Speaking of ice...
One of my friends in high school wrote this story where me and her other high school friends were the villains, while she and her friends from elementary were the 'chosen ones'. Anyway, each of us was assigned an element; my best boy bud Paolo got ice, I got fire (yay!) while Ani2x got wind. I forgot who got earth, lightning, etc.
When the story was finished, for some strange reason, Ani2x was able to 'control' the wind while writing a poem for English class, with the words "Quiet, wind! I'm trying to concentrate!" (we were out on the roof). Sure enough, the wind died down. Meanwhile, my mom decided to go 'old-school' and we started lighting fires outside everytime we wanted to cook rice (staple Filipino food). I always got the fire going on the first try whereas Kai and Rei-chan had trouble with it. And I'd say "Don't burn me, okay?" before sticking my hand in to 'fix' an ill-placed piece of wood...and the fire would move away! eek
Dunno what happened to my fellow 'villains', though...
Oh, and I found a 'replacement' Tala! She was my math classmate last summer, and she's in my NSTP block. On the jeepney (equivalent of bus) to our assigned area, we're both just sitting there, arms over chests, not saying anything. xd :

We got a new Math teacher at start of last year and we were like OMG HE'S A DEMON and we went to investigate and we found this book and opened it and got all these powers! I got power of fire, Katie got power of ice and Lizzie got power of Lightning twas so good >.> was loads of fun writing parts of the story xD

...Is that some sort of story you and your friends are writing? Because the fire thing and that wind thing was definitely real and not based off of a story. I just mentioned the story because it happened soon after we'd finished reading it as a group.
Seriously, though, my character got mad/went berserk over something Hilary might go berserk over: a burned dress/outfit. stare I'm not that superficial, mind you. But it was all in good fun, and we had a few laughs over that. Maybe its because the story was supposed to be part comedy, too (Ani's character accidentally blowing her own skirt off showing her underpants = blaugh ), sooooo... yeah. 3nodding
But as for demon-teachers, ugh. Don't remind me. Our aesthetics just went from calm and laid-back to scary Boris Balkov-like person. xp

Why do I say he's like Balkov? Lemme think...
1. I'm usually the last one out of the room because I'm fixing my stuff...and Sir B always watches me doing so. 2. The way he looks at certain students - myself included - is eerily reminiscent of the way Balkov eyes his little 'soldiers' (the Demoltion Boys) 3. I've walked into the empty, darkened classroom once before, and then backed up to go out again (why would I be in an empty classroom?) only to bump into Sir B. I don't even hear him coming up behind me...and the floor's wooden! 4. When #3 happened and I turned around to greet him, he smiled this really creepy smile and commented me on my constantly being early for that class. 5. So far, I'm the only one in the whole class that he hasn't criticized when it comes to reports - written or oral. Even when the other students don't deserve it.
Damn.
Their last names even start with the same letter! Never actually noticed that before. =/
And Phi? I'd rather have a teacher who shouts a lot. At least you know what he's thinking. Sir B ...he's just impossible to read.
