Tormenta opened his eyes and surveyed the scene. So, trying to attack the neck was a bad idea. It didn't take long to decide that attacking the people on top of robot was smarter than trying to attack the robot itself. Slowly but surely, the bolts of lightning began to move downwards from the neck, making their across the body of the robotic dinosaur until they hit the tail. If anyone who was vulnerable to lightning was still on that beast in the next few seconds, they should get fried. ((I realise that this post isn't really all that clear, but basically I'm saying that every time the lightning strikes, it makes its way down the body until he gets to the start of the tail. So, one would strike the top of the neck, then the base of the neck, then the part of the body closest to the neck, then the one closest to the tail. Edit: I was writing this before Flare posted, so yeah, my bad. I guess it still kinda applies. sweatdrop ))

[CP USED:1] As soon as the marble popped out into James's hands it would continue right on moving towards Jacknife, picking up speed as it went. Jacknife would snag the marble out of the air and slide off the side of the dinosaur. He would slide down the leg and hop off just as he neared the ground to execute a neat little forewards summersault along the ground and break his fall.

Woo. Now what was it he was doing again? Oh, right... themightyjello Depending on what happened next he was prepared to cut and run. The lightning was a bad omen. Diving off of a robot onto concrete from 20 feet wasn't really the safest thing... which was exactly why James wasn't too keen on doing it. He was, however, keen on getting the hell off this thing and remembering a few faces along the way - for later. Adam, for being a jackass and trying to stomp his hand... a stomp which really ******** hurt, but didn't throw him off of the thing at all. Aiolos... who threw a knife at him. He hadn't gotten a good look, what with how busy he'd been, but considering the time lag difference in how long it takes to mash buttons compared to how long a hang-glider takes to cover eighty feet or so, a quick glance to the side would be all it took to see some guy playing with knives as he walked off. Throwing knives. ...regardless, getting off this heap of junk was definitely number one priority. He saw a line running from the machine to the ground, so he went for it, trying to slide down it with an arm and a leg hooked over the line that was still wedged in the lifeless teeth of the machine's head.
He was too busy trying to get the hell out of there to realize the other end was attached to Jack.edit: Oh, and seeing as Jack tried to nab the thing that had mysteriously popped into his hand; something that could be easily prevented by making a fist, he would instead find something else coming towards him. It was a gun. It was a pretty nice gun, actually. Pointed right at the nearest available soft spot on Jackknife's body. "That's rude, y'know."

Adam watched from a good distance as the marble popped from the control panel, and shortly after his grenade went off. Adam sighed, wishing he had figured out the puzzle and gotten a hold of the marble. But he had learned during his many services in armed forces, s**t happens.
Adam then looked to the west, catching Aiolos out of the corner of his eye. He swiftly ran in that direction at his full speed, and very quickly closed the gap between himself and his teammate.

Seeing as the marble was being pulled towards Jacknife with 200 pounds of force, James's fingers would probably break, and Jacknife would still continue on his merry little way.
((Frankly, I dont care too much right now. If you can come up with a good reason to keep it, by all means do so. And tecnically if it never moved you would have no idea that Jacknife was the one pulling it. James has never met Jacnkife before, therefore has no knowledge of any telekenetic powers.))

Wahoozerman Seeing as the marble was being pulled towards Jacknife with 200 pounds of force, James -would flying kick Jackknife, seeing as he was being pulled towards him with 200 lbs of force and it's pretty apparent that he was the cause of it... what with the little thing being sucked in towards the guy by no action of James' own? 200 lbs of force would tug pretty hard, but seeing as the thing popped right into his hand he'd probably palm it a lot quicker than someone could muster the telekinetic energies to pinpoint a marble and suck it through space with their mind. So if Jack kept pulling, he'd get a guy coming along with it, which is a pretty mean bodyslam. Jack was on the back of the dino too, as we would all recall. If that didn't knock the both of them off in a pretty harsh way, James would react as above, threatening Jack to quit it with the tug of war because the knife in the back was really ruining his mood.

Zen was a little shocked to see the beast go down so perfectly, Zen rushed towards Xallen who was already on the ground again, shrapnel and the like shot about but nothing hazardous hit Zen. As he reached Xallen he replied, "What's the situation now? Did one of you get the marble?"

Tormenta shook his head and let out a sigh as the storm abruptly died down, and he turned to Alm, who had recently appeared a little ways away. "I have my reasons," he said simply, answering the mage's previous question. "Would I be able to take a ride with you? I need to rest."

((I still dont see how 200 pounds of force in your hand dosen't at least knock you off balance, but I dont really care.))
The tugging stopped and Jacknife slid neatly down the side of the dino before rolling onto the ground to break his fall. "Don't lose that." He called up to James. "The Institute will want it." He yanked his cord out of the dino's mouth with a bit of telekenisis and it zipped back up into his wrist device.

Wahoozerman ((I still dont see how 200 pounds of force in your hand dosen't at least knock you off balance, but I dont really care.)) (( Oh, it does. Just that you pull something that's IN his fist, you're going to get the fist too. And the whole person with it. But 200 lbs is more than he weighs, so if you're pulling that hard it's basically on of those Batman zipline kicks or something, because he's flying straight at you. )) "..." Really... some people were just jackasses. A robot attacks him. Nobody helps. Then everybody jumps in, not to help, but because they're fighting over who gets to fight the robot. It was like these things were worth points or something, rather than just menaces to society! A guy kicks him. A guy throws a knife at him. And a guy tries to steal something right out of his hand. Jackasses....but, the lightning seemed to be stopping. Good, because all of that was really making him nervous, standing on a giant lightning rod and all. It wasn't a hard climb back to the ground, just a couple of footholds and then a short drop, but it was certainly a b***h considering someone had gone and cut up his arm over... what, a puzzle? Jackasses.Whatever the thing was, maybe the guy back at the institute would know. It seemed to be one of those magic marble things... but he still had no idea what they were for. And he still needed to find 2 more people before that guy would help him out.

Everybody seemed to have left...
It was eerily quiet...
There was a giant, dead robot dinosaur...
And the party was over...
"That died down pretty damn fast..." James muttered to himself, looking around but not really seeing anyone at all in the area. However, the sting in his right arm reminded him of what had just happened, and he figured it was best to head back before things got crazy again... they just might.
So he headed for the Institute, where his van was parked.

Well, Xallen didn't really understand how Jacknife couldn't get the marble before James, but he supposed it was alright. Things could have been a lot worse than that. However, as James descended from the robot, Xallen felt a need to apologize. It wasn't like James hadn't also been kind of a jerk, but that didn't mean an apology wasn't a nice thing. He called out to him, "Hey, sorry about all of this man. People can be real rough sometimes. Maybe we can work together in the future instead of fighting. Sorry." Back (with his super-stealth friends) to the construction yard.
