Ruevian Danti If it's really obvious who the guy with the red ponytail is, please shoot me because I can't figure it out. *blows you away* It's Alliance. Who else has long red hair, other than Kyraa, who is not a man? William.

I thought it was Will, though, from the weapon. He's pretty known for using a crossbow.

I guess was his recent red-braided hair that led us astray! gonk Maybe if Gendou mentioned earlier, somewhere, in the story that Alliance has a crossbow... Since when does he have LONG red hair? In all of his pictures, he either has short, silver hair or short, red hair. Moryera I thought it was Will, though, from the weapon. He's pretty known for using a crossbow. So just because someone has a crossbow, they're automatically Will? Like Grayed said, he's a kitsune. I'd think Gendou would mention ears and a tail in the description if it were him. And in this universe, it's just logic to assume more than one person would carry a ranged weapon.

It's Alliance. I should have thought the red hair and utter lack of fox features would have been a dead giveaway, but I suppose I was wrong.
From a writing standpoint, there was no need or opportunity for the viewpoint character (in this case, Graye) to learn Alliance's name - hence the detailed physical description.

Ya, I figured it wouldn't be Will. He's got a Harkonen crossbow. Very important distinction, that.

*reads* this is quite well done! I love the character interactions and the development of said characters!
Suggestion: use 'He' and 'She' as little as possible. At this point there are enough characters that that could get confusing rather quickly.

Wow. My thoughts:
1. Again, wow.
2. The character development is coming on nicely. I really love seeing all these people I know from a new perspective.
3. I also love all the vaque references to "him" and the torture dilemma was awesome.
4. What was happening to Danti while her friend was getting tortured?
5. I really love how you are handling the Alliance character. I think you got it perfectly.
6. Heh, Graye got caught pretty quickly, didn't she? I'm kind of glad, a chase scene would have really delayed the plot.
7. Will Katane ever be in the awesome story?
