Yeah, I know what you mean. I also make my own backgrounds and icons because I'd rather make things myself than get someone else to do it for me.
And I was just kidding about the off topic-ness, I can never stay on topic myself either. xD

I talk to my friends about j-rock and manga. My lifeblood. Every now and then we sneak in werewolf/vampire/ghosts in there somewhere. But mostly it's j-rock and manga. ^^

Yeah, same here. I pretty much started with obsessing over anime and manga, then started to love the opening song for FMA which is READY STEADY GO by Laruku. And from there on I kept discoverng more and more awesome Jrock and Visual Kei bands and now I'm just all obsessed with it. xD

As soon as I discovered Hyde, I found Gackt and downloaded + watched Moonchild. I LOVE that movie! I watch it atleast once a week.
