if you think about it, the phantom just might use all his phans to get money, and probably would learn how to hack into the site and cause mischief of a sort....and write phancy letters....demanding money

With all the things people want to do to him when they get their hands on him, he would probably hide his identity, unless he was really despirate . . . which he is, obviously. To go from hated to cult-worshipped might be hard to ignore. He'd probably send a rude e-mail to Raoul and Christine, saying something like, 'Ha ha, where are your fans?'
At which point Raoul might reply 'Look behind you.'
Then the angry fans would battle . . . not uncommon . . . while Erik sits by the pool drinking tequila.

Painted Black If Erik somehow got ahold of a laptop (In heaven or somewhere >>), and discovered the wonders of Gaia, and then typed in 'Phantom' in the search box, and found our little guild, what do you think his reaction would be? Would he curse the casino for making his maskgoddamn high, so that it would take an eternity for him to aquire? Which forum would he spend the majority of his time? Would he write in red to the admins so if some n00b approached him?

I'd have to say that he would be very upset. After all he believes he is a monster, and to have people like him...he wouldn't comprehend. And he'd be upset that even if there were people who liked him, the one he loves wouldn't. Poor Erik. Then he would try to convince us that the cult that is this guild should be demolished, and there should be no shrine to him.

AvengingMorningstar Unromantic_Phantom I doubt he would be quite so happy about it. Erik would probably want to punjab most of his phans as well as the people who have portrayed him in movies/musicals. Besides, quite a few members on this site have deviant art links in their profiles. What would happen if he got there and saw some of the phan art people have made? I have to agree. I think he would be very angry about the whole thing. He'd been greeted with only disgust and fear by his fellow humans. He'd see this now as a cruel mocking of al lthat he endured. A farse at his expense. His utter hatred for most of mankind would make something like this guild probably to drive him into a murderous rampage. Plus, he'd be in his 160's so, he probably wouldn't really do too much. 160?....I don't mind, I like older men. heart

Taking an eternity to get the mask... You're telling me. My stupid Erik cosplay character is STILL questing for it, and I've been gathering tickets on all my accounts for about SIX MONTHS! scream
But I'm really taking ahold of it now. I'll have it soon, I know it!
As far as what he'd do... Probably keel over from the shock. If he survived... He'd probably try and sort out the good phans from the n00b phans. Then contact the good ones and the'd not want to get their hopes up that it was really Erik and not some mean RPer and shun him. Then Erik'd be sad again.
