Reira worked to catch her breath as soon as that final dip came. She laughed lightly, which didn't help, but she couldn't stop herself. She really was having a good time, now that Alturius had quieted down about his plans. Smugly, she thought about how she knew all along that everyone was good. "Yes, let's," she agreed, making her way toward where the food was set up.
Laugh-a-Lot giggled a great deal at that. She couldn't resist, and when Polgara's hand made contact her cheek, she allowed her powers to work their magic through the touch. "I like making people laugh!" she proclaimed proudly. And then she started in on another of her childish ramblings. "...And just about any other kind of game, too. Except I don't like racing my big sister Reira, because she cheats... So then I make her laugh, and she says that isn't fair, which doesn't make sense because she cheated first!"

Alturius grinned and nodded, following Reira and after reaching the table, got them both a glass of punch, he handed her her's and bowed, giving a light flurish. "Then we should find somewhere quiet and get to know each other better, I think nobody is in that room right there," He said pointing at what looked to be a room marked storage and appeared to be ungaurded nor locked. "Would be a good place to go," he said with a nod.
Polgara's laughter was silver as she tried to calm herself down. Finally she managed and she smiled. "I see, I agree, that doesn't make much since at all since she cheated..." She grinned and poked the child's nose again, before looking at the door.
That's when she spotted her grandson. "Pardon me a moment Laugh-a-Lot, I want you to meet a friend of mine," She smiled and walked over to Dil, picking him up she kissed him several times on the forehead and cheeks. "Hello Dil! Did you miss Grandma Pol?" She smiled and patted the boy's cheek, before carrying him over to Laugh a lot, and sitting down again, putting him in her lap. "Laugh-a-Lot this is Dil, my Grandson, say Hi to Laugh-a-Lot Dil."
Lucius saw Kethara and moved on over, he sat down at her table. "Hey stranger, you tried the muffins yet?" He asked, he hadn't noticed the bandages yet, but when he did, he would definatly go ballistic.

Kaelin smiles watching her mother hugging Dil, she was glad that she had her family. If she didn't, she wasn't sure how she would get through everythign she had. Turning she watches Mel before chuckling heading over to him.
Leaning down she pokes his nose causing him to giggle. Lifting her other son into her arms she kisses his cheek "I have someone I want you to meet Mel. I think you'll like her very much." she turns making her way towards her mother.
Dil giggles from all the kisses before he see another child before him. Biting at his bottom lip he becoe shy giving her a small wave before he turns hiding his face against his grandmother.
Kethara looks up biting lip before she smiles. Shaking her head she laughs slightly trying to not show the pain "No I haven't, I wasn't actually planning on being here for long. How are ya?" lifting her hands she attempts to hide the bandage by placing her arms in front of her body.

Reira smiled her thanks, accepting the glass and taking a sip. Her eyes trailed in the direction that Alturius pointed. Storage? It didn't really seem like they were supposed to be in there... "Why not just stay out here...?" She inquired, looking toward the designated rest and sitting area. "It's probably a little quieter over there." She honestly didn't get it. She thought they were just going to chat.
Laugh-a-Lot smiled at the boy. "Hi Dil!" she greeted with a giggle. Why was he being so shy? She wasn't going to be mean! Luckilly, she had a plan for such situations. "It's nice to meet you," she said, reaching out her hand. All he had to do was touch it...

Alturius shrugged. "Alright, there works I guess..." Why she wanted to make out in the middle of a crowded room was lost to him, but maybe she was that kind of girl? He didn't care, at this point Alturius was just going by what he knew and doing what he always did. "Lead the way,"
Polgara smiled at Laugh-a-Lot and gently stroked Dil's back. "Dil-hun, Laugh-a-Lot won't hurt you I promise, she's very nice." She turned her head and waved at Kaelin and Mel, even if she wasn't sure who the second child was, she had her suspcions.
Lucius chuckled. "Want me to get you some?" He asked her. After all, she wasn't staying long, she might as well eat something. "And I'm good," he said with a nod, starting to stand.

Reira gave Alturius a questioning look, but made her way over to the sitting area just the same. He certainly hadn't seemed hard of hearing, and a conversation about who they were didn't seem to call for any special privacy... She took a seat and set her drink on the ground near her feet. "So..." she began.
Laugh-a-Lot continued to stand there, her arm outstretched, with a friendly smile on her face. She was ready to stand there all night.

Kaelin smiels as she walks towards her mother, kneeling down next to her she smiels "Mum I would like you to meet Mel. This is Dil's twin brother." looking down at her wide eye son she chuckles. "Mel this is your grandmother."
Mel looks her over before he reaches out trying to get into her arms. He was no where as shy as Dil. He like the attention alot. Looking at his brother he makes a face before waving to laugh-alot.
Dil looks at the hand before he makes a face very similar to Mel's. Turning back around he tries to act brave as he reaches out carefully taking ahold on Laugh-A-Lot's hand.
Kethara shakes her head she she reaches towards him. Wincing her hand instant goes to her chest as she bites her lip "No its alright, its finr Luc."

Alturius didn't say a word, he just went in for the kill. He lowered his head and pressed his lips to Reira's and his right hand moved to the back of her head. After all, she did want to get to 'know him better'.
Polgara smiled and took Mel too, leaning down and showering him with kisses too. "Hello Mel, I'm Grandma Pol" She smiled and nuzzled the little boys in her arms, even tho they were starting to play with Laugh-a-Lot.
Lucius frowned when she flinched. "Kethara... are you alright?" He asked, trying to get a good look at why she was clutching her chest.

Reira didn't even know what hit her at first; she was frozen in place. Clearly, the little voices inside her head that told her what to do were quite confused. First, they hadn't warned her that this was going to happen. And now, they were telling her to return the kiss! After a moment, her mind caught up with the situation and she squirmed away from Alturius' grasp. "That was not," she breathed, her face nearly emotionless, "what I had in mind."
Suddenly conscious that they were in a very public place, and not wanting to cause a scene when she raised a big fuss, but certainly wanting to raise a big fuss, she stood. "Get over here," she hissed, escaping toward the storage door Alturius had pointed out previously. She looked around to make sure no one she knew had seen. Lucius seemed occupied by a female she'd never seen before, Laugh-a-Lot was presumably still in the nursery, Sol was nowhere to be seen, and no one else looked familiar or seemed to have paid any mind. Somehow, Reira didn't seem to realize that she was walking right into more trouble.
Laugh-a-Lot smiled to Mel before she giggled and used a bit more of her power, allowing the magic to transfer to Dil through the contact. A touch of laughter always seemed to break the ice with shy Pae.

Kaelin smiles before she leans over giving her mother a quick hug "Sorry I didn't bring them over sooner. I was settling in with Rath." a smile came to her face as she spoke. It didn't come to her that no one knew that she was living with another male now.
Dil burst into giggles which cause him to squirm. Shaking his head he looks up at Laugh-A-Lot giving her a smile. Holding his hands out he smiles "Friend!!!"
Mel looks over at his brother then towards Laugh-A-Lot. Anyone who could get his twin to laugh was okay in his book. Turning her looks back at his grandmother "Grandma." laughing he claps his hands together.
Kethara breaths in slowly looking at him, giving a small nod she leans back. This revealed the bandage as her arm didn't completely hide it for her.

Alturius grinned. JACKPOT! He followed her quickly to the storeroom and manged to jimmy the door open. It wasn't hard, the fact that it had been more stuck than anything else had made it loads easier. Putting an arm around her waist, he led her in and then shut the door with his foot, then jumbled about for a light switch, fidning one, the room lit up showing a few rows of boxes, but nothing overly special.
"So then, should we continue?" He said, turning to move in for the kill once more.
Polgara smiled and nodded her head at Kaelin. "They're precious, and Rath? who is Rath?" Polgara would have liked to know. She smiled down at Mel and kissed his forehead. "Yes, Grandma..."
Lucius frowned and sank back into his chair. "I'm sorry..." He said. "If I had done better that night I could have cuaght you and not have had you get hurt..." He felt so guilty even tho it wasn't his fault at all.

Reira squirmed away again, ending up backed up against the wall by the door. She didn't seem particularly worried about being trapped, her annoyance becoming more and more pronounced across her features. She hesitated, barely escaping another of those smothering kisses.
"No! We shouldn't." Reira had picked up a special talent from Laugh-a-Lot - the ability to ramble on about nearly anything, especially when she was either excited or in a bind. "What are you thinking?" she began. "I said I'd get to know you, not kiss you! Do you always just do whatever you want? Are you really that spoiled? That you think you can just have it all? You keep saying you want to rule over people. You want to have them all at your disposal? For whatever you want them for? For Kisses? What else?" She paused for a breath before continuing.
Laugh-a-Lot giggled over how easy it was to get Dil to open up to her. Then she looked over to Mel and suddenly realized that the two looked just the same! She looked back and forth, a bit confused.

Kaelin blushes before she looks down at her lap "Um...well..he a guy who I'm staying with. Nothing happen we've just kissed that all." she was glad Victor wasn't here at this point. She knew he be doing a victory dance. "Um...were kindof seeing eachother." looking up at her mother she smiles biting her lip alittle.
Dil smiles before he looks at his twin. Looking back at Laugh-A-Lot he points at Mel "Mel!!" he looks back at her before he stands so he was side by side next to his brother. The only thing that was different about them was there eyes.
Mel rubs at his forehead before he looks at Laugh-A-Lot. Tilting his head he takes his brother hand before he holds his hand out to her "Friend?"
Kethara shakes her head frowning "Luc its not your fault. Please don't blame yourself. I wasn't watching where I was walking. I'm fine really just a few bruised ribs. Nothing too serious." she wasn't going to mention to him that she could move at all for awhile there. She didn't want him anymore upset.

Alturius blinked and was floored. "Uh... Hold on a second..." He waved his hands or a minute, trying to gather his wits again, as this took the floor completely out from under him. "I thought you knew what I was talking about... I didn't acutally mean talk... I was using indeuendo... I thought you wanted to make out too..."
Alturius' ego and pride were now slightly bruised.
Polgara smiles and bows her head. "That's wonderful Kaelin, I'm so happy to see you happy," She chuckles a little, still brushing the boy's heads even as they are talking to Laugh-a-Lot.
Lucius nods and sighs, shaking his head slowly. "Still... you could have gotten medical attention sooner if I hadn't asked you to help me home... and it wouldn't have been as bad..."

Reira was a bit surprised that Alturius cooled off so quickly. She got off the rhythm she was on and stumbled to find what she meant to say. "Do you really think that's what everyone wants?" she asked, her voice quiet as she tried to decide for sure that she didn't want it not. "Not everyone wants the same things you do... I just wanted to know what you were like when you weren't focused on taking over the island. Maybe that's what I found out..."
Laugh-a-Lot giggled and took ahold of Mel's hand, letting her power flow once more. She could do this all day, she loved making others laugh. "Friends!" she replied, smiling at the two. "What do you guys like to do?" she asked cheerfully.
