She glanced from left to right until she saw a bit smoke coming from the West and headed in that direction, careful of where she stepped.

As tired as she was, she felt determined to find people to help!

As she stepped closer to the smoke she saw that a ditch was burning, so she took up some dirt and smothered it.

She found a farm house near by and crouched down to tap at the door with her pinky finger.

There didn't seem to be anyone home, so instead, she decided to take a little peak through the window.

As she did so, she saw a dog curled up near a couch and a fire going in the fire place.

"Look! Fire!" She yelled, and without a single thought put in, she pushed a handful of dirt through the chimney.

Though the fire was put out, the room was now completely covered in dirt.

She saw a slight movement out of the corner of her eye; it was the puppy and it looked to be okay.

Quickly, she ripped off the roof and lifted out the dog.

She then tried to put the roof back on, but it just wouldn't fit the way it was suppose to.

She gave the open roof a calculated look, and then said "we don't need a roof on such a hot day, do we?"

So she tossed the roof aside, put the dog down, and went in search of more people to help.
