Burning Disaster I dont think it would work. Because if you had a superstrength friend trying to break it off, when he tried he would lose the strenght and just be pulling uselessly at it.(like drackio an Kothar did) As for the power source of the bracelet, I doubt that it would be battery operated... That'd just be silly. My guess is, that it runs off the very power that its stealing from the super. I'll have to say that BD's way works best with the power source...

Check into the Titan's Rest.. That serves as the independant HQ there you can meat the independant self imposed leader Ancwalar. Or you can run around the city doing whatever your character does best...

actually everything has been at a stand still for so long that you can just begin anywhere and anyhow you want to. Throw a rock in the pond and let the ripples rush forth. In fact you could make a psychotic random post inspired by a breakfast burrito alien invasion, and it would be absolutely fantastic.

Well, if you haven't noticed, I'm changing things around a bit. One of the things I'll be changing is the power usage, and saves, etc. I think it's great for a team against team scenario. But it's a bit too complicated for new comers. And also, I'm crashing out instant revitalization, it makes dying no big deal, and it makes things boring. Since we won't be fighting each other most of the time, it shouldn't be as big a deal with arguments, etc.
SO now, you can maim beat, and do all kinds of crap. But you have to get killing permission. Oh, and if someone does die, and they need a lifeline, just PM me and we'll work something out.
