Hahahaha that is so awesome!!
I always went to Hard Rock when I was younger for my birthday, only because the waiters would sing for you and give you a huge ice cream for dessert with a .. damn, what's it called now.. this thing.
But anyway, happy birthday yesterday Dave! Hope it was full of uh.. Mexicans, sombreros and cream on the nose! >.>
@Kayla Noelle: No way! A photo of a cool kid? Don't tell me you picked those clothes yourself! :O

Forgedawn Dave It's my birthday! biggrin I'm going to go with some friends to this awesome Mexican restaurant in Durham called Torero's, where if you tell 'em it's your birthday, they'll come out and bring you churros, sing to you in Spanish and then put a big sombrero on your head, smear some of the whipped cream from the churros on your nose, and take a Polaroid of you. I have decided to make this an annual birthday tradition for me. Here's last year: [[Image Removed for Quotation]] I'm terrified of places that do birthday things in general. (I think the worst I've ever seen is this place that makes you stand on a table while they put a bucket on your head) I've managed to talk my parents into making some of my favorite foods instead of taking me out to places since I was about fourteen sweatdrop I hate those crazy restaurant birthday celebrations. It's been done to me only 3 times: once at a Chinese buffet, once at a place called Willie's Icehouse (actually just a burger and fish place), and once at BeniHana. At Willie's, they come out banging pots and pans and screaming and yelling, then they have you stand up on your chair so everyone in the place can see you, then they announce your first name and how old you are now, and then finally, they give you a little cake slice + ice cream for all your embarrassment. BeniHana's was great, though, the only one I actually enjoyed, probably because there wasn't screaming and banging. I got this awesome Japanese dessert and they took a pic of me wearing a fancy chef's hat. The Chinese buffet place surprised me, because the waitress lady sung the Chinese version of "Happy Birthday" and I got this strange looking brownie with whipped cream and some sort of Jello confetti. I prefer to spend my birthdays shopping with birthday money, then pigging out on freaking half of a whole Tres Leches cake *drools*. The actual lunch or dinner doesn't matter; I'm not big on structured meals anyway and pretty much everything is my favorite. @ljosberinn: That's a sparkler 3nodding EDIT: Oh yeah, hehe... @Dave: Happy birthday!

Anyway, then you have the same birthday as my little brother! He's ten years old today and there was a crazy group of kids in my house all day. I and my other brother (14 years old) just retreated into the garage-room and played Kingdom Hearts. :3

Anyway, then you have the same birthday as my little brother! He's ten years old today and there was a crazy group of kids in my house all day. I and my other brother (14 years old) just retreated into the garage-room and played Kingdom Hearts. :3 It's the different time zone's doing this. I guess Gaia only shows your local time based on your time zone. @Kayla Noelle: No way! A photo of a cool kid? Don't tell me you picked those clothes yourself! :O no, my mom did :3, but I liked them... My mom has a good fashion sense and is usually above the times, starting the fads.... I kind of have the same thing but at that age I kind of didn't care sweatdrop right now I am trying to brign back spandex pants with the footstraps on the bottom I was a pretty good kid.... I really studied(consintrated on) things like movies, didn't mind practicing things or going over something again till it was right like dancing(wanted to be a ballerina >.> wink , had a very good memory, consintration and treated everything as a meaningful thing... xd I still do.... I also rarely complained but that changed when I got older having OCD and all >.>........and I am not a ballerina...

@Kayla: Spandex! rofl That's so cool. I think anyone can be a trendsetter if they just feel confident enough about the things they wear or do.
I was a goodie goodie when I was younger as well, got straight nines and tens in school and did everything I was told. The teenage years changed me dramatically and I've never been the same since, much to the disappointment of my parents xD
You have OCD? I think I have a bit of it as well.. Never been diagnosed though..
@Dave: Are you sitting in the same place or something? That yellow arrow was on the other picture too, wasn't it? :O

Eccentric Iconoclast I'm fairly sure that I have OCD myself. mad D It would explain a -lot-. I sometimes wonder if everyone thinks they have OCD... I always used to insist that I must, except I don't compulsively handwash or anything... and just about everyone I know has at some point said to me that they think they're OC... I do tend to sort of twitch and stuff. I'm told I'm probably just hyperkinetic. That basically means I'm just plain hyper, except instead of running in circles, I twiddle my thumbs and bounce my legs and look around the room while still paying attention to what's going on.
