EmWah Is that movie about some indian guy or something? Tell meh! Should I see it? i loved it!! it's got that asian guy from american pie and some indian dude in it. and it's really funny. it is true that you have to have a certain type of humour to enjoy it but yea, it's a great movie that has a deep side to it but perfectly balanced with humour. like i hate it when you have a deepish movie and then the comic relief comes in and is just bhah.. this movie isn't like that. well i loved it. definatley not a waste of dvd money!! 3nodding whee

no i haven't seen cabin fever, too scary la redface
but i have seen SKY CAPTAIN!! and the world of tomorrow. 3nodding yeps the whole charm of this movie you have to remember is that it's done in 1930's style, if you appriciate that then you will really love the uniqueness of the movie, it's not another movie with amazing special effects and things that make the contempory audience go woowssaa!! the woowssaa factor is in the whole 1930's theme of it and the acting, even though it's not that great, still leaves you saying "geez sky captian was amazing!!" and "God Polly was so brave!!" yea keep also in mind the ideologies of the people in that era and you should teh sex time!! whee

EmWah OMG they actually put a great Midday Movie on today (shock! horror!) and it wasn't about a family having problems and resoloving them (how can this be?!?!) That is because the movie was... Encino Man!!! A film which I haven't seen for like 8 years or something, but is still quite entertaining. whee Isn't it weird how Brendan Frasier (sp) is best at playing the non civilised jungle types? Isn't it weird how Pauly Shore was popular in the early 90's? Isn't it weird how Sean Astin sounds better with an english type accent? The answers to all these questions... something something.... Pauly shore... that name sounds familiar.... I may have had a crush on him back in the days... who was he again? And Brendan Frasier is good as a mounty (sp?) ^_^ Mmmm.... Canadian mounties were good enough but with Brendan frasier... mmmmm

gl00my ooh ooh, has anyone seen constantine? i really wanna see it <3 I've heard a bit of a mixed bag. One of my friends who is impressed with big wow-factor scenes and special effects enjoyed it, but appart from that it's not really anything special. I'm just gonna wait till it comes out on DVD and maybe hire it. Failing that, said friend will probably get it and I can jus watch it at his. 3nodding

Myst - You should google Pauly Shore to refresh your memory 3nodding
Oh and Constantine... I doubt I'll see it unless it's for free. It seems like a good idea but the makers really should have never got Keanu into the picture. I mean, Keano is only awesome when he is in a movie where most of his lines include the words "dude" or "bogus"... (Meaning Bill and Ted xd ) The Matrix people were just lucky that their movie was awesome, so Keanus lack of acting prowess wasn't one of the most memorable aspects of the film... The first one that is. The others will not be mentioned ever again.

Hey, you guys remember the movie Gone in 60 Seconds yeah??? I just saw the original, the one made in 1974
It was like 50 times better than the remake that everone knows of with Nicolas Cage...
This is the movie that really started the whole car chase stuff... The entire end of the movie is just one long car chase.... 40 minutes to be precise... In which 90 cars were destroyed... Im not kidding, 90 actual cars were destroyed... I had so much fun watching this film, i bought it for 15 dollars tonight after work... Birthday present for my dad, im going to get it burnt in the morning so then i can have a copy...
Seriously... this kicks the crap out of the year 2000 remake.... The scenes are nothing compared to this... and the storyline is so much better... Its a lot more realistic...
Not to mention that there were no stunt drivers, all the actors were just doing their job...The pedestrians were even real.... No actors there... and the main car was used from start to finish... no replacements... it still exists to this day... even from all the damage it sustained during the film...
Im gonna have to give this film a 11/10... It was totally awesome...
