Niima's feet shuffled and in a long pause she seemed to wait for the fire to hit her. However, once close enough her body rushed forward and dipping between the strikes of fire. Wind guiding her feet she ducked down in what appeared to be a low drawn uppercut but instead she was gathering air and with a thrust of her palm upward sent a funnel of air at Tsuzuki in high hopes to send the girl off her feet.

((OMG!!! AVATAR SEASON THREE TONIGHT!!!!! ))
Although the gust did sweep Tsuzuki off her feet, it probably wasn't what Niima had hoped for. Tsuzuki had spent so much time using her firebending to propell her up into the air in the fashion of airbenders that this attack barely knocked her anywhere unwillingly. She used her firebending to quickly right herself and even float comfortably back to earth. It wasn't too bad to be on the defensive every once and awhile.
But, then again, being on the attack was good too. She kicked up at waist height in the air creating a slashing movement with her leg. She kept her arms up in the air much like a kickboxer would only, instead of in fists, her fingers created a shape more like claws as if she were in tiger stance.

Actually it was good enough. It got Tsuzuki off the ground. Hands weaving through the air she concentrated on the ground a five foot radius of Tsuzuki's landing point. Drawing her hands back she started to force the air from a pinnacle point, like a vacuum. A series of movements had her circling away from the kicking Tsuzuki as Niima attempted to withdraw the firebenders source of fire creating..Air.

((Ew. I'm watching Dirty Jobs and it's the one about the Septic Tank Cleaner and the Worm Ranch. Ew.))
Tsuzuki laughed to herself over Niima's attempt to take the air from her surrounding area because, by blowing the air around her one way, she was sucking it through another. The fire just went at random areas. She immediately strung a jet of fire towards the opposite direction than Niima's. Next, she closed her other hand close to her body and, away from the vaccuum of air, created a concentrated ball of fire.
The whole motion took her only a few seconds but, once she opened her hand, the little ball exploded, therefore taking the air concentration away from Niima's attack and into Tsuzuki's. Although she was flung backwards and into the sand, she could use her firebending to avoid the brunt of the attack. There were a few scratches on her arms and a small burn on her cheek that would be gone in a few weeks, if not days.

Well there had been a reason for it but Tsuzuki had spoiled the plan. Ah well. She swept along the ground to avoid Tsuzuki's fire and she blinked, stepping forward as the poor firebender hit ground. "Och..you okay there?" She didn't get closer and remained in defense though she was worried. While she waited she attempted to open her sealed eye again and flinched at the pain. She would have to tug it open. Ew that sounded not so fun...

(Apologies for not posting...I been waiting for a time to see where I could...)
Musei shifted his position, stretching his legs out while watching the fight ensue. Jeez, Niima...don't take too many hits. I'll...have to stop if you get hurt again.

The crash had left Tsuzuki with several scrapes and buises but, because it was sand that she had landed in, she was mainly unharmed. "Yeah! I'm fine!" she laughed back.
Then she noticed her eye. "Niima, just a few more rounds and then I'll take you to the waterbender in town. She's a really good healer and I'm sure she'd be happy to fix your eye for you," Tsuzuki offered, hoping that Niima wasn't too angry with her for fighting so roughly.

"No offense but I usually do not allow strangers to perform their healings on me." She offered a small smile and looked over to Musei. She knew by the look on his face that he was probably a bit worried over her. Hm. Maybe she should swallow her fear and allow the waterbender to look at her. For now she would dwell on it.
Attention turning back she slowly begins to gather air in a circle about her with small motions of her wrist, this however was nothing more then a defensive purpose.

Musei grumbled, rolling his eyes as well. Niima, Niima, Niima. What ever shall I do with you? He laughed to himself, watching the older woman gathering air. He frowned, digging into the sand with his staff, growing slightly bored with the back and forth.

Tsuzuki's smile faltered slightly before she got her head back in the game or fight, as it were. She felt somewhat guilty using fire on Niima again but she didn't feel guilty enough to stop the fight all together: she needed it too badly. She shot three simultanious blasts of fire in Niima's direction rapidly pushing her fists out and back in similar to the way a snake strikes its prey. But she didn't feel like a snake: it was all out in the open for Niima to see.

Niima seemed 'dazed', her attention not really focused forward on Tsuzuki's attack. There was good reason for it though. She was concentrating on drawing the air as a 'body shield', forming it inches from her skin as a protective shield. Her eyes rose as she released the extra air gathered in return strike to Tsuzuki.

Tsuzuki held her ground against the airstrike. She was still a little worried about Niima but that wouldn't make her hold back anymore than she already was. With a little extra strength and concentration, she rushed forward, shooting disk-like flames off of her arm. She brushed her left hand across her arm, creating the friction that helped make the fire especially intense and shot it slightly forwards to make the disks fly towards Niima. It was something new and interesting to Tsuzuki.

Her skin-shield didn't last long under the pressure and she found that one of the disks met the flesh of her left arm. She flinched but instead of staggering back..she shot forward. Feet digging into the ground she bolted straight for Tsuzuki. When close enough, Niima jumped to the side without warning and shot her hands forward. Not at Tsuzuki but at the sand at her feet, trying to 'dig' Tsuzuki into the ground. As the air drew from between Tsuzuki's feet and the sand itself it began to toss the small particles about and with a whip of Niima's hand sent it upward to shroud Tsuzuki in a almost tornado of sand and air.

Tsuzuki grinned as Niima did this. Of coarse it wasn't the usual response to a brutal attack but, then again, Tsuzuki wasn't exactly 'usual'. She immediately set the sand around her on fire: a hard task that was aquired by heating the sand very quickly with its inner fire it collects from the sun every day. Once it was on fire, she sent it forwards, trying as hard as possible not to flinch. Her muscles strained as she kept her possition and her thoughts dedicated to the task at hand.

She knew Tsuzuki would do that, or something similar to it so she was prepared. And a violent act for Niima came about. Hankering down her hands thrust outward and she sent a blast of air to collide with the incoming force. The rapid cooling caused the sand to shift into it's glassy state. Like rapid bullets they went shooting at back at Tsuzuki.
