Sagara yanked his katana in front of him, charging straight forward, part way there, he made a few handseals.
'Kage bunshin no jutsu!'
Three more of him flanked at his sides, almost upon Ryu in one sweeping gesture.
"Take this!"

"Kage Bushin?" Ryu smiled. Suddenly, he crouched, and dodged a sword strike from the clones, moving his hands up, his used his gauntlets to parry the attacks, spinning them around.

"Yes... patience is a key here." Aki murmured, eyes gleaming as well, "Though this could get interesting..."
Two of Sagara's clones exploded into a cloud of smoke, leaving him and one more.
"Sometimes basic jutsu can be devastating." he growled, eyes narrowing, "But I'd prefer it if you'd not toy with me."

Quickly forming handseals, he paused, slamming his fist into the ground.
'Dance of lightning!'
Shocks of electricity shot from the ground, tendrils of light whipping like snakes. One made to wrap itself around Ryu's leg, while another reached up for his elbow. The rest shot sparratically up, daring anyone else to move closer.
"Let's get serious, then."

"Ooh, very nice." Ryu grabbed the electricity with his gauntlets. "Yet, you shouldn't throw electricity at someone whose veins are coursing with it. Although, this is an impressive dosage."

Sagara made a rough pulling motion, snapping the electricity tight around Ryu's arm. He yanked again, in hopes that it would set him even slightly off balance.
"Damn..." Aki muttered, shaking her head, "I've seen this attack before..."

Ryu was caught slightly off guard. "Uh oh."

A few more thick strands of electricity shot from the earth, latching on Ryu's limbs. With Sagara's motion, they pulled him to the ground, tightening around him to keep him in one place.
"Got you." he sneered, drawing a few senbon from his bag, "Just a few more moves, and you're finished..."
The one clone remaining mimicked his moves, drawng out senbon. The doppleganger moved in for the kill, readying a quick stab to the brain.

"I'm sorry, not this time." Ryu smiled, and suddenly, he sent a surge through his body, the same polarity as the electricity latched on to him, causing the two to oppose each other, and Ryu shot off the electricity holding him, causing his discharge to arc straight to the clone. "Although I will give you points for creativity. I never would have thought of using electricity to hold someone down."

The clone disappeared in a cloud of smoke, leaving a one on one fight.
"Damn. You're good, yourself." he sneered, "But you see... I'm just a decoy."
"Crap. I knew it." Aki scowled. Sagara's appearance seemed to become like molten wax, dripping from his face and body to reveal a person of different features.
Though slightly shorter, this nin was from the sound village. He cracked his neck, long, black ponytail swaying at his back.
"The real Sagara is in our captivity." he said, laughing softly, "Orochimaru-sama has plans for him, and needs only to crack the memory-block that was placed on his head."

"Orochimaru?!" Shigamaru said, with a sense of terror in his voice, his puppets retreated back into his body and he began to fill with terror.

Ryu sighed. "How did I know that this would lead back to Orochimaru sooner or later? You mind just giving up so we could move on and go get him?"

"Well..." the shinobi thought for a moment. "Fine. But this won't be the last you'll see of me, be sure of it."
With that, he disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
"Damn, if he... that was.." Aki scowled. "I should have guessed. It's not the younger one, the one we just saw, it's the older Sagara... my teacher."
She growled lightly. "He went missing in action months ago. I never wold have guessed it was Orochimaru behind the disappearance."
