Heather messed about trying to find the couplets and handed them over. "Thank you." She looked up at the Banya bird who was alot prettier then Secra was.
This would make Amkia alot happier that was for sure.
"Oh, may I ask the breed and if they are... well bad tempered? I will take it whatever just we have one, Secra who has the worst temper in the world!" She smiled at the girl, chuckling a little.

Oqaia Elysia Kavanagh "Thank. Long year since study, only book words."
Lorelei tilted her head to the side, trying to recall information about the Light-bearing ceremony. Little snatches ghosted through her mind, but she was far from being able to pin anything down.
"Light-bearing?" she asked. Vanna squirmed a little, and she put the girl down. Her daughter immediately ran up to Clostho and tried to give her a big hug. She may not be able to understand a word those two were saying, but she needed attention, too! Clostho knelt down to take the little fae-like child in her arms in a great wide hug. She was not very familiar with children, and yet, loved them all the same. She spoke thusly, over the little one's shoulder, and nearly through her hair, so close was she to the beautiful, tiny creature. "There will be magical lights coursing through the city, and light-bearing gifts. The ceremony, I have heard, is different every time. Very lovely. Unpredictable." Vanna cooed and giggled, feathers twitching as she snuggled close. She liked this woman, even though she couldn't understand her! She paid attention to her~
Lorelei smiled at the two.
"Sound lovely," she said, smiling. "Any else should we wary of in city?"

Oqaia He hiccuped a very loud, buoyant laugh. "How delightful! I would love for excitement to find me- we always have to travel to find ours. Do you know of the festivals? They are All Saviors Day, and the choosing of the Peress! How exciting, exciting. And you are a gypsy! Oh even more so." He leaned down, bending his knobbed knees to try and come closer to the woman's height. "Do you enjoy gypsy life? I've heard it's very engaging. Do interesting things happen? Or are those myths that we've heard?" He was so cordial and excited, she could not help but grin. "Oh, All Saivors Day, I know that name," she said, thinking back years to when she traveled in the caravan with her pappa and mama. If she was correct, they once passed near a city that was celebrating just such holiday. She remembered the smell of the feasts wafting to her wagon at night. She hoped there would be feasting here, too.
She snapped out of her thoughts and spoke again to the expectant Fermer. "But..Peress, I'm not sure if I'm familiar with that term," she mused. "But to answer your last question...aye, those are no myths, the caravans are filled with mysteries and magicks, and we have our fair share of adventures." Marissa surprised herself in how easily she spoke to the man. She unconciously drew Kale closer to her.

Oqaia "Well, then an honorary Fermer, then," he said, patting her arm with a grandfather's hand. "Though I never saw a Fermer head into the city so blind to All Saviors Day- not to mention The Choosing, so I guess you're more gypsy at that. They're always so confused, poor darlings. You're all off in the world, never know what's happening at the heart of it." "That's true," she agreed with a soft laugh, "I hardly know what's going on most of the time. But I suppose this... Saviors Day and Choosing, will provide some interest. ...Excuse me, sir. I have to go find my son- he's wandered free." She gave him a lasting smile and turned with her skirt bundled in two fists at her hips and went to find where Pierre had gotten to.

Irina walked amongst her gypsy family, admiring the banya that a younger girl had for sale. Though she thought of buying one, she decided that Rydell and Oscar were enough fortune for the time being. The most recent fortunes were only slightly unsettling. Nothing like the one she'd received before they had been 'attacked' by the fae. Hopefully she could find this Crick person in the Port, and at least fulfill some of Kal's fortune.
She also watched as several members of the caravan greeted their new visitors, curious where these people were from. She was tempted to join in conversation, but instead, watched from the outskirts.
She'd let Kalpana out of her arms, telling the badger to stay close, or she'd be scooped up again like an infant babe, forced into her mother's arms at all times. The badger seemed to be agreeable, sniffing the air curiously as her dark eyes scanned the surroundings. She stayed close to Irina as she'd been told, unhappy with the thought of being held all the time. She wanted to explore and feel the dirt under her paws.

Silver wound her way through the crowd, guarding her children cautiously while taking care not to get separated from her fellow gypsies. Aisrhan clung to her right arm and Silver cradled Khevashi in her left. Both children were in awe of the colors and noise around them, eyes wide. "Mom, what's going on? What's happening here?" Aisrhan's questions kept coming, but Silver had no answers. She'd never been to this place and was unfamiliar with it's customs. She thought she had heard a few of her sisters talking about some kind of Saint's day or something, but she still wasn't sure. Momentarily caught up in the excitement, Silver nearly tripped over a woman who was bent over looking at something in the street. "Oh! Excuse me. I'm terribly sorry." When Silver looked down, an almost familiar face greeted her. Surely she had never seen this woman in her life, but she had been raised among these people. The Gelm would always be as family to her. "My goodness," Silver breathed. "Aren't you a bit far from home, friend?"
(forgive me if I'm infringing on anyone's conversation. I haven't had the chance to read back yet. ^^;; Just let me know if I am and I'll change my post)

DeArca couldn't stay close to the others because he continued his endless search for answers. However, endless was the wrong word as DeArca tired himself and sat down near a fountain as he sighed deeply. "Its no use, Ash! We've been at this for so long and haven't turned up one bit of information that even deems useful to us" He said
Ash squeaked and then made a leap into the water behind DeArca and swam around playfully. He squeaked again, moving his four feet quickly to keep floating above the water. His tail curled left and right, thinking it would direct him in the water.
DeArca smiled and splashed Ash with little waves as he sighed again. "You've got the right attitude, Ash....I wish I did too" He said.

Tamlin noticed Valelldia wrapping up with her endever and moved in closer to the caravan mother making sure she was within Valelldia's line of sight. so as soon as she was ready to speak with Tamlin, Tamlin would be imediatly ready.
from this vantage point at teh head of the caravan she looked over the other wagons and the few gypsies coming and going.

Caroline spots Tamlin on her way back into town after putting the new Banya in the wagon. She approaches the newcomer with a warm smile. "I havenae seen ye 'round here before," she says. "Are ye lookin' to join the caravan, then?"
Rojiza hovers to her mother's right. She's a little more cautious around strangers than her friendly mother. Unless they have shinies.

"I'm Caroline Rainiera, and this is my daughter, Rojiza." She sets one hand on her daughter's head, ruffling her hair slightly. "It's so verra nice to meet you, Tamlin. I should warn ye, we willnae be departin' for some time. Seems there's a shindig here at yon wee port, and we intend to stay for the festivities." After a moment's pause, she continues. "Ye've a beautiful name. Where're ye from?"
Rojiza curtsies at the newcomer. Mentally she rolls her eyes at her mother, who never stopped talking. She even talked in her sleep sometimes.

She blushed at the compliment and played with her bouncyher hair, she thought her name was lovely, but it was always wonderful when others appreciated it as well "Tis a pleasure to meet you both. My family and I hale from Ireland. but we mostly wander the mainlands, we return to island a few times a year though to trade items and news. where are you from? can you tell me more about the festivities the town is holding. while i was here i noticed the preperations, but was unsure of the reason."

"why then, we are near neighbors!" Tamlin exclaimed. "Scottland is a beautiful country we often stop there fora a few weeks on our trips to and from the mainland, I much prefure it to England, much greener and the people are much more friendly."
Tamlin patted Rojiza on the head " you are quite lovely, just like your mother, have you been to Ireland before?" Tamlin addressed to both Rojiza and Caroline.

"Aye," says Caroline. "I've been to Ireland before, but Ro hasn't. She hasnae been anywhere except where our caravan has travelled." Caroline also much agrees with Tamlin's synopsis of Scotland and England. She'd been to England a few times herself--very proper. No life in it.
Rojiza giggles and blushes. She busies herself with something on her skirt that's evidently VERY interesting. She never knows quite how to react when strangers compliment her. Although this Tamlin woman seems nice. But not overly nice like the Fermer girl they'd met a few moments ago.
