Sasuke smiled and started to eat (whatever it was that he had) hungrily. He hadn't realized how hungry he actually was until now. Part of him was happy for the release of emotion he just gave and the other part worried about what the hokage was going to say when he was found back in Konoha. The feeling he had just shared with Naruto overpowered all of that worry, though.

Naruto continued eating until he finished his squid. He was soon back in the kitchen, starting up hot water, a cup of ramen out and waiting. Peering at Sasuke from where he leaned against the counters, waiting for the water to boil, he grinned. "Oi! If you're still hungry after that, there's some more stuff in the fridge I could make for you!" he said to the other male, noting how hungry he seemed to be.

Sasuke was trying to contain himself from scarfing down the bowl rudly. how long had it been since he had eaten a decent meal? He didn't really have time to stop for food while he was running from Orochimaru. He finished up and took the bowl to Naruto. "Maybe one more bowl," he said, kind of embarassed about his appitite.

Naruto blinked and nodded. While the water was working on it's boil, he took Sasuke's bowl and began rummaging around in the fridge. Using the microwave, he heated up some of the same stuff the Uchiha had picked, earlier. While he waited for the microwave to ding, he leaned his back against the counters again, smiling at the other male. "Tomorrow, we'll let the old lady know you're here. That way, you're a little bit better, and we can come up with a way to let you stay."

Sasuke gave a nod. "Thank you so much for all of this, Naruto-kun." he said, giving a light smile. The blond was always so, dependable; so kind and yet fierce when necessary. He leaned against the other side of the counter, letting himself zone off while looking at Naruto.

Naruto gave off a slight blush, and a soft smile to Sasuke. The microwave beeped, and he quickly moved to pull it out and set it on the counter. When that was done, his water was boiling, so he poured it into his instant ramen cup, setting it aside so the noodles could absorb the water. Moving to finish the Uchiha's food, he gave another meek grin and handed it to the raven-haired male.

Sasuke gratefully took the food, his hand brushing against the blond's for a brief moment. He started to eat it, now able to refrain from scarfing it all down. He leaned on the counter still, waiting for Naruto's food to be ready so that he could.. Sit with him? Or at least try to make some small amount of convorsation with him.

After a little while, Naruto went over and stirred his ramen, giving a grin, as it was finished. Taking a bite using chopsticks, he slurped it up and looked over to Sasuke again. "Do we... want to sit down at the table...?" he asked when he was done chewing, blinking momentarily, before glancing over at said table. There was only one chair, but the blond could stand, or go rummage around his apartment for another one.

Sasuke smiled and nodded to the chair. "You can have it, it's your house. Besides, it would be good for me to stand up for a little bit," he said to the blond, taking a nother bite. He was amused at how quickly the boy could at ramen without getting a stomach ache.

At that, Naruto offered a small shrug, opting to stand with Sasuke, then. He picked up some more ramen with his chopsticks and slurped it down, staring at the floor a little as he did, and occasionally giving a glance to the Uchiha beside him. A slight silence began hanging within the room once again, but that was interrupted when the blond began talking... or tried to the best his ability with ramen in his mouth.
" sho 'ow i' 'uh 'ood?" Naruto murmured, somehow managing to swallow as he did. Soon, he was in a small coughing fit, some ramen seeming to go down wrong.

Sasuke looked confused to the sounds emitted from the blond, though he could identify them and words.. Sort of.. "Naruto, don't talk with your mouth full, I can't understand you." he said, takin a bite of his food. He always thought it was kind of funny how the dobe could talk and eat at the same time without splashing food everywhere. It used to be amusing to watch everyone try to decipher what he'd just said.

Naruto held up a hand for a moment, finishing his small coughing fit, before moving over to get a glass water. Drinking it, he turned back to Sasuke. "Sorry..." he replied a little meekly. "How's the food?" he then asked, taking another drink, then returning over to work on his ramen some more.

"It's great. I've been living off of scraps for a while, so a full meal is good." he said, smiling at NAruto, something he didn't do often. He finished up his fod and placed it in the sink, starting to rinse it off with warm water.

Naruto seemed to be dazed slightly a the smile, and then he moved over to stand beside Sasuke. "Don't worry about that... I'll wash up." he mumbled, leaving his mostly-finished ramen on the counter to eat when he was done. As he took over cleaning up the Uchiha's dishes, however, he seemed a little upset about something again.

Sasuke studied the blond for a moment. He put a hand on his shoulder, "Naruto, what's wrong?" he asked, turning him towards him. He hated it when the dobe looked like that; so sad an upset..
