"I been giving myself some alone time, Spidey," commented Elisabeth as she helped the young girl to her feet.
"Hey, are you okay? It's alright, I won't hurt you." Elisabeth made sure her voice was as serene as raindrops falling into an open lake. She glanced at the girl a bit, making sure no serious injuries took place. She saw nothing as far as the eyes could see. The small silence told Elisabeth that the girl was either too scared to talk or too worried over what to say. What can you say in a situation like this? I am fine, goodbye?
"I saw you the other day; someone was following you." No response at that moment. "I am sorry, where are my manners. My name is Elisabeth Braddock, but my friends call me 'Betsy'. What's your name?"

To Spiderman's comment about being a runaway, Traci shook her head no, but she didn't correct him seeing as how she didn't feel the need to explain her past to him.
When Traci began to walk away, she ran into someone and fell back, landing more on her back than on her butt. She was dazed for a half of a second, and then she looked up, seeing a woman that clearly recognized her...but Traci didn't know who she was at all...
Traci groaned as she was helped up by the woman. "I'm fine." she mumbled as she began to dust her clothes off, unwrinkling them. "It was my fault..."
So Traci had never met this woman before...the woman had seen her being followed.
"I'm...um..." Traci debated whether or not to give them her name. In her head, she shrugged. Spiderman was a hero and this woman seemed nice enough...so..."I'm Traci."

"Traci, that's a nice name."
Elisabeth smiled at the girl. It was sincere. No strings attached, just a simple genuine smile. Elisabeth remembered Spiderman still standing there. She smiled at him as well. She was pretty sure he would say something witty about her lack of proper communication or something. She couldn't help but giggle a bit at that thought.
“It’s okay, your safe, Traci.”

"Is that Sam?" though Spidey, looking across the street.
He scratched the back of his head, his Spidey sense was buzzing like crazy, and turned back to the girls, just as the young unknown introduced herself.
"Uh...," *scratch scratch* "Hi... listen I gotta uh....... pee." Spidey shot his web line to the nearest high point, and tugged himself away, he put down the meat and drinks on a nearby bench before disappearing in the forest of skyscrapers.

Zero saw Spidey swing quickly out of sight as he left the laundry place. He threw his bag over his shoulder and stepped around the side of the building, into a tightt, dimly lit alley, there wasn't a big enough shadow nearby to 'port from.
He jogged to the other end and ran across the open street, turing his eyes skyward every now and then trying to spot Spider-man. He found another small alley across the street, it was occupied, he couldn't risk being spotted.
As he turned the next corner he bent light around himself and became invisible, he doubled back and headed directly for a dark corner, as he stepped into the shadows he saw the darkness rise around him. He stopped briefly to put his costume on, and started looking for a rooftop exit.
"Damndamndamndamndamndamn..." he chanted as he streaked between shadowy portals, and then he saw one, he ran back to it and ran straight through, still invisible and intangible to boot.
Which was a good thing, the Green Goblin stood only a few feet from him. He'd never really tried this before, but he'd seen this Vision do it in a news report once, and he had pretty good control over his density.
He picked one of his test bombs from their canister and smashed it, with a barely tangible hand, against the wall. Thankfully the bang didn't really affect his ghostly ear drums, and the lenses of his mask drained most of the flash, he became solid as he shoved his body towards teh Goblin, slamming him against the wall, turning back to intangibility as the Goblin swung a clawed hand behind him, Zero reached into his chest, and let his fingertips regain some of their form. The Goblin tensed up, and then went limp, dropping to the floor at Zero's feet.

"The Goblin. You're pretty bad-a** for someone so new at this. That looked like it hurt." said Spidey, to the kinda-see-through Zero, from high on the wall.
"I felt him here from across town, I wonder why, I usually don't react so badly when there is so much distance between me and teh bad guy." He stood up and walked down the wall, tilting slightly as he made the 90 degree transfer from wall to rooftop.
Spidey picked up the Goblin's bag and rifled through it, he pulled out a bomb, a big one. "I bet he was aiming for the school across the street, this thing would have levelled most of the block! But why here? It's just a school." Spidey stopped as he saw the banner hanging over the door, 'Super Hero Day', scores of kids in Captain America uniforms, painted green with ripped pants, hell, there was even a Thor or two, and the place had more than its fair share of dinky Spidey's. "Cause of this? Cause of some kids dressed like me?! You sick..." He lifted the head of the unconscious Goblin, pulling away the mask in his hand, "What the..?!" It wasn't even the Goblin... It was... just some unfamiliar guy in a very familiar costume, he had something in his neck... Spidey tugged it free, it was jammed in the guy's skin. A small disc, with, amongst its many features: a small Goblin face on the back of it, and a large, painful-looking needle. As Spidey began to say something, it exploded.

Zero, along with Spidey, was slammed back by the mini-splosion.
"Awwww, crapola!" the big daddy bomb had started ticking... "The mini explosion was probably a way of making sure it went boom, maybe the shockwave from it set off some kind of trigger?" "We gotta get it out of here." said Spidey, taking it in his arms and rising to his feet.
Zero swiped it from his grasp, "I can turn intangible, it won't touch me, you'll die." He lifted off and flew in a tight arc over the city, keeping his eye on the timer, he had less than 8 seconds...
He rose above the skyline and further, he started to feel the cold of the high altitude, his nose started to bleed, he was accelerating far too quickly.
5 seconds...
His vision started to blur, mostly because of the speed. He had passed into nigh unbreatheable air. He turned semi-incorporeal, still keeping his hands solid, to hold the bomb, and kept rising.
Then he stopped, very suddenly, in a way that made him see stars. He hadn't been as intangible as he'd thought. He dropped from the sky, surrounded by flames. He was still dazed from the fast flying, he was lucky he still had a head after that boom, he'd normally be freaking out, what with all the fire, but he was more concerned with the approaching ground.
He was nearing the water, his flight hadn't been directly upwards, he was over the river. He reined in his emotions and tugged on his mental flight switch, he didn't exactly fly, but he stopped, cushioned by the air beneath him. He tried to stand as best he could but he rolled backwards and began to glide towards the water. As he reached the water, his semi-intangibility allowed him to remain afloat, he drifted like a raft for a while, until he could think straight and grumbled "Owie... next time I let Spidey take it..." He managed to hover above the water and flew, a bit haphazardly towards the shore.

As he dropped from the building, Spidey kept is eyes on the trail of smoke that was Zero. He let his spider sense take care of avoiding danger, Spidey kept his eyes on Zero and focuses his mind on getting to him before turned into pavement pancakes.
As he rounded a building overlooking the river, Spidey saw Zero settle on the water's surface, he lifted off his wet landing pad after a second, and flew towards Spidey, he looked kinda like a fly, buzzing from side to side a little, almost drunk, he looked like a drunk fly.
As he got closer, Spidey aimed a web at his hand, and helped him find his way to him.
"You okay?"
"I'm...Yeah..." said Zero, collapsing like a house of cards. As Spidey lifted him onto his shoulder, he turned back and forth a little, to work out which way his home was. Zero looked okay, minor cuts, probably a little concussion, he could patch him up and he'd be fine for a while, he'd have to get himself checked out at a normal hospital eventually though. He swung out and headed in the direction also known as 'home'.

Spiderman just flew off like dried up leaves against the wind current. Elisabeth wondered why at first, but figured he had someone else to go save. She looked back at the girl. She seemed a bit confused, maybe even scared. Sometimes it's hard to actually read people and know exactly what they are feeling. She smiled again.
"Do you like latte? My treat."
Elisabeth felt oddly friendly today. Maybe it was the image of the girl running away from that guy the other day. People can be so cruel. Elisabeth started to talk in the direction of a nearby coffeeshop. She turned around to face Traci again.
"Well, you coming or not?"

Seeing Traci’s hesitant vibe flash out of her body, Elisabeth went with her gut. She grabbed the girl by the arm, gently.
“Come on, it will be fun.”
Elisabeth motioned the girl a bit as she continued tugging her arm toward a near by coffee shop. The scent of coffee decorated the environment as goodies were displayed on the counter to accompany any warm beverage. Elisabeth looked at the menu plastered on the wall. It was painted on.
“I think I would like a small mocha latte and a peanut butter cookie. And you?” Her smile still scribbled on her face. She waited for the girl to say something, anything.
“Don’t make me guess what you like.”

Zero sat up, his head felt like it had blown up.
He looked around, Peter was sat at a table nearby with a red head.
"Peter, you can't just keep bringing super people here we'll..."
"MJ, the guy just got blowed up. What was I supposed to do?"
Zero leaned back again and gave himself up by groaning in pain. Peter and MJ looked round at him.
"Hi folks..." he sat up again and twisted his feet off the sofa.
"Hey, you feeling okay?"
"Yeah, a little rough, but I'll be fine."

((Those other guys are way behind, we need to start moving the story on))
Zero closed the door behind him and threw his bag with his slightly tattered costume across the room onto his sofa, wincing slightly as he swung his arm. He'd be out of the game for a few days while he healed.
He went into the bathroom and started the shower, as he undressed he noticed something in his closet, a red glow of some sort. As he stepped towards the open door, several Hand ninjas burst out of the closet, swinging blades in his direction, he couldn't fight, he turned and dove towards the bottom of his bed, letting the deep shadow under there pull him into it.
"Crap."
He sat still for a while in the cold void, topless and shoeless, before he turned away from the, now closed, portal he'd entered it by. He stood and walked away, he couldn't go home, at least not for a while.

I'm back though xD)) "You don't have to treat me like a child..." Traci snapped, not meaning to sound very rude, but succeeding anyways. She paused after thinking what she was saying. "Sorry." She looked around at the coffee shop. She was never really a big fan of coffee. But she did like the chocolate chip cookies they served here.
"I'll just have one of those...if you don't mind..." Traci mentioned, pointing to a big fresh one over by the counter. She looked back at the woman, her lips curling into a small grin. "I'm a sucker for chocolate..."
Why didn't I try stealing something simple...like candy? She thought to herself. But noooo, I had to steal fresh meat to cook later...nice try, Trace, you ********>

((sorry, not a lot of traffic with the Tony Stark thing, and I had Megacon over the weekend))
Hearing a blaring alarm Iron Man runs to a computer.
"We have reports coming in about activity downtown. It appears a large group of metahumans are tearing up the store fronts. Class 2 mutants from what readings we're receiving. Hate to cut practice short, but we have work to do."
Iron Man preps the Quinjet for launch.
"Wolverine, Storm, bring the girl, a little on the job training may do her good. Deadpool, stay here...and don't touch anything."
Mocking Iron Man
"Stay here and don't touch anything. Who does he think I am? Tinker? I wasn't going to touch...ooh shiney buttons."
Deadpool walks away to stare at the flashing lights and buttons.
