Kat shook her head, and wiped away some of her tears. "Don't apologize, I didn't know. And I'm sorry for yelling. I know where you're coming from though. If...I show you my scars, then will you promise not to freak out? Someone I trusted tried to kill me too. And..They almost succeeded. And to see that someone did that to you worries me, because I don't know if you realize it or not Cameron, but I'm dangerous. And I want you and Mom to realize that fully. We went to the store today, and as soon as I smelt that raw meat, I was there. I almost lost it. I almost let my instincts take over and I was seconds away from letting my fangs out and bloodlust take control. If it wasn't for Mom scooping me up, I could've killed everyone in that store. And then when I chased after Damien, who was scared away by Mom, these teenagers came up to him and they threatened to hurt me. I could've killed them too..But Damien saved me and scared them away. And...That made me realize how...Dangerous I am..I don't want to hurt you...So I want to show you my scars...So that...If I do...Attack someone...You'll know where to push or cut me or hurt me..To stop me.." she said, as she looked him in the eyes.

"Kat..." He said trying to take in all of this information at once. "I couldn't imagine hurting you. I have already told Mom that you are potentionally dangerous, but she doesn't believe me. Kat, I will not hurt you, but I will help you the best I can. You will always be that worried little girl that can't stop helping me." Cameron moved his hand over to hers and then said "I'm ready for anything."

"I know, but...Alright then. I trust you, Cameron. But. If I do lose it, and if I do become dangerous," she said, cutitng herself off for a moment, as she thought about what she was saying to make sure she wasn't repeating herself. "Then don't let me hurt Mom or you. If I lose it, then I want you to run as far away as you can from me. I couldn't bear to know that you were hurt by me." she said softly, closing her eyes for a moment and taking in a breath to calm herself down. She looked out the window to realize that soon it would be dark, and soon she would be seeing Damien. She held out her other free hand to him, and gave a soft smile, "Friends?" she asked, sniffling and stopping her crying. She was glad that things could be worked out after all.

"Always." He said as his msile became soft and warm as he slowly reached into his pocket. he rummaged around and held out a small bracelet that said "Our Little Psycho" Cameron handed it to her and said "Anny made it for you, she was worried about you." He then moved his hands back a small bit as he continued "Most of the nurse's are. They think I can't "detain" you."

Kat looked at the bracelet and she smiled, and even laughed, she couldn't help it. She shook her head slightly, and now couldn't believe that one point in time she wanted to hurt Anny. She slipped the bracelet on and smiled weakly, "It's...The best gift." she said softly, another laugh coming from her. "I imagine they are so worried about me." she said, rolling her eyes slightly. "And they think they can do a better job at detaining me? Wow...Since when have they been so...Confident?" she asked, laughing slightly. She looked at the bracelet and then back up to Cameron, the sun was setting. "You should be getting to sleep soon, Cameron. I'm sorry for stressing you out so much. " she said softly. "I also wouldn't mind a little time to just lay down too." she said softly, though it was just an excuse.

"Actually, Anny and I were hoping to catch a movie. She should be here soon." As he spoke, he heard the doorbell ring and he laughed a bit. "Speak of the devil. Don't stay in the dark all night." He then got up and walked to the front door. He slowly opened it to see Anny in some very casual clothes and... makeup! He walked out with anny shutting the door, and that was exactly when Damien made it around the house and knocked on Kat's window. "Kat." He said in a loud whisper as he looked to make sure he wasn't seen.

"Oh...Okay! I won't! Bye!" she said waving frantically, almost falling over actually. She jumped at the sound of knocking and turned, a smile instantly coming to her face. Kat opened the window, and smiled, "I'll be out in a minute." she said softly. She then went to the door and called out, "Mom! I'm going to bed! Goodnight!" she said, just loud enough for her to hear. Kat then picked up Jack and pulling a cookie out of her pocket, managed to get him into the bed, and managed to get him to change so he looked like her. This way if anyone came in, it would really look like Kat was asleep. And with a smile, Kat climbed out of the window and landed on the ground, closing it behind her. She then took Damien's hand in her own and smiled, "Let's go." she said happily, as she looked around. Tonight, would be fun.

"How about I show you some of my favorite spots?" He asked her as he smiled over. His canine teeth were now longer and pointed as his smile was oddly vibrant. Mom heard their voices as they whispered back and forth and simply shook her head as she said "Love is a strange subject." Damien's eyes were red, but not slit as he could see clearly through what was coming to be night.

Kat smiled, "Alright. That would be...Wonderful!" she said, though she kept her voice low. Now not being afraid of hiding her true eye color, she let her eyes change back to their normal, dark violet color, and she smiled, even letting her canine teeth show a bit. She felt so...Free around Damien, and she loved the feeling. She took in a breath of the fresh air and exhaled, gripping his hand slightly tight, but not too tight, just tight enough for him to know she was there. She gestured for him to lead the way, and looked around, the night time was so...Beautiful.

He walked with Katherine as they slowly made it to a rather large tree. It had many thick branches, and Damien quickly made a tremendous leap and grabbed onto one of them. He held out his hand though as courtesy of Kat. He enjoyed every second of being around her. She made his heart flutter, and every time he made her happy or relaxed he would find out something new about her. he loved the fact that she had long canine teeth, and he thought her violet eyes were simply the most beautiful thing he had ever seen.

Kat looked to the tree, it had to be the first tree she'd seen in this town and was glad to know there was some alive vegetation still here. Kat smiled and took hold of his hand, smiling brightly. She couldn't help but smile, she just couldn't hold the happiness back. She loved being in his presence, she just couldn't understand why she felt so...Light and weightless, like all they were in a shell together, and nothing bad could get in, all the good was there, but nothing bad. She forgot all her troubles when she was with him, and she didn't want that feeling to ever leave her. It was like a wonderful dream.

He slowly clibed to the top with her and sat on the highest branch. He could see the whole town from there and he smiled as he said "This is one of my favorite spots. I can always watch over everything from here." He slowly helped Kat up and then leaned over to her and put his head on her shoulder. His hand wrapped around her's and he then said "I just wish it was always this peaceful."

Kat pulled herself up through the branches, she hadn't climbed anything in a while, let alone a tree, so this was a first for her, but she caught on quickly. Kat looked around, it was absolutely stunning it was, and she couldn't take her eyes off of all the wonderful sights. All the pretty colors and lights, the noises and the smells. She then felt his head on her shoulder, something that was also a first for her. But she reacted normally, and just smiled, her hand in his, and her other arm wrapped around him loosely. "It's beautiful, Damien." she said softly, leaning her head on his slightly, as she looked out about the city. She felt like she was on top of the world, and she loved it.

Damien perked up as he heard a twig snap. He slowly raised to see a group of teenage boys with bottles trying to hide from him. He quickly heard the small whoosh of air as a bottle was flung at him, and he turned around immediatley and grabbed it. Slowly his ears started to come in, and dog ears began to sprout from the top of his head. Though they looked a little like cat ears. He quickly grabbed them realizing that he had just used his sense of hearing, but past the human boundaries. He was slightly shocked as he knew his ears wouldn't change back to normal for the next two hours. he quickly put his hood on and dropped down from the tree branch. He landed onto the ground, making a small wake as he was so high up. He then began chasing them off, not trying to hurt them. Soon they had all fled and he climbed up back up the tree with his hood still fastened tightly over his ears.

Kat heard the twig as well, but she didn't change, she just had an accute sense of hearing. She jumped when he caught the bottle, she hadn't even seen the thing yet. She was disgusted by the teenagers' behavior, and didn't really understand why they kept persisting when they knew, that clearly, Damien could beat them all. Though she was glad he didn't hurt them and just chased them off, and was even happier when he was climbing back up, for she found it quite lonely up there all alone and missed his presence. She held a hand out to him, and smiled, though she was quite facinated wiht his ears, she decided not to ask. Now if it were Kat being the one to have to chase them, they would most likely be in peices, and she was glad that it wasn't her, she didn't want to lose control, not when everything was going so nicely.
