I was attacked by a herd of demons outside the castle. I was wondering why the horse were acting strange.

Ayra jumped from her seat and ran to croutch at her other side.
"My lady, i suggest an attack now, before they take advantage of the suddeness of their attack. Most demons are stupid, so i suggest an ambush," she explained quickly. She began to check the Queen for injurys. As she did so she spoke to Shaakati without looking at him,
"No offence meant of course but on my travels its proven the case,"

"We don't have the force to attack them Ayra. I don't want to put other people's lives in jeopardy."

"No offence meant of course but on my travels its proven the case,"
A light huffing sound would have passed through the lips of an individual that remained unseen to this point, a voice started to linger around the female. "I can see you are quick to judge such creatures." Suddenly a row of sharp teeth appeared hovering above the stool near the female, suddenly after a ripple of heat, a man dressed in red was seen upon the stool, his sharp teeth now hidden by the red scarf that laid upon him. His soothing royal blue eyes looked directly towards the female. "To tell the truth, I find it hurtful you know us as 'demons'." The male's smile grew larger the curling lips only just visable over his scarf now as a light chuckle passed through his shut teeth.
This man was none other then Rorek Orobus the owner of the Misfits house. of course being an owner of such a place would make him seem odd to just about anyone. His little entrance had nothing to do with fire, it seemed to be something to do with the red energy that lingered around the male so slightly, but to anyone's eyes it would seem as though nothing was coming off him at all, apart from those who can see the very energy of peoples bodies. Rorek would keep his eyes upon the female, a little interested that she thinks so lightly of his kind.

Seeing the Demon sitting on a nearby stool she straightened stiffly, her amber eyes cold again.
"If you wish to remedy my view your entrance hardly helps matters. If, a demon chooses to attack someone, its only logical to assume that they mean ill," she told him, her head raised in defiance. The elf took a step forwards towards him, almost having to push her way through the unusal feel around him.
"I do not think we have had the pleasure of meeting, who are you?" she asked, amber eyes turning curious.

Rorek's soothing royal blue eyes glowed brightly for a brief moment as his smile remained on his face, he could tell she was feeling his energy around her and for anyone that would be a bad thing, he allowed his eyelids to close upon his eyes, blocking them from view before he would answer. his teeth would part allowing his tongue to move once more causing english words to form. "You really think we are all mindless killing mechines? besides, there is always a reason behind a 'demons' action, usually it involves orders from a higher being." Rorek stated, wanting to make that small thing clear before answering her question, he would then allow himself to answer. "Usual, to recieve ones name you give your own first, but as you wish, my name is Rorek Orobus, the meaning of which is Red Field. and you are?" Rorek stated, allowing his soothing blue eyes to lay upon her once more, his energy lightened on her body slightly, making it easier for her to move towards him or away from him if she wished.

"My name is Ayra, i am keeper of the wisdom and secrets of the elves. A pleasure to meet you Rorek Orobus" she replied, her voice strong and confident, though her right hand was clutched in a tight fist as she continured to stand in the strange energy surronding him.
"A demon is someone who does something wrong for no good reason, as you said, many will do so from orders from a higher being. If they cannot see that what they are doing is wrong then they are indeed a demon," she spoke softly, but she didn't seem particulary afraid. Almost without thinking she took another step forward as the strange sensation seemed to move away from her.

Rorek's soothing royal blue eyes brightened slightly as he parted his shut teeth and allowed a laugh to pass through his lips before he would begin to speak. "You seem to miss understand, the reason I'm using your word 'demon' to describe them, it doesn't mean they are all 'demons' , some are simply creatures of the land of the dead that get mistaken for demons. Then again, humans can't seem to be able to tell a Anthro from a 'demon' these days." Rorek rambled, he just seemed to go off from the point, he would then look towards her. "To me, Demons are inside all of use, some greater then others which make them seem demonic, and some are yet to be let out." Rorek stated once more, he definately only seemed to be rambling on about what the human world knows as demons.

Ayra sighed, looking into his clear blue eyes.
"A point i cannot argue against you. It is true that humans have little understanding for other races, unless they have something to gain from the matter," she replied with a dignified grace. Holding her hands behind her back she smiled at the male in front of her, silvery white cloak rustling as she moved. It parted a little to show the forest green tunic and black trousers and boots beneath, it was obvious she travelled from place to place.
"From the way you speak i assume that you know of these creatures from the dead place?" she asked, curious once more. Hearing his comment about inner demons she chuckled softly, she found it hard to believe everyone had a demon inside of them, especially any of her people.

Rorek allowed his curled lips too loosen slightly to form a grin before he would lower his head slightly in a nod, he would then raise his head once again to look towards her as his lips parted. "I should hope I know considering I am from the land of the dead, or as we call it, Zomiqit, it is my home realm after all." Rorek stated, slowly showing more of himself with each moment and question, his soothing royal blue eyes seemed to wonder around the room slightly at the other occupents before resting back onto Ayra.

Ayra's smiling face broke into a full grin, her warm amber eyes dancing with excitment.
"Then, would you tell me about your home realm?" she asked taking another eager step forward. It was apparent that although she was old in human years she was very young for her race.
"As the keeper of wisdom it is my duty to collect imfomation about anything and everything and commit it to memory," she explained, waving a hand carelessly. Just from looking at her you could tell she was good at her job, although young she seemed old, old beyond her years.

Rorek allowed his eyes to close once more, the same grin lingering upon his face, he was never fond of telling people about his realm, considering it tells all human religions as being a lie. He looked towards her before parting her lips. "Tell me, what do you think happens to your soul after you pass on?" Rorek stated, wanting to know this before he starting telling her about his realm.

Ayra's excited grin settled into a soft smile. She bowed her head, white blonde hair falling across her face. at first she did not speak then muttered,
"I have travelled for many years, and as an advisor to many kings and queens have seen death far to often. I have therefore come to the conclusion that the afterlife is nothing more then a state of mind, when you pass on, your dying thought is what you expect of the next life. Meaning whatever you think you deserve, is what you recieve," she finished. Looking up again her tender smile grew a little,
"It goes against the elves beliefs, but i prefer my thoughts, they are less disapointing,"

Rorek looked towards her wondering how she might take on his information "What if I was to tell you, all of those human religions are a lie, and the only reason the word demon was created was because of crimes created in my realm?" Rorek stated, he was unsure whether he should explain in deeper detail or just give her the history record of Zomiqit.
