Hyde watched Feroz quietly, moving when Feroz did and wrapping his arms around his neck loosely, blushed before tucking his head against his neck, resting on the Drow's shoulder. For a split moment he had felt too close, TOO close to feeling like he should have gotten closer to Feroz, oh the marvels of drink.
"nngh" HYde answered at last, not actually understanding the drow.

"I said, "Fire is also warm, but it burns." He explained, guessing at the lack of comprehention, though he'd feel silly if he was wrong, lifting Hyde easily as he stood and started walking again. "Sometimes I wonder if thats not the nature of life. We find an strange appeal in the most dangerous things. Like Dragons, or poisonous blooms and open flames." Or affection. tying ourselves to another. Even unconiously, even the drow do that don't they? He debated inside.

"ohh" Hyde answered softly, sitting up a little and staring at Feroz. He blinked, a hand reach up to tentively touch the scars on the Drow's face, his expression blanked and he moved both hands up to cup the Drow's cheeks, making Feroz look down at him.
"Feroz is too nice" he murmured with a slurred tone, he felt tired now, the alcohol was getting to him bad. He smiled and leaning up gently touched his lips to Feroz's.

In the moment of Feroz's stunned reaction, you could have heard grass growing, were your ears keen enough to pick up on that small act of vegitative determination. Hyde's hands were warm, and his breath still smelled like alchohol. But a kiss, however faint, and however warmed by sharp tang of alchohol, was still a kiss. Stunned, he returned it just as gently, then pulled away. "...And you're drunk." He added, with maybe a twinge of regret to the statement. ".....Lets get you in bed. You need sleep...." His own home was just over the rise, settled under a copse of thick trees, which gave it shade even on some of the brightest days.

Hyde had slid his eyes closed when he first started the kiss with Feroz, he had noted the stunned reaction but held his lips firmer against Feroz's in anycase. His brain pointed towards 'stay', of coarse he was surprised when he felt Feroz respond, even if it was light and brief.
"can you stay with me??" Hyde asked softly, a little annoyed that Feroz just broke the kiss and killed it by stating the obvious. He pouted , but still snuggled close to Feroz in anycase, taking his muddy armwarmers off. He had only just noticed and the mud just made them feel weird. Of coarse, that meant any scars were on show.

He debated this, fumbling for words for a moment, more so when he noticed the scars hidden by the arm warmers. Battle scars? Maybe not, they didn't have the look of something done at speed in battle. A little calculated. Torture perhaps? He pulled his eyes away, he could ask later. "I can do that...." He'd just sleep with his clothes on. Save questions in the morning.....

Hyde smiled and pulled himself up again, kissing Feroz more insistently on the lips as a thankyou. He didn't know why he wanted to kiss the drow, he just did. His arms wrapped around Feroz's neck as he kept up the contact, his eyes shutting.
He broke the kiss after keeping the contact longer than before and smiled. "does Feroz live in a nice place??" he asked curiosuly.

This by far had all the makings of an troublesome dilema, he considered, flushed from the kiss, clearing his throat and reminding himself again that Hyde was very drunk, and therefore not thinking clearly. "I think so." He answered, awkwardly. "I need to find some candles, however...."

Hyde blinked at Feroz. No lighting?? he used candle's. He couldn't help but laugh a little at the thought of Feroz using electronic appliances, mainly a toaster or a lamp. He snuggled up to Feroz, arms still about the Drow's neck still.
"do you live in a cottage??" he asked curiously, there was no housing around here and it was away from town. where did the Drow live??

"Actually, you can see for your self....maybe." He nodded toward the trees ahead, toward a shaded place with little more to suggest a dwelling than a bulge in the ground and a chimney. "Everything else had too many windows. Too much sun. It hurts my eyes..." To tell the truth, when he was adjusted to the darkness, even the light of a candle stung and burned, and his vision in the daylight was never as good as in the dark. Edges blurred, distances blurred more into colorful haze. In the dark his vision was nearly perfect, which only underscored his weakness to the brightness of day. "I need no lights, so I don't use them often." he admitted, expressing his failure to prepare for guests.

"oh I see" Hyde answered, not really seeing anything beyond the thick, suffocating darkness of the ending night. Pretty soon, light would seep through as dawn came, at least, that was what Hyde's pocketwatch read.
"sun is nice for me, but then drow are dark-dwellers right??" Hyde asked sleepily, curling in on himself a little as he shut his eyes wearily. Tonight had been fun, but, now he was sleepy. "let's go bed Feroz" he mumbled childishly, grinning at the Drow.

"Where I was born there was no sun." He answered, remembering the place with mixed feelings. "I need to get this damn chain unhitched from my buckle, but we will certainly be putting you to bed." He noted, amused but thrown by the implications of Hyde's phrasing, wondering how much of it he meant.

Hyde's grip tightened on Feroz when the Drow said he was to be put to bed first, oh no, if he was going to bed, Feroz was coming too. He wiggled again and dropped down from the Drow's arms, legs wrapping around his waist tightly and arms wrapping around his neck, head buried into Feroz's chest.
"nu uh, you're coming to bed with me!!" Hyde said with a grin, still with his limbs locked around the Drow. He didn't actually know what he was doing anymore, everything but teasing Feroz was out of his head, and the fact the Drow needed someone to be nice to him. Hyde was being nice, in his own way.

"Ack! You're going to overbalance me again!" he protested, shifting to take Hyde's latest assault into account. This was insane on many levels. "I'll share a -room- with you but thats it!" He insisted, trying to make it as far as the door to open it. Once he was inside he had to find, and light, some candles so that Hyde could see also, so this was going to be no insignificant exersize. "Alright?"

"no!! same bed!! I wanna cuddle!!" Hyde insisted with a childish pout, the alcohol had totally over run his brain by now and he clung closer to Feroz. Peering through the darkness to try and find his face. Scuttling up the drow a little he smiled and placed a kiss on his lips again, the Drow's responses to the kisses were excellent according to Hyde.
"forget candles!! we're going straight to bed!!" Hyde insisted once again, breaking the kiss to give his opinion before giving the drow another one, one hand weaving behind his head, thread into the ivory strands of hair, keeping his head in place. Feroz was a fun drow.
