Lord Drago looked towards the house in the forest that the woman and child had last been seen. "I have come here to inquire about that child." He said simply, ignoring their surprise somewhat and accepting their quite obvious assumptions. "It has unusually high power, something I myself thought came from an old man... but it is an infant female, to the contrary, and is being raised by a human. That, to me, is beyond confusion." He said simply. "... Do you know anything about the child?" Drago asked.

"Nope. I stumbled here by mistake." Saeska waved her hand as the party disappeared into the dense woods and onto the unbeaten trail to the city.

With a ripple of the water, and a faint orange-red tint in the sky Charlamane took off and flew back to the house to see a few standing around in the clearing, talking.
"Hey! What is it that you people want here? Number one, this is no place for pure bred demons. And number two, no more than three may be around this house at once. Please leave and no curse shall be set upon you," Charlamane said cockily. She stuck her nose up in the air to look away from Jayson still in the snow. "For your information, all the while Niyabi has been casting a chant, er, spell or curse upon you people. Only Jayson and I know the defuse spell. I hear her now, she is ready to set. Please leave and no harm will come to you."

Lord Drago, fuming at the woman's insolence, grimaced in anger. "No pure-breds allowed? What a shame, because I happen to be one and I'm not leaving since I just saved your asses from Exmortis that would have ripped you to ribbons." He said darkly. "I am not threatened by spells cast by a human, so begone. I am here for one purpose; to befriend that child. She holds the power I need to resurect my empire, and I do not intend on losing that opportunity to a couple of fools." He clarified with venom on his tongue.

"You think it was alright to leave that guy back there with those people?" Julia asked, looking over at Tiana.
We have no business there. We should leave them to their own means.
"She has a point Julia." Amy said, looking over at some of the people on the sidewalk. "And besides, what would we do? That guy can fight any monster that comes his way. He's a pure demon."
"But..." Saeska started but Tiana cut her off.
Don't say a word, Saeska. If people knew there was a human hybrid, they would kill it.
"Hmmm Interesting. I wonder why they did that? Wasn't it outlawed?" Adrian commented looking over at Amy.
"Of course it was. But people break the law all the time. You and much of the population wouldn't be here if it weren't for those first two people that grandparents tell stories about all the time."
"True... I like being here." She shrugged. "But how will the govy take it?"
The Government doesn't have to know. Just like they don't know about us. They know of gangs, us being fairly well known but as the Underlings. Not as Amy, Julia, Saeska, Tiana and Adrian.
Saeska turned her head and looked back over her shoulder. Her friends had helped coax her wings back in so she could see.
She hoped they wouldn't begin fighting.

Red smoke began to escape his nostrils as he waited for a response. After there was none, he huffed and muscled past the woman in his way.

"Oh, but this is no spell might I add!" Charlamane added when she was shoved aside. "This is a matter of great importance! Please! Don't go in there! The child was conceived for a reason! She is not yet ready to face the outside world that is filled with other mixes. Please, don't go in there. No one is ready for what you are."

Lord Drago stopped dead in his tracks. "So there is something very different about this child... what is it? Is it... a halfling? Is it more than a halfling? Is it a new breed alltogether? If it is a matter of me not going in there for such an urgent reason I will not go, but I simply implied that you didn't want me near her for any reason other than a personal one... it seems as if it is important I don't go there..." He muttered to himself after a while of talking to her as he turned around. "What is different about this child, and why is it so powerful?" He demanded softly.

Charlamane took a deep breath before speaking. "The child is.. a halfling.. and more... It was all an accident of course! But when it happened, none of us were ready for it. Jayson and I knew she would become powerful when she would be older. We tried to hide her power in ours, but I guess it's grown too large to conceive any longer." She looked down in the snow. "If you want to know what she is, you'll have to put the facts together and guess. Human female. Demon and Angel elders. Demon Angel male. Put it all together, and guess what she is." Charlamane looked up and glared at Lord Drago with a cold piercing glare.

Lord Drago, on the inside, couldn't conceive the idea of a three-breed mix in a creature. On the outside, he retained his enthusiasm by simply raising an eyebrow. "So she is all three creatures in one?" He asked slowly, still having trouble believing that something so... different... was in his midst.

Now Inou was reaching the outskirts of the city. He straightened himself out from running towards the large metropolis. The only thing to do now was walk around and wait until an angel or demon shows themselves to him. If they were one of the certain individuals who were out to destroy the peace between the unstable truce then he would not regret killing them on the spot.

Lord Drago took a breath before looking at the moon. He had always despised the moon on his home planet... it had killed many of his friends when the high tide came in. The moon on Earth was also much smaller that his planet's moon. Nevertheless, he hated all moons for their effects on other celestial bodies.

Saeska sat in the house that their gang had taken over. It still had heating due to the fact that they were stealing some electricity from a couple nearby homes. She lay upon the bunkbed that she and Tiana shared. Adrian and Amy were playing a cardgame in the corner. She just stared up throught the skylight. The moon was so pretty. It always made her want to go flying.
But the desire to sleep was more.

Lord Drago yawned as he began to walk away. He didn't bother waiting for any last-minute exclamation by the residents. He just found the nearest abandoned building, kicked open the door, cast a protection spell and collapsed on the bed.

Charlamane just nodded as Lord Drago walked away. She breathed in deeply again then remembered about Jayson. "Jayson!" she shouted before she rushed to his side. It took her several minuets to get him inside the house; with the help of Niyabi of course.
"What happened?!" Niyabi had screamed when she saw Jayson in that state--all burnt and badly bruised.
"He was shot by something..." Charlamane looked down. "I was too afraid to stay any longer than I did," she admitted shamefully.
