He looked at her then he looked into the forest. It was a big forest that had the sense of magical power on every leaf and tree. But as the forest went on it got darker. They could see glowing eyes of creature in the darkness and the holes of the trees. Rian looked back at her. " Its up to you."

Kyna grinned, her eyes glinting with mischief. "Let's go." She started forward at a brisk walk, almost a run, and nearly slammed into a woman. "Hey! Watch where you're going!" she snapped, surprised.
Altheia blinked, stepping back a few steps. She glared at the younger woman. "You should be polite, young one," she hissed. She realized that this was the girl she'd been looking for, and a slow grin spread across her face. "Aren't you pretty," she said thoughtfully, strolling around the girl.
Kyna stared at the woman warily, following her as she circled her. Something clicked, and she realized that this was the summoner who had called up the beast from the other forest. She rolled her eyes. "Why do I always run afoul of the crazy ones?" she muttered to herself. Louder, she asked the woman, "Do you need something?"
Altheia's grin widened. "I do, actually." She made a quick motion with one hand, freezing the girl in place. Slowly, savoring the moment, she placed her hands on her temples. "You'll make a lovely new body," Altheia whispered to the girl.
Before the other woman could do anything, the wind howled around her, throwing dirt and, at times, rocks into her face. Kyna would have smiled, if she could have. The woman's concentration broke, and her hands went up to cover her face. Kyna could move again. She grinned and taunted, "I underestimated you. You're realyl quite defenseless, aren't you?"
"How dare you!" Altheia gasped at the girl's impudence. She teleported a few feet away, to where the wind wasn't pelting her. "I'll be back for you, just you wait."
Kyna sighed. "If I had a dollar for every time someone said that...." At her command, a small tendril of wind wrapped itself around the woman. She didn't even notice.
Altheia teleported to the other side of the forest and straightened her clothes. "Rude little brat!" she exclaimed, looking at the tears in her skirt. "She'll pay for that!" She flapped the fabric around her legs, and when it stopped moving, the skirt was whole and clean again. Satisfied for the moment, Altheia nodded briskly and settled down to plan how to take care of that girl.
Unworried, Kyna smiled at the spot where the woman had last been. She turned to Rian. "Well, that was fun. Shall we find her again?"

Rian wasn't sure what was going on in her mind nor in his own. " Whatever." He replied to her; meaning yes. He wasn't really afraid of this "summoner" , but he didn't think she was going to be easy either. Rian just decided he might as well go along with her.

Kyna walked deeper into the forest, going in the direction her wind told her the summoner was. She hadn't expected it to be a woman. All the women summoners she had known were gentle, kind, and summoned up creatures to help people. It was always the men who called up the evil, dark, nasty creatures that scared the daylights out of anyone who saw them. Not to mention the birds in the surrounding area. Kyna was so deep in thought that she didn't notice when something jumped out of the trees at her. She yelped and ducked out of the way quickly, her wind scolding her all the while.

Rian stopped behind her. " Whats wrong?" He said sternly; apparently, he didn't see what she saw. " We've got things to do. Hurry" He said. " Along with his temper, his patience was minimul. He just wanted to get this whole summoner thing out of the way. He just stopped and waited for her. I could be burying someone right now. He thought to himself.

Kyna looked at Rian for a second. She shrugged, and turned away. "Nothing, I guess," she said. "Let's go." She walked down the path, shutting her eyes to concentrate as she walked. She half-stumbled over a rock, and opened her eyes, unwilling to fall flat on her face. "If you don't want to be here, you can leave," Kyna remarked idly to Rian. Her wind led her further to the right, off the path. She followed it without thinking. "I'm perfectly capable of handling myself."

Rian pnodered her demand for a second. " I could, but I won't. For you see, just because I am Death god/Soul Reaper, doesn't mean I have things to do. Even us Reapers have to take a break sometime." Rian wasnt exactly sure if she knew what he meant, even he didn't understand what he was saying. He just followed her.

Kyna shrugged again. "Suit yourself." She stopped for a second, concentrating only on the wind. As she started forward, she tapped her tongue against her teeth worriedly. As she went deeper into the trees, she felt somewhat... disconnected from her magic. But that was impossible. She ignored it, and concentrated on the chill creeping its way up her spine. Kyna muttered softly, "There's something wrong here. It's different from the last time I was here." Gently, she tugged on a piece of her hair, a nervous habit that she'd long since broke herself of.
Altheia smiled cruelly and gestured toward where she sensed the girl and her companion were. The creature she had summoned stumbled obediently off in that direction, almost hitting a number of trees before it faded from her sight. Altheia sighed. "The price of good help these days has truly gone up." She wrapped a hand around her wrist, where blood trickled from a small wound. "I can't even afford it anymore, after a few years in a new body." She sighed again, and settled down in the leaf litter on the forest floor.

Rian looked at her, but didn't worry. " Eh. I am sure whatever it is its fine." He replied. He then took out a cig and smoked it. " Thats good."

Kyna knotted her hands behind her head, looking up at the trees. "I'm bored," she remarked, almost to herself. She watched the wind wind through the leaves above her. She tapped her tongue against her teeth, wondering why she was even going after the summoner. Finally, she stopped. "I don't wanna do this. I'm going back to the city." She spun on her heel and marched off, ignoring the protests of the wind.

Rian looked at her. " You're kidding, right?" He said to her. " We have come all this way and now your giving up. Well, whatever." He decided to shut up and just go with it.

Kyna pursed her lips. "Yep. I didn't want to come here in the first place," she informed him. "On top of that, I think she sent some monster after us, and I'm really not in the mood to fight. I'm not very good at it."

Rian moved his eyes the corner; just barley glancing at her. " Really? You mean we've just waasted all this time walking all the way here? Man. And I thought I was going to be able to kill somethin...Ah well." He sighed as he sheathed his giant Zanpakutoh (in other words, his sword).

She shrugged and smiled. "If you wait, that monster'll come eventually." Kyna shut her eyes. "I can't really tell how fast it's moving, but it'll get here pretty soon. Or you could just wait until it gets dark, and you'll have monsters galore."

" Naw. Its cool." He backed off the tree and stretched. " Well...its up to you...say...what was our main mission anyway?" He asked her.
