Lana doesn't think before she acts? Ha, I think she thought the thing through. The whole trapping Chloe in the cellar, it must has required some thought. She thought about leaving Lex, and then about marrying him when Lionel threatened her. If anything she thinks too much. I mean if she acts without thinking then she would have jumped on Lex the moment Clark dumped her instead of going to Chloe to talk about it. Then she tryed to speak with Clark before accepting Lex's proposal. She didn't say yes right away, ha, she thought about it forever. Lana isn't like Britney Spears here. She didn't go to Las Vegas and get married on a whim. The marraige was planned out because she wanted it at one time.
