The red energy ball explodes, burning up some of Arthur's flammable jacket and setting his hair alight. 'You are an arse hole.' He says to the newcomer, stepping over and swinging his sword a couple of times at his head (unpowered)

Ruby took both hits but began healing right afterwards. She pulled herself up, a blood colored blade forming in her hand.

Arthur chuckled at the sight of a sword in the woman's hand. 'You think your sword can stand up to mine?' He asks, turning from Verve. 'Cos i don't agree. Steel is greater than blood.' He lifts his mighty blade to a fighting stance. 'Shall we test this?' He asks.

Arthur parried the blow, but with his arm, not his sword. 'Not this steel, sugar.' He says, swinging his sword down in a mighty arc at her face, then bringing it up with a powered strike. (1 unpowered, 1 powered)

Verve met the swing with his own magical weapon. "Yeah, steel is good. But energy is better." He threw another energy grenade at Arthur.

Silencer takes up Arthur in his sights his finger slides the safety off and his finger finds the trigger and squeezes. The .50 round flies out of the barrel speeding right at Arthur.

A person running by saw the fight. He paused a moment, and yelled "Arthur!" A bolt of what appeared to be lightning shot from his hand, hitting Verve square in the back. He turned around, launching a fireball into the face of a city guard. He took off running again, blood dripping down his arm.

Verve's grenade didn't harm Arthur, but at the sound of a gunshot he looked up. 'What the sh... oof!' He fell backwards with some force, as the bullet had hit him in the temple. He stands up, and spits out the cartridge, the bullet hole closing as quickly as it had formed. He wipes blood from his eyes, and glances around. 3 enemy supers on the ground, and a hidden sniper... he needed some cover. Then the grunt ran along. He smiled. 'Backup for the meatshield...' he muttered.

The sniper watches the bullet hit Arthur in he head assuming it killed him he picks a next target. His sights find Verve as he pulls his bolt back ejecting the empty shell and pushes it back forward pushing a new round into the barrel. he aims and fires at Verve.

Arthur wipes some more blood from his mouth (cause blood is cool and i gotta go and s**t... ya...) and realises this fight isn't going his way. 'Next time, Mothers.' He mutters to his opponents, thinking he would have bought Ora and Ashe enough time to do whatever it was they were doing, and crawls off to find a handy alley with a nice dumpster to hide in.
