Circle of Magic Series - Tamora Peirce. I know, they're kind of juvenile, but I love the story. biggrin

I just finished reading Vampire Knight. The plot's pretty good, but I didn't feel the conclusion was very good. It ended very loosely, for lack of a better word. I also just got into the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson, and am about to start the third book called Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports. I'm also currently reading the Warriors series by Erin Hunter, and I'm on the New Prophecy part - just about to begin reading Midnight. I'm also eagerly waiting to read Brisingr, the third part of the Inheritance quartet - but for some reason, the library catalog won't let me place a hold on it...

Just started The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E. Lockhart. Right now, I'm on page 61.

So far, it's okay. It's about a pretty, smart girl named Frankie who goes to a boarding school filled with hot guys, which tells you essentially all you need to know about the plot thus far.

But apparently there are pranks and criminal activities in future chapters, so! I will continue reading. xD

The author keeps on trying to be witty, and kind of... Failing. Lockhart's trying too hard, I guess, is the best way to put it. After you get into the book, though, it gets less annoying, and the writing style is actually enjoyable once you get used to it.

I'm currently reading A Ghatti's Tale: Finders-Seekers and Goth Craft by Raven Digitalis. I like to mix up the fiction and non-fiction a bit.

Since summer break started, I've had way more time to read books, so I'm plowing through a stack each day xd .

So I've recently read (actually, finished yesterday):

Skeleton Key by Anthony Horowitz (reread, actually)
Lord Loss by Darren Shan
Cross Your Heart, Connie Pickles by Sabine Durrant
A Field Guide to High School by Marissa Walsh
Hope was Here by Joan Bauer (I think that's the author's name)

and I'm starting to read:

Alex and the Ironic Gentleman by Adrienne Kress
