I don't think that your clothes have to match your music style. Especially since sometimes the clothes that match your music style are sometimes really expensive...I should know...I listen to metal and stuff like that...but I can't afford to buy the clothes that reflect it...and I don't think that people should yell at someone just cuz they're not reflecting their music.

Your style of dress does not have to reflect your music style. Dressing the way you always do everyday reflects you.

it shouldn't, cause my fave color is pink and green, and most people would expect an LP fan to be all black and depressing and whatever like. and besides i dress like a trailer park trash ho sometimes (when i don't care about clothes) eek omg, i did NOT just say that

I don't think it matters, I mean, I wear what clothes I have (which is mostly pink sweatdrop ) but I really like clothes from hot topic. What kind of music doesn't stereo type you into dressing a certain way you know. rolleyes

No, I don't think your clothes has to do anything with the type of music you like. If you like Britney Spears, you can wear darks clothes and if you like metal and rock it doesn't mean you can't wear colours like pink, yellow and purple. You wear whatever you like...

Not really but I have a habit with associating people with the way they dress to their music type. A girl in my class who loves pink listens Slipknot. I was really surprised. sweatdrop
Then again I make it clear the type of music I like. My clothes have skulls and nets and chains and all sorts of weird stuff. o.o; But I listen to mostly everything so I suppose not.

I think this is just stupid. If you want to wear all black and scary looking, while listening to christian music, then by all means do it, there is nothing bad about it! I love alll genres of music, but I do not dress like a rapper, gangster, prep, goth, punk, emo, or anything of the like.
In the end its your choice I think.

Haha guess I'm taking the unpopular side, I think it does matter I listen to LP and switch foot and other things so I wear clothes that fit my style of music b/c it reflects who I am and my personality. I listen to of bands but I'm somewhat emo and Christian so I like music with a lot of meaning behind it and my clothes reflect that as well as my hair style and who I am. (I got spikey hair kind of like Chesters biggrin ) Well thatz all for now Peace out yo, may want to check my xanga its been updated www.xanga.com/lostangelxero laterz all.

I don't think it should matter, I mean I just wear whatever, it shouldn't affect the music people think you should be listening to

But then again, it also should matter, the clothing you wear reflects your personnality, and part of your personnality is the music you listen to
