((HOMG WHAT A POST WHAT?! *types*))
Cherokee obliged easily as Enzo took the phone from his hands and it made the tackle the smaller man had made on the much larger man look a bit foolish. He flashed him a fleeting grateful expression, and Emily peered at Enzo intently obviously very curious as to what was going on. She quickly giggled at Enzo's attempt at an accent, and Cherokee hushed her with a thick finger to his lips. She quickly pressed her lips together and didn't make another peep.
At being asked this question Cherokee gave the best incredulous look a man whose face never changed expression could. It was an obvious no. "Too risky." He responded. "But keep them on the..." He paused, the voice on the phone was loud enough for him to hear and the threat that it uttered... and then the man was gone with a click.
"... Line." Cherokee finished.
"This isn't good." Cherokee remarked, even though he knew no one needed to say it out loud. "... But who aren't we supposed to be fooling with?" He asked Enzo, his face serious. "How can we lay low if we don't know who we're laying low from?" He looked away thoughtfully. "We may be out of the game for awhile." He said at last.

((Haha sorry J! *dodges giant mallet*))
"No, it's not good." Enzo agreed, tugging on the ends of his hair. His shoulder was hurting. So was his jaw, from just how hard he was clamping it. Oh, such pains. "I think though," he started, looking thoughtful, "That they were at a club... I don't know, isn't there a techno place not too far from here?"
At Cherokee's other questions, Enzo sighed, "I don't know. Whoever it is though, knows about us... Me at least. And I don't want anyone else hurt... But we have to get that phone back. You're right. We might need to go AWOL for a bit. The boss won't like that, but he'll have to deal with it, yeah?"
He was pacing again.
"We should at least check out that club." His gut was telling him that was the place. No where else was that loud, and ran at that time of the morning. It HAD to be it. "But we can't do anything more than observe," His glance trailed to Emily, and he rubbed at the crook of his arm. Too much stress lately. Way too much. "We can't risk anything else more..."
So," he said finally, taking a deep breath, "Let's go there before that guy leaves. I NEED that phone back."

((It's alright. Just like...if you expect this thing to keep moving and not stop like the others...there just might be the possibility you have to post to do so. Yeah?
And the club is at night...so this will be kind of a time skip...if that's okay...yes it is...))
Amma fumbled around her dark closet. The fact there was no light in there and thousands else where was somewhat rediculous, but no matter. She finally found a black tube top and some capree jeans that had jeweled designs. It was the only thing suitable for a dance club...and if she didn't wear something decently fitted for such an event, Joker might make her wear one of his one-night-stand's outfits...and she'd kill someone before doing that.
Her blue and green eyes darted to the mirror and frowned at the bruises, a newly aquired on near her chin from getting into a fight and then scratches on her bare arms. The large tattoos on her back showed as did other scars.
"What the hell. I don't care. So someone notices I'm from Sting, I can kick their asses anyways." A confident smile made way on her face as she reached for the little make up she had and did her best to cover up the wounds. Afterwards she put some on her eyes, making the already startling gorgeous colors pop out more and then threw the make up to the side.
The cell phone rang just as she was putting on some boots, the id said "The King" and she let it continue ringing. She didn't want to bother with him. She then got into the car and went to pick up Joker.
((Dododododo driving driving driving wheeee...))
Both Joker, who was dressed in a black tank top and jeans, and Amma got out of her mustang and looked to the lit up club, lights were flashing inside and bodies were already moving. "I'm not dancing." Amma immediately warned and started to the door.
"I'm here to simply laugh at stupid people and maybe do some buisness okay?"
"Of course Lady Ashworth." Joker...joked, and opened the door.
"I need a smoke first." She waited for him to walk inside reluctantly before going against the brick wall and taking out her pack and lighter.
((I wanted to get them there...so we can make something happen. D: ))

((OK GO! *types* YAY TIME SKIPS!...?))
Cherokee hated night clubs. What he hated more than night clubs was spending his day time, precious daylight, at night clubs. The place, of course, wasn't open but there was obviously someone inside. It was obvious because they could hear voices and some music was pulsing, and why would there be security without anything to guard?
So, Cherokee did his best show of looking large, blank, and intimidating, but the security merely cussed them out and told the pair to beat it. So, Enzo and Cherokee instead hung around and waited until the nightlife kicked in to make their move.
Cherokee made his peace across the street from the nightclub, a pack of cigarettes in his pocket and a fading lighter. He always smoked more when he was stressed or agitated, and this time it was a mixture of both. He had already gone through most of his pack, and he was working on his next one with his fingers twitching it idly. He had had to stick Emily with one of his fellow boarders at his apartment and had found that placing her away from himself in one of the few times he got to see her put him in a really foul mood... even though he knew deep down it was the best thing to do for her.
Emily didn't object too much to the arragement and had hugged her father tightly as he had made his way out the door. He had to make a promise to buy her icecream for breakfast in the morning to make amends, and that had been her only qualm. She too insisted that Enzo hug her as well before he left, and had planted a kiss on his cheek. She made him promise not to stay up too late and then they had gone, Cherokee thanking his neighbor as he went. He had attempted to slip her a few bills for her trouble, but she only smiled and insisted that keeping such a sweet girl was no trouble at all.
It was dark and the club across the street was coming alive with flashing lights and bouncing music. People were beginning to move around too, the creatures and demons of the night coming to begin their lives of sin that died with the clensing light of morning and the deadly hangover. They roamed the streets and owned the roads. Red, orange embers glowed like ghost lamps in the city night and vanished in whirls of cigarette smoke. Women in no more than fishnets and revealing dresses began their dangerously flirtatous laugh and were dressed to get one thing and one thing only. Men followed quickly in their wake or were clamped to their shoulders smiling as wolfish as any wolf hunting red riding hood, knowing that the next morning they'd be gone with no regrets or memory of her face, how she smelled, only that for a night they were satisfied.
A woman strutted about her corner like a wild cat pacing her territory. Her sharp eyes focused on Cherokee for a moment and she beckoned him with a wave of her slender hand and a pursing of her full lips, but he paid her no mind.
Cherokee exhaled a plume of smoke and gave Enzo a sideways glance. "Wasting our time out here." He said after giving his a good four solid hours of silence.
((ahaahah, That was... fun...? GO ALA, GOOOO! Then yes, stufff can happen, WOO WOO and that was probably was the oddest way to describe the night life ever... *laughs*))

((Haha very strange indeed, Aka. O.o And haha I am sorry, J... I forgot it was my turn *smacks hand* but all is well now. ALL IS WELL I SAY! *shakes a fist and wonders how she's awake, because work WIPED HER OUT* So, I post, then go to BED HURHURHUR))
The trip earlier in the day had been wasted. Apparently, whoever had called was part of a private party or something, because the bouncers had no intention of letting neither Cherokee nor Enzo into the building. At least not until the sun went down. And even then it'd be a slim shot.
After they (regretably) dropped Emily off, they made a quick stop by Enzo's apartment so he could find a clean shirt and those pain meds he'd been given the night before. Then, the waiting.
And waiting.
....And waiting.
Enzo didn't count exactly how many eternities went by, but he knew it had to be quite a few. Cherokee had gone through nearly a whole pack of cigarettes, and the longer he waited, the more Enzo paced, muttered, fidgeted, and complained. His shoulder wasn't hurting as bad as it might have been, but it was enough to drive him into a rather foul mood. That, and he was trying, and very hard, not to take another shot of heroin. The stress from the day's happenings, and the not knowing of what might come was really weighing on his mind, and his body was screaming for some sort of relief on the matter.
He finally broke down and gave Cherokee a muttered excuse before darting into a nearby restaurant, begging to use their bathroom. He returned a few minutes later looking far more at peace, and a bit happier than was normal. Though, mixed with the obvious look of his high, there was a twist of guilt. He'd succumbed to his addiction again... And beneath the fake wave of happiness, he felt like just a little more of himself had been lost.
"Yeah, we are wasting our time out here."
But, that didn't stop Enzo from leaning lightly against the brick wall and chatting about nothing in particular until he spotted a familliar flash of red-black hair, and the tell-tale roar of a certain sports car's engine. Elbowing Cherokee to catch his attention, he jerked his head in Amma's direction. "Lookie what we've got here. I do believe," he said lightly, giving a wry grin, "That your little lady's shown up at the place we're trying to go. And," He added, in a tone that quickly sounded regretful, the moment the first words left his mouth, "She's with another guy."
Realizing what he'd just said, he clapped a hand to his forehead and groaned. The last thing either of them needed was for Cherokee to be upset, or focused in any way on Amma. There were more important - potentially deadly - matters at hand.
"Er, maybe she can help us in, yeah? I mean, the leader of Sting has to have some sway with these sort of people." He found his gaze trailing after one of the scantily dressed women before it snapped back to his dark shoes, a bit of a laugh coming with it. "THen maybe we can find out who took my phone, and give 'em what they threatened to do to US." He threw a fist into his open palm, wincing at the pain it caused his shoulder.
"Not to mention," Enzo added slyly, "I've never seen you dance."
And before Cherokee could stop him, Enzo placed his thumb and forefinger into his mouth, giving a sharp whistle, "Hey, Amma! Think you can get us in?!" he shouted, throwing a thumb in Cherokee's direction and then his own. "We've already been bounced out once, yeah? I don't think they're gonna let us try again." ((Haha, ummm, I hope that works! <3))

((Happy Easter everyone! Or to those that celebrate it! I dunno...do Jews celebrate Easter? Or is that just a Christian thing? XD ))
Amma's eyes followed each person that walked into the club and each person that was refused. All the skanky women tended to make her laugh and the sexist men made her roll her eyes or take another long suck on her cigarette. These people were so annoying, yeah she was used to them by now, having to deal with all sorts of people every day, but it was still annoying. Over the years she had grown accostumed ((I forgot how to spell that...)) to every type of person imaginable, learned to deal with them and how to get them to coopperate. In some aspects she was a people person...atleast with the dirty stuff, with getting to make friends and get on people's good side, that was a whole different league.
It didn't take long for a guy who had been bounced to come up to and wrap an arm over her shoulders. The smell of marijuana was strong on his breath, Amma knew every smell of every drug...she did deal them afterall. She then noticed his skinny arms and legs. He was probably skinny because he only did drugs all day, buy and sell them, not giving enough time to get out and run or do some sort of excercise.
"Hey baby, you get thrown out too?" The smell of his drugged breath made her glare at him and she in turn blew a long spew of smoke into his face. He coughed and turned his head. "Is that a yes?"
"Fortunately I did not. I'll promise you that I can get into any damn place in this city without even a knick." Amma said slyly and lifted the man's hand with her fingers as though he was slime...which he was. "Now if you don't mind I'd like to have my smoke without some dirty douche bag clinging on me and making me have pms a week early." She then smiled, her toothy grin wasn't inviting, it made the man shiver and get off of the shorter woman immideatly. "Go on, maybe you'll find some willing prostitute."
After he walked off Amma heard a familiar voice and she turned her eyes, not her head, in that direction. "Ah, s**t." She snarled to herself and turned her back to them, lowering her head and taking another long drag. If they were here how would something bad NOT happen. The best thing to do in this situation was either to run into her car and leave Joker behind, or go inside and hide. The last one seemed less noticable, so she threw her cigarette to the ground, grinded it with her boot, and started to walk to the doors.
"Hey, Amma!"
With this she lowered her head even more, cringed. Okay, so she was noticed, now what? It seemed rude to walk away, then again she was a rude person. But this was...different. With a deep breath she turned around with an awkward grin and raised a hand.
"Hey Dopey." She said simply and started to drag her feet to them. "Hey Big Guy." Her multi-colored eyes darted around them and then finally she got close enough for normal speech, instead of raised voices.
"I didn't think you two would be here at a place like...this." She said it in a disgusted voice and put a hand to her hip. "Haha, bounced eh? I wouldn't expect any more." All this time she had her eyes near Enzo, not wanting to look at Cherokee, not wanting to make some fool of herself, or do something that'd embarass her.

((Sorry for teh deeeelaaay... I didn't mean to hold anyone up. XP *types so she can get back to her homework*.. and I hope you were kidding about that jews celebrating Easter thing XD *giggles* Otherwise I'd worry.))
Cherokee nodded vaguely at Enzo's agreement, and using what was left of his cigerrette lit up another and started in on that one. "Glad you're not too high to notice." Was his remark, though there was no conviction in his voice or expression.
He then zoned out as Enzo continued to talk, tuning in briefly to nod or to shrug his shoulders. Though, then he found he was elbowed and drawing his cig from his mouth and exhaling, he followed Enzo's nod. He found a smile twitch briefly at the corner's of his mouth at whom he had pointed out, but that bled away quickly into a blank expression. He did not respond to the fact she was with another man. He merely sat and stared elsewhere, his cigarette left unnoticed and fading in his hanging hand.
It wasn't long before Amma was alone again and Enzo quickly began babbling as though he could make up for what he said, or somehow erase the fact that Amma wasn't alone... or just make Cherokee forget altogther. Cherokee went with it for his own sake.
"Yeah." He replied at first in a vague tone, but seemed to sober up. He snubbed out his cigerrette butt on the sidewalk and raised himself up to his towering height. "We'll do just that... without hurting ourselves." Cherokee remarked with a nod at Enzo's shoulder. It was meant to be a joke, but he wasn't smiling.
At the remark of dancing Cherokee answered quite plainly: "I don't dance."
He gave a little jump as Enzo quite suddenly beckoned Amma over. The tall man looked over his shoulder for a moment and then took his place at Enzo's side as he waited for her. He nodded at her hello and the name 'big guy'. For some reason, when she called him that, he liked it.
"Hey." He replied, his eyes fixed on her face with a look that could stare through stone. He paused. "It was Enzo's idea." He replied of her remark of a 'place like this'. "You can blame him." He looked her over a moment.
"You look nice." He said at last, and as though that was all that needed to be said, he traced back from the two to lean in the shadows of a brick building. Enzo would do the talking like usual.
((hahhaha, he feels mopey.))

Anyways, I won't make the post much, so Lala can still you know...not worry...))
Amma glanced up at Cherokee when he spoke up to her and she grinned. "I bet you were a bit curious too. Hmmm?" She said coyly. Her once gloomy face lit up a bit when he mentioned how she looked. It wasn't often someone did that. Well it wasn't often someone did that and not have sex as their motive. "Yeah...well...the guy I drove here wouldn't let me go out with my normal COMFORTABLE attire." The annoyance in her voice was apparant. "If I didn't wear something...somewhat skanky he'd make it even more so."
Her eyes watched him lean against the wall again and then the brightness dimmed from innocent happiness. "Umm...he's a friend...so..." She twitched her fingers and looked around. "He just wanted to take my mind off things ya know? I don't get much fun anymore...He's just wanting me to forget stuff and just chill. Nothing more...plus he came here to get chicks in the first place."
And then scilence filled in as she waited for Enzo to drag them along or say something that'd make her move and get off the topic. The nervous and wound up feeling made it uneasy for her to do anything. "Yeah..."

"...Dopey?" Enzo questioned, mostly to himself, because Amma was discussing her surprise at seeing them. "Yeah, we didn't think we'd be here either. I just learned anyway that Cherokee doesn't dance."
"Oh, so he's a friend tryin' to cheer ya up. That's nice of him..." Enzo said distractedly, watching the air just above Amma's shoulder, almost as if he were hoping to see something appear there. Maybe the Great Gazoo, or something equally as green and irritating. Or maybe he was trying not to focus on the fact that Amma DID look nice.
"Good to know you don't try for the skanky look," he said lightly, running a hand through his hair, "Means you have a little bit of a brain." ...He was potentially insulting the leader of the gang that was the main rival of his own. He wondered why she hadn't figured it out yet.
But then Amma started muttering about how the other guy was just a friend and out looking for chicks and other such things when Enzo piped in, "So think you can get us in then? Cherokee was wondering that too, weren't ya?" He glanced over at said man, then continued, "There's someone in there we're looking for, actually... He was in there earlier today, and as far as we know, hasn't left."
A shadow crossed his face and he added, "I think he's got my phone," In a tone that far surpassed any normal worry over a lost cell phone. "So let's go in there then," Enzo said, brightening, hooking his arm around that of an invisible woman, and started to cross the street. "Put in the good word for us, eh Amma? Because I really don't like the way baldy over there's lookin' at me."
That said, he ushered the stoically silent Cherokee and Amma to the club's line, where he stood in wait to get in, tapping his foot and humming a tuneless song.
((haha er, tah dah?))

Amma looked at Enzo with cool eyes. "It was nice of him..." she began but before she could back Joker up he continued talking and she looked over her shoulder towards the crowd now near the club trying to get in or waiting to get in.
"Funny you say that, because I really don't think I have much of a brain anymore." She smirked mockingly at Enzo and scratched at her cheek idly. It was as though she were trying to call something upon herself. "I can get anyone in anywhere. Anywhere, anytime." Her voice lowered as she leaned back to crack her scared, tattooed back. "Someone you're looking for? You sure he was in there," she pointed over her shoulder to the club. "No one's allowed in there during the day."
A satisfied nod followed, however it wasn't long before the guy started again and began towards the club. When Enzo's back was turned, Amma sneered slightly and looked to Cherokee. "Well? Coming? You might wanna come and stop me from killing your little buddy." She laughed, obviously joking, before turning around and following after Enzo, pulling out her own phone and hitting a speed-dial number.
"I'm at the club, and you better show your pansy little a** so I can shove what you deserve up it." She hung up immediatly and tilted to the side to see past the line of people waiting. "Opening day is always a b***h...come on." Motioning, she walked to the front of the line and whispered something to the bouncers who let her in and looked over to Cherokee and Enzo.
"Get in there before we change our minds." The taller one grunted, folding bulging arms over his chest.

((YAY! I POST! YAY! Go go go... *runs in a circle and types*))
Cherokee was unable to stifle a smile that suddenly overcame his features at her explanation of the other man with her. He glanced to the side as though embarrassed with himself and then back to her with that same genuine smile, an almost glow relfecting from his face. It was probably one of the most obvious expressions he had had in awhile and one could almost hear the muscles in his face creaking from disuse, though it appaeared almost natural for him to smile in such a way.
He silently nodded in agreement with Enzo, and had to wipe at his mouth to make his smile vanish, though some lines about his eyes were still crinkled with his grin. "Yeah." He said.
Cherokee then watched as Enzo waltzed across the street. His mouth twitched into a smile briefly and he made to move after him, but Amma was speaking to him then. He raised his eyebrows.
"I guess I'd better keep my eye on you." Cherokee remarked and followed after her as she turned. He had the sudden urge to match her pace so as to walk with her, but she had whipped out a phone then and he remembered himself.
He stood by quietly and blankly as he always did when the bouncers looked them over and quickly admitted them... and told them just as quickly to get their asses in there before they thought better of it. Cherokee nodded his head and pushed passed into the door, pulling Enzo with him.

((Yes yes I'm posting again...but I just got back from seeing TWO movies, giving me so many ideas...I can't help it. *Disturbia and Shooter by the way...and the first part of Pathfinder...it was boring though...*))
Amma's eyes flickered around every which way after entering the club. Bodies moved about everywhere, and it only took a second for someone to brush past her shoulder. The distinct smell of sweat and liquor filled her nostrils quickly. Anyone not used to it would have gagged. Heat from surrounding people made her cheeks warm up, and the sense of having this sweaty, dirty bodies around her made it suddenly feel she needed ashower. Ignoring the discomfort she began to mingle into the crowd, looking around everywhere for Joker.
"Hey! Chica!" Said a familiar voice. Amma glanced up to see Joker jumping up and waving. Near him was four girls, all grinning stupidly and pushing themselves against him in a suggestive way.
"See you found the Bimbo population quickly." Amma said, eerily calm, and the statement caused the girls to hiss and move closer. "Oh settle down kittens, not gonna steal your sex. Joker is simply my accomplice." This made them ease up a bit, they were obviously jealous of the woman in front of them.
"He come?" Joker asked with a sly grin, his green eyes moving.
"No." She lied, not wanting him to see him or his friend...it'd make things more troublesome than they already were. "But I think Darius might be here." This time she whispered to his ear and moved away to sit down at an empty table. Her fingers twitched nervously and she stared at the people dancing. Just get out quickly after you find him, she began to think, that way we can skip the fighting and the running.
Her pulse quickened however when a group of men entered the club, green and black colors apparent to the trained eye, and the signs and tattoos making Amma's retinas burn with disgust. Her head turned and she shoved her back against the seat, took out her skull cap and slipped it on. Normally she would have taken them on, do some practice shooting...but lately her heart had been fleeing elsewhere...away from the thrill of violence and towards something more painful, not of physical pain, a greater pain.
"s**t s**t s**t." She muttered just as Joker slipped next to her and he frowned deeply.
"You want to get out of here?" He questioned, hunching over and glarring at the group that was now spreading out and talking to some other women.
"Not yet."
"Just give the sign and we'll bust."
"I know."
((you guys can control them too if you want...the gang members anyways, feel free to make up a reason they're there or something...don't worry about me. x3 I don't care. ))
