I auditioned for Spike. I hate to see him not make an appearance. Once someone comes along worthy of the title known as Spike, I will gladly hand it over....assuming I get it. lol

Appearance: Lavaros' appearance seems to change often from the strain of keeping his Demons under control. However his normal appearance has black hair and red eyes and is slightly muscular and he is just a small bit taller the Buffy.
Roles, Relationships: Lavaros has been around the Scooby Gang since there incision yet stayed a fair distance away from Xander and Willow, fearing what they might think of his appearance. His main role with Buffy was a friendship that she seemed to endure with him, until Faith came and used his trusting nature to fight in the name of the Mayor until she slept with him and threw him out like trash. Lavaros got stronger, however, and during the time Adam came he had started to deal with stronger foes of his own, such as the original Vampire, Aven all the way to the king of hell himself, Lucifer. During the Glory arc, Lavaros seemed to provide protection from Glory when Buffy was away, until he was killed by the hell God when he refused to give her up. However, he was offered a chance to come back to life on the promise that he may never go to heaven and that most of his companions of the Preventer Organization would be killed in the process if he kept it up. And so they disbanded. During Willows addiction to Magic Lavaros' relationship with Buffy grew but he doubted it to go any further and neither did he let it with rumblings of the First in his mind, Lavaros turned away from the Scooby gang and travelled across Dimensions, looking to kill the First Evil and stop it's plans before they even went into motion. However, Lavaros was obviously unsuccessful, and open his return, he had been wielding a sword with the same name as the Seal, Danzalthar. However when he came back to the house he made sure that Dawn hated him because he felt like he had betrayed her completely as she was the closest thing to a Family he had since his owns almost complete obliteration. In the end, Lavaros was not around to see the Final Battle, and instead he fought two of his old Enemies, Nerve and Aven using the sword and his ultimate attack Final Destruction, to finish the job. When Sunnydale fell, Lavaros was assumed to have gone with it.

ok, very interesting, yes.
but with this particular rp, we've stuck as closely as possible to the actual storyline...
however, as long as you don't bring your colorful past into it, and figure out a way to blend in your original (as others have done) i think it's all good...
read as much as you can of the rp, or ask capt or mods for some help...

MODS? what's up, whaddaya think? Thats why I kept Lavaros' role in the actual series to a minimum. So he'd be one of the things that happen during the months that we don't know about, etc.

I'd be happy to try and catch you up once you join the RP.
About Lavaros, however. I just can't accept him. First of all, "Half Vampre Half Human." There is no precedent in the Buffy universe for such a thing, and going with canon it just doesn't make sense. As is, vampires are half human and half Van-Tal demon. Making one 3/4 human and 1/4 Van-Tal would need some serious 'splaining {Which you haven't done.}
The Preventer Organization? What is this? I have no problem introducing a new power into the 'verse {we're actually doing so at the moment}, but you should go over it with mods before you say it poof exists, which would mean more detail.
As for his entire history, it has to go. You claim you kept his role in the actual series to a minimum, but the fact is you made him there with the scoobies. It's just not how we work, he has to have a history seperate and not change the series. If you want him in Sunnydale working the background that's one thing, but you can't just add him to the old band of scoobies.
Fix all that and I might consent to your character.

Try to create your character outside of the Buffy atmoshpere. It helps create a more balanced character and helps you understand more as to what your character is capable of. Also, it's best not to change the Buffy story (i.e., TV show, comic books, etc) with things that have not taken place.
If you were friends with Buffy, then maybe a distant friend, like an old classmate or an aquaintance really.
The half vampire thing is a problem for me, just me. I believe that if you are dead, there is no half way point. Vampires are undead, therefore, unable to breed there own kind like humans. They feed to not decay. I just don't believe in half vampires/half humans. Sorry.
Nerve and Aven? Tell us more about them. Who are they? Why are they your enemies? What are their strengths and weaknesses? If we do throw them into the game, we want to know as much about them as we can to play them properly.
As for the organization, you need to tell us more than just "it existed". I agree with Torca. I have no problem with more people in the rp story, just make sure the info is explanitory.
I love the idea of a story developing and unfolding in a few months. That way, the game doesn't suddenly die out. That is always a plus for me.
