Dizzy was unfamilar with the marsh as well as the forest to the east. But the closest solid ground was that forest she refused to go in. But it wasn't till she'd realized where she was, that she freaked out and turned around.
To end up back in the marsh.
"Gosh darn it!" She was cussing again, frustrated that she ended up back in the dirty marsh. Struggling against the muck to free her legs so she could just fly out, she lost her balance and ended up face first in the marsh.
She managed to roll herself over so she wouldn't drown, but she was feeling exhausted at this point and just laid in the mud looking at the sky. "I don't know where these pirates are, but that girl better be worth the troubles.
Moving slowly, Dizzy made it to her feet. She wsa covered from head to toe mud, and her wings were useless now. Her only option was to slowly make her way to the opposite 'shore' and climb out.
"At least the pirates were smart enough to not come here..." she murmured as she finally got out of the muck and shook the loose mud off.

Apparently, while intoxicated, Dagen's sense of direction isn't what it should be. She walked for what felt like ever to get back to the dumb party, but never once got to the beach. "Dumb beach sneaked away..."
She'd been taking her feet for granted the whole time, trusting they'd take her where she wanted to go because she didn't feel in control of them. Suddenly, they decided they didn't want to move anymore and she found herself face first in the mucky water of the marsh.
She flailed and panicked at first, cursing her stupid feet and finally got herself upright. Least it felt upright. She was laying on her back in the muck staring up at the sky. She wondered if the air and her feet were against her now.
"Dish not dat party. I need ta get da cupthingsh." she was thinking outloud again hoping for some answers to come to her.
She wiggled her toes to see if they'd listen to her yet and she'd found success, so she tried taking a step. Nothing. She tried another step. Nothing again. "Why I not move..."
A dragonfly buzzed over her, just barely missing her nose and flying off towards the forest. Dagen's eyes followed the bug and then she realized she wasn't standing yet. She grumbled and pushed herself up. A little too fast actually and the marsh started spinning. "STOP!" she shouted at the marsh.
She punched at the air, as if it would do anything and growled lightly at the situation. She was still cup-less. She turned around and hobbled off towards a different direction.

" Hello?" Carter called out, gasping as he felt his foot become stuck. " what the bloody hell?" He breathed, tugging his foot. He looked down to find it submurged in nasty, ankle deep mud. " ah! oh no." He breathed. He should have realized where he was heading because of the smell...
"great, a marsh." He said, giving a strong heave of his leg, managing to get it unstuck. He continued this slow trudge, finding each tug harder than the last. He was up to the middle when he got especially stuck. "Come...ON!" he cried, giving all he had, which was a lot more than seemingly needed and it caused him to fall face first into the nasty mud. Carter scrambled and got up, covered in mud and stink. Screw this, he was going a different way!

This muck was disgusting! Seth groaned as he trudged through this. Never mind needing a weapon to fight these pirates, all he's have to do is through the sludge that was going to be attached to his body for the next month and that would do the trick. He was holding Amadorine under his arm for fear that the squirming, drunk child would slip out of his grasp into the muck around them.
Grumbling, not happy about his daughter's excursions with this, he did as thorough of a search as he dared, then quickly retreated from the swamp. Ugh, he needed a bath desporately.....
Setting Amadorine down, she began wiping the smelly gunk off of his legs, making a face.
As soon as her little feet hit the groun, Ama ran off, giggling like the mad little drunkard she was.
"A-AMA!" Seth quickly sped off after her.

Stacia took a step forward in her drunker stupor and felt herself sink to her knees. She panicked a bit and tried to pull herself out. The happy drunk feeling had now turned into complete horror and idiocy. As she struggled she sunk deeper in until she latched onto a branch and slowly pulled herself loose.
Her shoe was now missing.
Stacia stared at the spot where her shoe was probably stuck, but decided it was best to just move on. Nothing with any sense would hide here...unless they were drunk.
Stacia stopped and thought about the pirates and looked around knowing that they were usually just as drunk as she was. Perhaps they sunk with the girl too?
After a few minutes she decided it was best to move on.

Dae gave herself a small pat on the back. Instead of traipsing through the creamed corn muck for a second time, she simply viewed the landscape with disdain from afar. Sure, her feet were still sunk a few inches in the squishy mud and she was being eaten alive by mosquitos. She wasn't, however, going to be washing that horrible smelling silt out of her underwear like she had last week. All last week.
Glancing around, noting the many footsteps with mild amusement, she decided to take another route. If the pirates weren't here last time, why would they be here this time? It's not like a sane person would set up camp in the middle of a swamp land.
