A soft blush flushed Toshi's cheeks and she couldn't help but let out a laugh. She knew she was pretty, and she had been told so many times before. She wasn't quite sure why Jadyn though she would take offense to his words, but she did know plenty of Asian girls that weren't all that pretty.
"No offense taken," she finally managed, a gentle wave of her hand to dismiss that. "But thank you. You're quite handsome yourself, Jadyn."

Shuffling feet brought an oblivious boy to the front of the sweets shop. He couldn't read the writing on the window, but something about the store called to a young Marionette, who pushed his way in. He immediately walked to the shelves, staring at all of the pretty little treats. He put his hands palm down on the counter, gazing at the desserts with wide eyes.

Finally deciding on what she was going to purchase, Anastasiya began to fill up a bag with sweets, her eyes wandering to the new customer. She smiled to herself, noticing that he was quite cute and to her liking. Satisfied with the amount of candy she had placed in the bag, the girl made her way to him, tying the top in a knot as she moved. "Hellooo there," she smiled, pausing beside him and offering a kind smile.

He turned to face the girl slowly, mimicking her smile with his own charming smile. "Hello there," he spoke quietly, a slight surprise flickering in his eyes.

"You... are sooo adorable," she spoke, slowly and quietly. The girl grinned now, looking the other up and down. "Do you see something you'd like? I'll buy something if you want." Anastasiya moved a hand to brush some strands of hair to the side of his face. "You're like a delighted child, here in the sweets shoppe. It's very nice to see."

He tilted his head into her touch, turning his gaze back to the sweets on display. He moved a slender finger, pointing out a very colorful piece of cake on the shelf, a small smile shaping his lips. "Mmm," Marionette mumbled.

"Is that what you'd like?" Anastasiya asked sweetly, looking to the treat. "Before I ask for it, is there anything else you'd like, darling?" She looked back to the other, smiling warmly.

Marionette let out a thoughtful sigh, gazing at the other treats before pointing to a large, bright blue cupcake. He smiled brightly at it, turning to look at Anastasiya again. "Mmm."

She smiled with a nod. "And that, too," she mumbled, mostly to herself. "Perhaps we should just purchase all that is brightly colored?" Anastasiya suggested with a small laugh before pointing out various items she'd like to buy to the person working. After receiving the sweets, she turned to the other. "Kak teb'a zovut?" Anastasiya asked before shaking her head with a chuckle. "Izvini. I meant to ask you what your name was." The girl handed the box to the other with a smile. "What is your name, darling?"

The boy looked to her, his eyes slightly wide. "Kak teb'a zovut," he replied, mimicking her accent perfectly. He let out a laugh, smiling as he took the box happily. "Called Marionette," he said, his eyes glued to the box.

"Well that's certainly interesting," she replied, watching him thoughtfully. "How were you able to say exactly as I have said previous?" Anastasiya held onto her own sweets with one hand, gently leading the other out of the store with her free arm. "Where do you live?"

Menefre's tail curled around his legs, almost tripping him more than once as he entered the shop and peering at all the candies and sweets. His wings flexed, stretching and folding every time he saw one that looked especially good. He wiggled his hips, as he narrowed down the choices in his mind. "What to get, what to get, there's so many," he spoke with a sing-song voice.
Adrian lifted his sunglasses up from his eyes, letting them set on his head, in front of his hat, as he entered the shop, looking around. While he wasn't much one for sweets, a bit did sound good right now. He chose his candy quickly and paid for it, moving to sit as he looked over one, reaching into his jacket to pull out a small book. "A good book, and candy...This is turning out to be a good day," he mumbled to himself, popping the small candy into his mouth.

Not two steps away from the winged man the exact same delight and indecision accosted a blonde female, her taller brother smiling on in amusement as he watched her fret which of the many delicious looking sweets she would buy. Well...he would buy her. She pressed her slender fingers against the cooled glass to stare closer at the handmade chocolates.
"They all looks so good!"
