through the sands behind the two.
Her hair whipped unmercilessly around in the wind; wild strands of gold amist the storm of flying quarts and sandstone. She didn't seem to mind, or if she did she didn't show it. She wore only her one glove and armored tank top, so the harsh sand slammed into her exposed skin, but she never flinched. Her black boots found no traction in the ever shifting terrain, but she didn't complain. In fact, having that Vampire grace, she still seemed to glide over the ground. But she did hope it wouldn't be much further.
Her green eyes looking ahead, there was the faint outline of something standing up against the wind...and lights...and figures coming towards them. She unholstered a 9mm, enjoying the familar weight in her hand and the security it promised, just in case these weren't friends.
"Dion, tell them to identify themselves or we'll let their blood do the talking." Kelbora called out, gun at her side as they moved closer.

Dion sighed though his mask, and waved to the people running up. "I swear Dion, you are one of the most crazed of us! Hurry up nad get into the CRC, Bartz wants you and the Lady ASAP!" One of the Wastelanders yelled though teh storm. Dion only smiled, though it couldn't be seen though his mask or the wind-blown sand. Dion led them into the Command Center, and shook the dirt off of him, seeming to have dissappeared under all of it. Once it was mostly off, he undid teh rope on him, and again removed his headwear. "Well Ladies, welcome to the Command Center of Purity Wasteland, currently the global command post for all the wastelanders of the World. It's not very flashy, hell in some places, teh guts are visable, but it works. Now, follow me Lady, I'll take you to the CRC, short for Combat Report Chamber... not a good name, but it works." Dion stated after both women had gotten the dust off of them and removed their rope guidelines.

The Elemental "harumph'd" once they had gotten inside the command center, dusting herself off and letting go of the line. "One, even in the slightest rarity that you would get trapped within the Void, it would not be me doing it, for even I have enough to control sending something into the Void. And if someone did send you to the Void, i'd get you out myself if it meant going in. It wouldn't be the first time i've gone there. I can traverse t like the back of my hand. Two, i've already told you I would not touch your Pomme de Sang if he was the last enemy on Earth." She was feeling particularily grumpy, after having to fight the Void and walking through the sandstorm, with the magic field dampening her non-natural powers.

"Tch, that's comforting." Kelbora muttered under her breath as she ran her hands through her hair and shuck out the excess sand and dust. She'd heard of men losing their minds by spending even a second in the Void...and she was not up to trying her hand at it with her sanity at stake. "Let's keep moving, I want to meet this Bartz in person."
She was exposing more skin then she would have liked too, even with a more human appearence she was still very pale and fair skinned. As a human, she'd always been bothered by her inability to tan...not that it really mattered in this new world where the sun was only seen in certain areas through the massive black clouds that eternally hung in the sky to give Vampires the ability to master day and night. She did smirk at one thought: would Bartz recognize her in a human state?
She was still amazed at the power Dion's blood had, it was quite astounding. Hmm...in fact, it was so astounding that it might just come in handy when she planned to infultrate her next target's abode. They now knew that The Lady was a Vampire...so that's what they'd be looking for...
As they followed Dion and the other Wastelanders, Kelbora glanced to both sides to see the human mouths agap and watching them with shocked expressions. It was no suprise, even while she and the Elemental looked human they still gave off otherworldly auras...it would make any human's hair stand on end.
Finally they came to a large set of heavy armored doors with the large engraving of "CRC" above the door. She guessed this was it.
"Well then...does someone announce us, or do we just barge in and announce ourselves?"
