"Oh... Thats cool." She smiled through her pain and then collapsed to her knees. He leg was now hurting so much that it was causing a head ache. "Mmm i think i really did something to my leg yesterday...."

"From my ankle to my knee... I think when i was running away from that Buyer yesterday, i hurt it...." She said, clenching her fists tightly in a jester to get the pain to go away. She didnt want to be a bother, and being hurt could be the difference in living or dying here, she knew that. "ill be fine, i can get use to the pain...." She wanted to be strong, she wanted to show she was strong.

"stop fooling yourself not even i could muscle through this wound."Darius said with a wince as he looked at the big bruise on her leg."you cant move on this leg were gettin you back to the apartment and your resting."he said lifting her into his arms and starts carrying her back through the alley

Kiro couldnt help but blush. The only other person who had held her in their arms was her brother and she hadnt cared about him in a way that would affect her. But...
"No! Put me down please? I- i cant allow this to happen.." She cried and then started to squirm. She didnt like this insecurity, she wanted to feel safe.

"fine fine!"Darrius said setting her down gently"then let me help you"he said putting her arm around his shoulders and took most of her weight of her hurt leg. "that better?"

"Umm, im sorry.... I-" Her face felt like it was burning up and she wondered if that was because of the fact she was embarrassed or was it the fever she wasnt aware she had. All she knew was feelings deep inside of her made her wish she would just disappear or at least show that she didnt need a man in her life to live. She felt her barriers falling, crumbling at his touch and she wasnt quite sure what to do... What could she do but try and be the way she had always been.

Kiro decided not to speak for the greater good of her own heart. If she said anything it could lead to the sudden outburst she had been dreading, so instead she just gave in, letting him take her into the room without the even hint of a fight. She couldnt let this get to her, she couldnt let him get to her. She was tired, worn from stress and pain that shot up her body. In this shape she couldnt run from anything, not even herself.

Darius grunted kicking open his apartment door off the hinges andd layed Keli on the couch. He put his hand on her head. "your starting to catch a fever just lay here." he said running into the bathroom wetting a towel and put it on her head and wet another putting it on her neck. "alright now to take away that sweeling." he grabbed another towel and rapped ice in it. He walked back over and put the ice wear the bruise was and sighed.

"Im sorry... " Kiro whispered. It had been so long since she had had such a fever or felt this way. Most of the time she did feel sick to her stomach but that was due to the stress of an every day life here, in these streets. Never once had an ingury affected her in such a way.

Kiro could hardly relax. Not only did she feel pain but she was flustered, unable to keep her mind straight. She just sighed, got the water and drank some of it.
"Thank you...." She whispered again.

"no worries." Darius smiled again and stood up stretching and walked to the door placing its normal position. "i guess i gotta fix that...watch some t.v. if you like." he walked into the other room and grabbed the first aid kit and started looking through it.

She closed her eyes and played back into her memories, wondering what her brother now looked like. She missed him and wondered if she would ever find him. Slowly she opened her eyes half way and looked down at her legs. They didnt hurt as much as they had...
"Ive delt with worse..." She said as she closed her eyes again.
