My Hollow Krusnik Yoshiki Apparently I didn't introduce myself. How rude of me. My Name is not to be disclosed at this time, but you may call me Krusnik Yoshiki or just Krusnik or Yoshiki. I'm 17 and I live in the Big Country south of the great cold north, Canada. I'm originally from there. I don't know a lot of metal, but I love a few metal bands like Megadeth, Demons and Wizards, Edguy, Opeth and Iron Maiden. I also like Prog Rock such as Marty Friedman and Joe Satriani. As well as the Classics like Led Zeppelin. I tried to play guitar once, but I got distracted and then my friend broke one of my strings. I'm thinking of learning bass...because I'm kind of lazy. As for School, I'm a 4.0+ student and I'm in NHS. I was also captain of the JV volleyball team last year. Now that was probably more than anyone ever needed to know about me except my name, but whatever. Me too, and you looked like a 4.0+ student. Really? I look even more like a 4.0+ student with my glasses on, which makes sense... I have a 4.222 or something and I'm only ranked 30 out of 377 in my grade. Too many overachievers go to my school.

im Mister Lewis, earlier known as Dark_hartz, ive been in the metal forum for a while now, and it has gotten me into so many bands, its insane
my favorite types of metal are Black, Death, Thrash, and Doom
some of my favorite bands are: Dark Funeral, Emperor, At The Gates, Morbid Angel, Bolt Thrower, Black Sabbath, Sabbat, Sodom, and Saint Vitus

Hello, it's obvious what my username is. I listen to black, old school death, doom, thrash, and folk metal. (I don't believe in there being a genre called "viking metal" as that is a lyrical theme.) I'm a black metal elitist and a b***h. Anyways, hi.

Well, it is its own genre but it's fading into just a sub-genre of Folk. And it's not just a lyrical theme. For example Doomsword sing about vikings, but they're Epic Doom.

Wow, cuasing trouble about my sub-forums already huh?
Controversy, I like it.
Lyrics=/=genres. I am quite aware that Viking falls in line with folk. Not all folk is viking, yadda yadda. When I made the guild I was very into both genres and I wanted a separation between the two. Viking has enough bands that it can sustain it's own forum. It was my choice, and I stand by my choice to keep things more organized in here, no matter who agrees or diagrees with how I make my forums. Simple as that. I agree with you that viking doesnt have enough barings to stand alone, but in here it was how I wanted things to be. 3nodding
