Hinata stuck out her tongue and nodded. "Neji-san is too full of himself. But Otuu-san said I had to." She hide her face once again. "Ever since you left daddy has been planning on Neji-san and I getting married. I wouldn't have minded Naruto-kun but daddy said he didn't even have a clan, much less a respectful one." She sighed. "You like him...don't you?" She barely said it but knew he would be able to hear it anyways.
Haku just nodded again. "If that is what he wishes for then that is what I will allow him to do. It is what I owe him. My life." His choco brown eyes showed he was not scared of the vampire in front of him nor the one to his side.

"Who, Naruto? Eh, he's definitely a ball of energy but he's better than Neji I think. Then again, I think you'd have a more secure future with him than Naruto." Kiba said, not really caring much for either. If he'd still been home, he'd be going after Hinata himself.
"You keep saying that." Shikamaru said with a frown. "What did he do exactly? I thought he never left these woods so unless you've come here before, I'm missing something."

Hinata laughed slightly. "That's not what I meant, silly. I'm asking if you like Shikamaru-san. Do you?" She raised her eyes to look at him as he answered. "And I don't mean as just a friend. I can see you are at least that."
Haku shook his head with a frown. "I'm sorry but that is something I will not tell you." His voice spoke definced to the vampire and his eyes dared the vampire to try and find out more.

Kiba stopped walking again and turned to look at her. "He saved my life and has been looking out for me ever since. I don't know if it's just because of our bond or not, but...I think I do...love him." he blushed a bit and looked away.
"You trying to be brave, human?" Shikamaru said to the look Haku was giving him. "I could snap you in half with little effort. You're just lucky I already fed or I would drain you dry."

Hinata smiled and ruffled Kiba's hair before she felt like she was about to fall, then she quickly put her arms back around Kiba's neck. "It's okay, Kiba-kun. I think it's nice that you love someone." SHe lay her head back on his shoulder and closed her eyes. "How close are we?"
Haku said nothing, just looked away. He was breaking the rules his mother had taught hom about vampires. 'never look one in the eye and say you are better then it.' 'never challenge one' He had just done both as he talked to this vampire.

"Yeah, well it would be better if he felt the say way. I tease him all the time but I really do think that he doesn't feel anything." Kiba said with a sigh, then started walking again. "We're almost there. You hear the water? That's where we're going."
When the were standing beside a small waterfall, Kiba pointed down. "We're going down there. The path is steep and slippery in spots so I'm going to carry you again." Though she probably could have made it on her own, he just wanted an excuse for her to be closer. After all, she was his first love...

Hinata giggled as she moved back onto Kiba's back. "I'm sure he feels the same about you. Who wouldn't love you?" Hinata clung to her friend as watched the waterfall, a small smile on her face.

"Ooh, does Hinata love me too?" Kiba asked with a grin as he headed down the path, carefully at the slippery spots. Just when he reached the bottom his foot slipped and they fell. He made sure to turn so he was the one who hit the ground and was glad for the moss underneath him.

Hinata epped as they fell. "Oh, Kiba-kun, are you ok?!" She helped Kiba up and tried to hide her blush. "W-well...ye-yes. I-I d-do..." She muttered, looking down, her blush growing. "A-and...I.I-I thought y-you k-knew."

"I do now." Kiba said and felt himself blush as well. "So, what do you think of the place?" He waved his arm around the area they were in. There was a deep pool of water from the small water fall and there were flowers everywhere, though most were closed at the moment. "Looks like we're just in time too."

Hinata looked around. She took a step closer to the waterfal and giggled as she felt little droplets hit her face. She turned around and looked at Kiba. "In time for what?" She asked, still giggling from the water hitting her skin.

When the moon was high enough, the light filtered down through the trees, reflecting off the pool of water. Slowly the flowers began to open, looking like they were glowing from the light reflecting off of them. The fireflies were out too and it made the place seem magical. "Aren't they beautiful? They're moon lilies. I planted some of them and the rest just grew from there and now this place is filled with them." Kiba sat down in his normal spot, leaning against a tree as he watched Hinata.

((I'm remembering the eps. where Hinata was in the lake and Naruto was watching her like the bad boy he is.))
Hinata's lavender gaze watched one flower bloom slower then the others and smiled when she saw that it glowed suck a bright white color. "You're a sepcail little flower, aren't you?" She asked softly, touching the petals. She turned to look at Kiba and saw the moon was making him glow too. "T-this o-one i-is t-the p-prettiest." She whispered as she pointed to the one she had watched open. "T-this p-place i-is s-so b-beautiful."

What Kiba hadn't told her was that he had made this place with her in mind. He never expected that she'd ever see it though. "Just like you, Hinata." He said with a smile then watched as a firefly landed on his hand. "You know, the fairies like places like this. Maybe if you see one, it will grant you a wish."

Hinata movedover to where Kiba sat and sat down next to him. "You mean there are fairies here? They're real?" Hinata leaned on Kiba's arm and looked around. "I wouldn't doubt it. You are right. This is just the place where you find them. I bet they're all here cause of the flowers." She smiled up at him. "If I see one...do you want to come home?"
