"Well...Nevermind then..." Long replied as he looked up and stroked the bird lightly. The bird lightly lifted it's beak high and let Long stroke his chest lightly. Long himself leaned back as Rin leaned forward to him in attempt to make sure she wouldn't bump into him or anything.
"I think going to the movies is a good idea," Long said his hand found its way to wrapping around the bird lightly as he brought it down cupped in his hands as the brid sought the same comfort in his hands. He lightly used his thumb to stroke the bird several times before holding it out to Rin, "Wanna hold 'em?" Long asked lightly as he opened the bird to Rin.
Long looked over at Rin and had the bird sitting there in his hands as it turned its head several times between Long and Rin chirping lightly. It then stared blankly at Rin, as he chirped once more before urging itself to go to Rin.

Rin blinked, watching as the bird actually allowed Long to pet it. Her eyes widened slightly as she stared, the urge to laugh slowly fading as she grew a little distracted from the comical thoughts of before. Now she was focused upon the bird, absently nodding her head as he agreed about the movies, but not really listening.
She settled back, leaning away from him again and sitting on her knees in front of him, watching him pick up the bird and bring it from his hair, into his hands instead. "...can I?" she asked quietly, as if thinking speaking too loud would scare it away. It was wild, wasn't it? "It'll let me?"
She hesitantly held out her hands towards it, cupped lightly together. She didn't want to just make a grab for it. She guessed that'd definitely scare it off, and she really did want to hold it. A wild bird, just coming up like this... It was amazing, to her. She was fascinated by the oddest things, somtimes.

The peace and tranquility of the temple was overwhelmingly contrastive to the chaos and distortion of the hospital. Rivera felt at rest instantaneously upon crossing the threshold at the gate. It was like slipping through the cleanest, crispest, most amiable water in the world... and finding nirvana on the other side. She lifted her hand and placed it on top of Kira's, leaning her head back so her cheek would brush against his fingers. She longed for his warmth. Not later--now. She craved it. Five days of being unable to sense him... that was torture for her. Rivera wanted him badly, but she'll have that later... there would be time later. This little touch would suffice for the moment, a morsel of honey from the vast comb.

(lol happy st. Patrick's day everyone, lol be sure to wear your green *pinch*))
"As long as you aren't threatening and no intent of selfishness is in you..." Long stated almost as if it were some rule. He lightly held it out to Rin's hand to make a bridge. The bird had hopped it's away from his hand onto Rin's hands. It turned to Long to see him nod lightly, turning its head back around to find it's way into the dip of Rin's hands. It then nestled itself in her hands whilst looking up at Rin and giving a few chirps. It tiltled it's head and noted the white flower in her hair as he sat back down like a passive, yet unhostile pet.
But following the chirps that the orange streaked bird let out, more flutter from the plants and bushes in the canopy of the trees along the roof and some of the edge as three landed on Long's head, each one with different colored streaks of green, blue and black. More found their way on his shoulders. Some even fluttered and landed on Rin's shoulders, several landing on the soft cool green summer grass in which the duo of Rin and Long had been sitting. Long himself was surprised as he once again looked at the top of his head with his eyeballs, "This was unexpected...You guys should've heard me earlier when I told orange over there," Long said pointing at the single sparrow in Rin's hands, "..That my head...and or hair is not a nest..." Long said as he suddenly stretched his arms out to try and pry them off without alarming them.
But seemingly enough, the moment he raised his arms, the moment more birds landed on his outstretched arms. Long gave a light frown as he held his arms out like a scare crow. He looked over at Rin and slightly nodded. What a day it turned out to be...

[Uhh... -didn't wear green- >.> But I didn't get pinched. xD]
Rin blinked, glancing uncertainly at Long. No... she definitely wasn't threatening. Was she being selfish by wanting to hold it? She frowned to herself, but the expression softened again as she saw the bird moving into her hands. She smiled lightly at it, very cautiously moving her thumb so she could softly pet it without scaring it off.
Her head turned though, as she heard the rustling from the surrounding plants, and suddenly a group of birds burst out and began settling around and upon them. Rin had a couple on her shoulders now, Long with several on his head and shoulders, and even more on the ground around them. Not to mention, she still held the original in her hands. She just stared for a few seconds, obviously surprised, and then faced Long when he spoke. He repeated the fact about his hair, and lifted his arms to try getting them off, but they simply flocked to him, settling upon his extended arms as well.
Rin stared back at him, then turned her head to one side as she bit her tongue, again trying not to laugh. She knew she had birds perched on her as well, but not nearly as many as Long did. After a moment, once she was sure she'd regained her composure, she faced him again. "Do you need some help?" she asked, still smiling to herself. She couldn't help it. Just looking at him made her want to laugh again.

((I only got pinched once, by my father at 11 p.m.))
Kira smiled as he pushed the wheelchair Rivera was in. He knew she was feeling peaceful in the temple and he felt the exact same peacefulness flowing through him. He slowly removed one of his hands from the handle on the wheelchair and placed it on Rivera's cheek, gently caressing her. "It's really nice here huh? Way different from anywhere else we've ever been..." He asked softly with a smile as he followed where he could sense Shinku's presence. He soon found himself a few feet from Shinku and His spouse.
Shinku noticed Rivera and Kira and smiled, something he had hardly ever done for those two. "Well Hitomi, here they are now..." He said, taking her hand and guiding her to them. "Guess you don't know their names yet... Just be smart about when you use them... This is Rivera..." He said, motioning to the girl in the wheelchair. "And this is Kira..." He said, motioning to the winged fellow pushing the wheelchair. "So Rivera... I'm guessing your body didn't catch up with all the energy you used yet?" He asked, knowing what the wheelchair was about.

Rivera smiled at Hitomi, "Pleasure to see you again, Hitomi-san." She looked up at Shinku and childishly stuck out her tongue. "Yeah... well, it's not permanent, so don't look so happy. I'm just waiting for my nerves and muscles to repair. Don't try to kill me or anything, it's ignoble to attack an invalid." She grinned almost gleefully. She wasn't really an invalid. She could still whoop his a**, even if she was sitting in a wheelchair that hated her with a pure passion. She snuggled her cheek closer to Kira's hand, enjoying the warmth that she received from him. It was so nice just to be near him. She didn't even mind publically displaying her affection in front of Shinku. He'd have a good laugh about it. The probably all would anyway, with the Gyrfalcon stuck in a wheelchair that despised her.
"Anyway, I came by to drop this off." She pulled out a small black booklet and a pen, scribbled something and tore out a check that had a lighthouse scene on a shore in the background. It was made out to 'Shinko Zetsumi'. $23,500 for his part. Rivera handed it to him with a smile. "I added in an extra two-thousand bucks. Consider that a wedding present." She smirked. "I even overlooked your pre-job drinking. I should've docked you at least five-hundred for that. It's not safe, especially since we were in a group. If you work alone, drink if you like. Don't endanger your group members next time or I'll hunt you down and tickle you mad."

Shinku felt his head droop slightly when he noticed the misspelling of his name. "It's Shinku Zetsumei... Not Shinko... Can't you at least get it right on paper?" He asked with a slight tone of humorous desperation to his voice. "And so what if I wanted to enjoy a drink before a job? It's my tradition since every one of those things could've been my last... And with number one on the way, I think I should be able to enjoy liquor while I can..." He said with annoyance.
"You seriously have to lay off of it anyway... Consider it our way of trying to help you quit..." Kira said with a smile. "Well, I guess we're off... Ciao and good luck with the kid!" He said happily before wheeling Rivera away from the other couple.

Rivera laughed a little, which was quite rare. Rivera never laughed, only smiled. Her smiles were always sad smiles, but were happy only when she smiled at Kira and her weapons. And even then, there were the sad times. For Rivera to laugh was like finding a 1000-dollar bill on the ground. "I just think that Shinko is a cuter name than Shinku... Shinku is so sad. Its two meanings are sad. Maybe that's why your life used to be sad until you met Hitomi." Rivera's eyes turned to a sky-blue. "When you name your child, give it a name with a powerful meaning, of protection and of wisdom. Choose the name well, and make sure that it is minimal in ill-chance. But remember, that a name can be a double-sided edge... it can help and it can harm... I bid you well..."
Rivera let Kira wheel her away, letting her words linger in the air. She did not know that what she said was something that Kai'sekillre had done for her a long time ago when she was a child... her given name provided her the power of a great warrior... but the name he gave her was the seal of ultimate protection, but also the ultimate torment.
She looked up at Kira. "What do you want to do today? We've got free time on our hands, so we better spend it now." She let the warm spring breeze shift through her long hair. "Because knowing our luck, someone's probably out to kill us again."

"I dunno... I never know anything to do... Just being with you is good enough on its lonesome..." Kira said quietly as he thought. "And with the fact that someone's probably out to kill us... I want to actually leave this business when our child is born... There's too much of a chance that it may wind up orphaned or dead with the enemies we've made..." He said quietly.
Shinku thought on Rivera's words as she left. "Well Hitomi... Do you know whether it'll be a boy or a girl yet? And what are you thinking of for a name anyway?" He asked curiously.

[My.. request went... ignored. xPP]
Hitomi nodded at Rivera, giving a happy grin. "Pleasure's mine." She responded. She was happier that she finally knew Rivera's name, as well as Kira's. She was much more comfortable around people when she knew who they were. However, when she saw Rivera write the amount of money as 23,000 dollars, Hitomi gaped. She... that was so much money! Growing up, she had never seen anyone with that much money! She quickly put her pale hand over her mouth, quietly listening.
She then looked at Shinku when Rivera noted about his pre-job drinking. "You.. shouldn't have alchlohol before working, Shinku..." she sighed, gving a small giggle when Rivera said she would hunt down Shinku and tickle him next time he endangered a group. She then grabbed Shinku's ear, pulling it down by her mouth. "Daddy shouldn't be a drunkard either. That will just royally piss me off." She muttered, letting go of his ear. She then redirected her attention to Rivera and Kira.
Hitomi nodded, letting Rivera's words sink in about naming her child. She was only a couple months pregnant, and she already knew the gender of the baby... and.. she picked out a name too. "Alright.." She responded, watching as Rivera and Kira left. She waved, blinking. "Get well soon, Rivera." she called out softly. She looked at Shinku when she asked her a question, and her put her arms over his shoulders. "Why yes. As a matter of fact, I know the gender and the name." She teased. "But what would you do to get this information, I wonder? Because I'm not telling you." She continued, a playful grin on her lips.

"We can leave the business... but we can never leave our legacy." She replied. "As long as we are wanted dead, we must kill. As long as we kill, people will hate us. We can't even ask other assassins to kill for us. If it's from another alliance, we may get backstabbed. If it's from the Birds of Prey, people will accuse us of puppeteering, then we get this whole interalliance justice system and it gets messy enough for us to just get killed again." Rivera sighed. "There's no way we can escape this mess that I've started... I never should've become an assassin..."
A small floating LCD panel zoomed up to her. A message bot. It carried messages from person to person. {Rivera?}
"Yes, that's me."
{Message from the admin office. Highly confidential. Open... yes or no?}
"Yes." Her muscles tensed.
{Message from an unknown person.
Summons to Rivencaira Aeryazure Capell'acqu,
You are hereby charged with unlawful lineal continuation, unauthorized leave and unconsented breeding conclusion. Report for trial on the twenty-seventh sun of the third moon at Half crescent valley. If you do not arrive within the 24 hour span of the day, an escort will be sent to retrieve you by any means necessary. Come alone.
~ Kaa-ferrvyne Clan
end of message.}
Rivera's knuckles were white, tight on the armrests of her wheelchair. "No... this isn't right..." Her eyes were silver. The only color that defined her fear. Her whispering voice was like the final fall of the guillotine's blade. "This is nuts... I just get out of the grasp of death... and they practically call me back to hell... and for things I'm not responsible of?"

Shinku sighed with slight annoyance. "Hitomi... I just said I'm quitting drinking... I'm never going to drink once the baby is born... And why can't I know what the gender and name are?" He asked with curiousity just dripping from his voice.
"Kaa-ferrvyne Clan? Who the hell is that and what are they charging you with exactly? And why the hell must you go alone? Unauthorized leave? Unconsented breeding conclusion? What the ******** is all this?" He asked. "Listen... If anyone comes to try and retrieve you for this, I will kill them... But are you really going to go there? And where the hell is Half Crescent Valley?" He asked.

Rivera nodded and tried to calm herself. "Kaa-Ferrvyne is one of the British dragon clans. I have to go. The constellation alliance is a mosquito compared to the Clan... besides... they're most likely holding my father captive... I know he's still alive... somewhere... I'm sure he is... even if they're not, they might know where he is. I have to know where my father is." She bit her lip. "Chances are... this is all part of his punishment for running away..." She wanted to run away right now and just hide, but she was in a wheelchair, and couldn't do anything without Kira's help. Rivera sighed and suppressed her emotions so she can keep talking without sounding scared. "Why don't we go back to the dorm and grab something to eat?" She changed the subject and her mood quickly, "I'm craving a bit of blood right now, are you?"
