Fenrir glanced at her, eyes widen in surprise. He was a rather simple stallion, delighting in the present moment and have rarely thought of such......questions.
"Absolutely nothing?" he ventured, "Not even stars? If there were stars, maybe it'll be pretty...like the night sky. I wouldn't want to get to the night sky, but it's still nice to look at."
Why was she being so....strange. The stallion nudged at her curiously.

"Well...I'm not sure. Maybe there would be stars. Perhaps it would be like a place where the earth and sky meet at a reachable level for us earth bound creatures." Zhenga blinked at his nudge and gave another small giggle. "I'm sorry. I must sound really weird right about now. I don't know what came over me."

He gave a small laugh, "Earthbound! You can fly, with your wings........not really earthbound. You can even touch the stars if you wanted to.....have you tried?" he asked, earnestly wondering.
Fenrir smiled at her as she giggled, sounding nervous, "Nah....i've gotten used to your weirdness..." he teased.

"Know what I mean not what I say. No, I've never tried to touch the stars. It seems impossible. Even if it seems like you could just reach out and pluck one out of the sky." She grinned at his tease and raised an eyebrow slightly. "Well, I guess that's a good thing."

Chuckling, he moved into a trot and lightly stepped across the ground.
'Maybe you should try it then....fly high and touch the stars. Then you can come back and tell me all about it." He was sure Y'sril would like to hear it too.
There was a mountain trail cut into the stone, and he started ambling up.

"Maybe. But I'd rather stay on the ground for now. It would probably get quite lonely flying all the way up there." Zhenga smiled and started to move up the trail after Fenrir. Her wings spread a few times as she walked. The feeling of a light breeze ruffling her feathers.

"Because I'm here? You won't get lonely.......eventhough I can't fly with you , I'll wait here till you come back," he said amicably, hooves stepping slow and sure on the trail. A shudder shook through his body then and he sneezed, snorting loudly.

"As long as you wait till I come back then maybe I'd be more than willing to try and fly to the stars. But I still think it's impossible." Her eyes lifted towards the sky for a moment. Was it really impossible? It seemed so anyway. She watched the trail carefully so that she wouldn't slip. Not that it mattered really, but she didn't want to make a fool of herself by tripping. Her ears perked forward as he sneezed. "Getting a cold are we? Maybe we should find some place warm for a while. Don't want you to get sick."

Wrinkling her nose, he looked back and threw her a smile, nearly stumbling in the process. "I'm fine...oof....."
They soon reached a small plateau and he stopped, casting an eye over the view below. The forests and grasslands laid wide and serene. Then he looked at the skies and wondered if there were hawks nearby.

She gave him a questionable gaze. "I dunno. It looks like you're stumbling over your own hooves. Feeling a bit dizzy?" Zhenga grinned lightly as they moved a long. As they reached the plateau that over looked the forests below, she gazed at it all. It was almost as if she was flying in the sky, only, not. Her hooves were planted firmly on the ground. Silver eyes moved from east to west along the seam of the sky and ground. "Say FenFen. If I fly up to the stars and then come back, what would we do then?"

He sniffed the air, trying to catch the scent of birds in the air. There was still higher ground than this, winding up into the skies. At her question though, he flicked his ears, turning back, "Um.....We'll find new lands to explore...maybe that end of the world you were talking about. and then we'll come back and .....graze or something."
Fenrir shuffled side to side.

She raised an eyebrow before she let out a small giggle. A quick shake of her head sent her braids flailing about wildly. "Graze or something? It sounds like by the time we come back we'll be very old. I hope the trip doesn't take that long." She grinned and nudged his shoulder that he hadn't hurt lightly.

"Well......maybe we'll explore until we are old and wise soquilis......it will be fun.
There's so much to see, and beyond the boundaries. It may be that we won't even finish." He nuzzled against her and sighed happily at the thought of making a trip beyond the boundaries. "What do you think?"

Zhenga thought about it for a moment. It did sound like an exciting idea. To go wherever their legs took them. And see whatever sights the world could show them. Giving a small nod, she nuzzled his neck, nipping at small pieces of his mane. "It sounds like a good idea."

He gave her a boyish grin, "Well? What are we waiting for? Race to the top and we can see the whole world.....and decide where we want to go."
Giving Zhenga one small nudge, he turned around and pounded up the slope, whinnying along the way. He wanted to reach the pinnacle and stare down the whole world.
