True Fortuna Today I was in a car with my mom and one car in front of us had the full mask on its back! 0o' I was all like "Mom look this guy's got the Phantom's mask! Wonder where did they get it? Can we have something like that on the car?" ^^; I'm so planning on phantomizing my car (if I ever get one). It's (hopefully) gonna be black, have that mask on the hood, a rose on one of the doors, have a front liscense plate that reads " heart Erik" (erik would be the car's name), and a back liscense plate that reads "Phntm Phn" (if that could fit)

I was watching this show on G4, and it scared the crap out of me at first, because it's, like, in a night club and there's a bunch of ladies in lingerie. But anyways! One of the guys has a PHANTOM HALF-MASK! I was all, "OMG!!!!1111! PHANTOM!" Then, he got shot at, used this guy as a human shield, and left. I stopped watching when he was gone.

Eric_the_Phantom There's a Jimmy Neutron episode (I can't believe I know this...) where there's some sort of figure named the "Phantom" stalking the amusement park. He's dressed in funeral clothes with a skull mask...I didn't catch anything about his "legend" or where he came from though. and I'm not sure if anybody watches Blue Collar TV (or if it's been mentioned)but they had a skit about the "Phantom of the Grande Ol' Oprie" about some guy who got....a tire..thingy fused to his face, and now he lives beneath the grand ol' oprie combining opra music with country music (The phantom of course was played by Larry the Cable guy). And Christine was a spoof actress mocking some country singer with blonde hair and big breasts....(I can't remember her name) but when the Phantom asked her to sing for him he actually didn't like what he heard and ran away (which ended up just being back and forth across the stage). I nearly died when I saw it.... Never heard of that one before, but I did hear about another episode of that show where they made a Phantom reference. I've never watched that show, though. Just doesn't look to be my type of thing.

True Fortuna PhantomoftheFox * Animaniacs the tv series had a broadway themed episode in which the main characters were called upon to replace a bunch of theatre actors in Andy Loud Webby's new production of 'Cats of Phantom Boulevard'. Amongst other things, they sang a parody of Music of the Night. Aww, I so wanna see this!!! Music of the Night parody....that would so rock.... EDIT: I did some googling and managed to find the lyrics to that parody heart Yakko: Snoring, boring The play is confusing Lay back, way back Soon I will be snoozing Think I need a break 'Cause this feeling I can't shake And I'll have to go and take a nap instead. Yakko: Well, my job here is done! ALW : What? Next scene! No!!! rofl Gotta love those writers a the WB Studios!!!

In the movie Mirrormask, there's a scene where the girl is walking outside her home, and she sees this guy in a mask playing a violin. And then she keeps calling him "Eric" (or Erik). It was pretty cool.
I was like, "HOMYGAWD...A PHANTOM REFERENCE! SQUEE!"

In the manga Godchild (aka Count Cain) there is a girl who was born with a deformed face and her parents didn't even love her, she wears a mask, and only one character didn't look at her with fright and I started thinking "FEMALE ERIK whee "

Kitsune Ookami In the manga Godchild (aka Count Cain) there is a girl who was born with a deformed face and her parents didn't even love her, she wears a mask, and only one character didn't look at her with fright and I started thinking "FEMALE ERIK whee " There are lots of references in Count Cain! 1) There's a guy called Eric who was holding a piece of rope once: I thought he was going to strangle someone, but he died before he had the chance. 2) In a chapter, they talked about the legend of the "Dark Angel" a man who wore dark clothes, including a hat and a cape! 3) (probably not a reference, but I'll say it anyway) On the story of the serial killer that devour's people's stomatch, a girl says that she hears a song at night, as if someone's singing it in her ear. 4) There's a girl who gets her face burned, and when Cain looks at her, you see that THE RIGHT HALF OF HER FACE is burned, very much like AWL's Erik. I haven't get to the part with the deformed girl who isn't loved, though. When does that happen?

When does that happen? that one is in a really early chapter (like chapter five) it's where Cain's illegitimate brother (Jizabel) is introduced)

My family just sighed and moved along but I stayed and took pictures. If you would like them just PM me with your email address or something. biggrin Oh! I saw that in a catolog once.
