Lea looked a little disappointed, apparently this wasn't going to be as easy as she had originally hoped. If they were going to meet Sora they were going to have to go out hunting for him and possibly participate in a big battle or something... but she was up for just about anything. "I say we just wing it. That's what Max and I usually do and it seems to work."
Max shrugged, "She's right, we usually have no idea what we're doing or where we're going. We might as well just start looking around for Sora and the King."
Goofy nodded, "That's what Donald and Sora and I do, too."

Soul nodded. He was weighing the pros and cons, but sense everyone seemed to be for it, he kept nodding. "Sounds like a plan." He stopped a moment. "Goofy. It seems like there are Organization Members in the city." He said bluntly. "Lea here was attacked by them," He had gathered this from earlier, "As well as myself when I was exploring the sewers." He said. He hadn't told Max, Lea, or Minnie how he had gotten the most recent wounds and bruises on his features.

Max mumbled something under his breath, "Well, it's his own fault for running around in the sewers... what does he think he is, a teenage mutant ninja turtle?"
Lea was close enough to hear what her friend had said and snickered, "Maybe mutant."
Goofy walked up behind the two kids who were whispering to each other and slapped them both on the back in an affectionate manner, though it almost knocked them both down, "Ayuck, Well, if we're all ready we might as well take the gummy ship! Right Donald?"

Minnie, albeit small, had really big ears that were not exactly for show. Moments after they had said that, they both felt a sharp pain in their ears and nearly collapsed on the ground. "Now, I'm sure I didn't hear either of you talking behind someone's back, did I Max?" She said simply. Soul wasn't paying attention, as he was currently in a conversation with Donald, asking about Sora. Donald went to look around Soul to watch the Going's on, but Soul had already asked him about the last time he saw Sora. The Duck explained to him it was a little while after defeating the original number 1 of XIII.

Okay so...
[Max and Lea whisper]
[super ear grab time]
"OW!" They both complained, falling to their knees. Max, being used to this form of punishment, was the first to apologize, knowing she's let go sooner if he did. "Sorry! Sorry! We were only kidding!"
Following suit, Lea agreed, "We didn't mean it!"
[Minnie lets go]
[Kids stand up and rub their ears]
[Goofy slaps them on the back]

Soul turned around as Goofy explained about the Gummi Ship. Soul ended up on one when his home planet was first destroyed by the Heartless, but he didn't exactly know how he did it. "Gummi ship?" He asked, before looking at Minnie, Max, and Lea, which were inexplicably near each other. "Not the train?"

Lea didn't know much about the gummi ship either, only what Max had told her, so she looked to him for an answer.
Feeling not only Soul's eyes, but also Lea's on him, Max decided to try and explain, "Well, it's like the train, only you can decide where you want to go. Chip and Dale worked on it at the castle... it's really bulky and obnoxiously colored. Well, Dad and Donald's ship is bulky and obnoxiously colored anyway, I don't think I've ever seen anyone else's."
Goofy's eyes looked kind of sad, "I like the colors, Maxie..."
"Sorry, dad," Max apologized, seeing he had hurt his father's feelings.

Soul nodded a couple times. "I know what they are, I said I was on one. I was just confused. The train brings you where you need to go, so why chance randomness on a Gummi ship?" He asked, trying to understand the reasoning for taking the ship. He liked sure things. A lot. If they were to leave on a ship, the chances of choosing the right planet at the right time seemed odd and out of place.
((Picked up KH2 from a friend the other day, currently building an awesome Gummi Ship on a new game.))

"Well," Lea answered, sounding very logical, "We can't just leave the gummi ship here and go somewhere else. Someone might take it or something could happen to it."
Goofy nodded, "And we never know when we'll be back."
"Or if we'll be back," Max added. "Or how we'll get back without it."
"We could check to see if the train is still in the station... but it might have left without us... it has a tendency to do what ever it wants." Lea shook her head. The more she thought about it, the stranger it seemed that she and Max had been traveling at the will of a train for the past few months.
((I hate gummi ship levels. I never built my own ship ever. The colors are dumb and I just don't like it.
If I wanted a racing game designed for preschoolers I'd buy that instead of Kingdom Hearts.))

Soul blinked a few times, weighing the pros and cons. "I dunno... but I'll just follow you guys with it." He said. He thought about just using his dark portals to move around, but since Lea freaked out the last time he used one, he decided against it. He also decided not to bring it up.

Lea shrugged and looked at Max, who in turn shrugged and looked at Goofy who realized that both Lea and Max were looking at him and became confused. "What's wrong?"
"What do you think we should do?" Max inquired.
Goofy scratched his head and then seemed to have an idea "A-Yuk! Why don't we let Queen Minnie decide!"

Minnie looked at he others slowly, studying their faces. "I think we should take the Gummi Ship." She said at last. "I would like to think we are in control of our destiny in the universe." She informed, and the rest decided to agree as well. The Large Eared mouse leaned against the railing in a very uncharacteristic-like manner. "But, I'm going to leave the time of departure to you five." She said.

"Let's leave right now." Lea suggested, but Max put a hand on her shoulder.
He looked a little concerned, "Don't you think we should rest? You've had a long day and the original idea was to stay here for the night... I don't think you should over exert yourself."
"A-yuk, Maxie is right." Goofy nodded, "If we don't sleep tonight we won't be able to fight tomorrow."

"I'm all up for leaving, actually." Soul explained. He had been leaning on the wall now, and now he voiced his concern. "We already ended up meeting the Organization here already, whose to say they don't attack us again while we nap?" He asked.
Apparently, Soul had said the wrong words, as a nigh-demonic sound erupted from the area. It came from... Donald. "TCHE ORCKGINACHGATION*?!?!" Soul visibly winced, while Minnie's ears folded over.
*The Organization?!?!

Lea's eyebrow drooped. "The Organization..." She then looked over to Max. "I hate to say it, but I think Bossy Pants is right... Maybe we should leave. We can sleep on the Ship."
The goof nodded. "Alright, if you say you'll be okay."
"I'll be fine."
Goofy jumped "Let's go get the gummi ship ready, Donald!"
