Dess cleaned the wounds and prepared a splint to go on the pilot Niko's leg. "So what's your name mister?" the woman asked. off handedly.
"Rue, please help me move the man onto the gurny and then you might want to check on out captain."

Rue did as he was told. He moved the man onto the gurny and raised it up for the good doctor. "Alright, i'll go make sure everything is okay." Rue ran to where the sacred had landed, taking no notice of the colossal ship and all that it symbolized, but instead rushed to his captain. "Captain, how was the flight? And how is the battle progressing?"

Niko was awake but couldn't talk and wouldn't. Right now he was out of breath thanks to the fight and bloodloss. An Niko never made a habit to talk to anyone except his clients, so he remained silent and let the doctor do what he was trained to do.

"I'm going to move you to the infirmary for now." Dess said as she wrapped a bandage around the leg. "You'll need an infusion of plasma before you get back on your feet."
Looking him over she notices old scars on his legs and arms "You must have been through some bad fights in your travels mister. Where did you come from anyway."
Before moving him to the medical bay she looked over to Captain Gail to see if he needed any attention.

My old scars huh? They were reminders to him of what he has done. Things that tell him he is only mortal. These scars were the only things that kept Niko.... sane... He still refused to speak to the doctor though.

Nic nodded at the instructions given to her and headed for the Rehk to land. Pulling into the Rehk a little shaky but none the less getting in, Nic jumped out and took a quick look over of the 909.

Gail lifted out of his cockpit and brushed off the sides of his sleeves. Closing his eyes he took a few odd deep breaths. Slowly he tilted his head down to Rue with a blank stare.
“This battle is over. Help your friend.” He responded in a serious, calm tone, and nodded his head at Nic’s landing LFO. Carefully he made his way down from the sleekly curved vehicle, and hopped down to the ground. The look on Dess’ face was barely caught out of the corner of his eye.
“So Victor told you, eh?” He grumbled with out looking at her, and then left the hanger. The second the door closed behind him, he fell against the wall with quaking legs. They had suddenly turned weak against him. His teeth smashed together as he attempted to stand up again. “Dang it… Why?” He muttered and forced his legs to follow his will. Finally the two bendy stubs steadied themselves against the ground.
A loud crack sounded through the ship, noting that the speakers had activated.
“Attention all aboard the Rehk. There is an emergency landing coming in from an unidentified LFO. All attempts to close the door and halt its course have been futile. Braise yourselves for impact!” Victor’s voice screamed through the comm.. Gail’s eyes shot wide open and he quickly gripped a rail. Bare seconds before he had gripped it, the whole ship shook in a chained reaction. Metal screamed as it was crushed against the LFO. The impact sent a rattling shock wave, causing pipes, controls, plates, and doors to rattle.
(( Rue, its Shifting Ashes, no offense.))

The silver LFO all but crashed into one of the Rehk's ramps; it's power dieing out as crossed over the retracting ramp in it's clumbsy coarse; dropping down at a angle and grating lifelessly onto the ramp inadvertently. It wasn't that the LFO seemed to be forcing it's way onboard, but that it was more as if it was simply tryping to hit something other than the ground as it shut off...
Rendered a lifeless pile of silver metal, it screeched into the hangar doors with a sound akin to a dog whistle, so high was the octave of the sound produced. With a small fireworks display of sparks as it slammed to a halt; the archetype creaked and settled in a hissing cloud of steam bursting from it's joints. Oddly, small wisps of purple-tint trapar hummed and crackled over the inert LFO, flashing about like leftover lightning. Strangly, the pilot didn't emerge from the back module, despite the fact that staying inside the damaged mech could be potentialy dangerous....

((Oops! I'm so sorry svener >< ))
Rue fell to the ground with the collison of the new LFO. The pile of metal just sat there unwavering. Rue counted. Terek's, Gail's, Nic's, the two new LFO's and his own. The dock was too full and Kayako would need to land soon. Gail never spoke to Rue and he seemed always to have a problem with him, so why not give him something to have a problem about. He ran to Nic. "Are you okay? It was pretty rough out there, had me worried for you." He held out his hand. He accepted her words about the lost pilot. The one he had saved seemed to make up for the loss, but now he was concerned for Nic.

The hit of the LFO making contact with the floor knocked Nic against the 909, her back flat against it and arms spread. She looked at Rue's extended arm and then looked at him in surprise. "Th...thanks..." Nic said quietly and let Rue help her up.

Niko looked around and covered his ears when the screeching of a new LFO hit the dock. "Idiot" But that crash had done it. He fell unconscious again. ((All right I'm gone for a week so don't wake my charry up!))

Gail continued to limp his way down the hollow halls. His leathery legs rubbed with a burning pain. Each sudden jab felt like a crack that effortlessly drained the energy from his body.
“Too much time.” He grumbled and finally pressed his hand against a cold hard door. The door smoothly drifted to the side, revealing the command room behind it. Gail stepped forward and examined everything carefully. Victor and Terrek were the only two that sat themselves at their stations. Victor shifted his eyes back and stood up at the site of Gail’s approach.
“Gail, are you alright?” Victor asked with urgency and rushed forward. Gail gently lifted his hand and shook his head.
“I’m fine.” He muttered and wiped the trickle of thick blood running down his cheek. Victor stopped and hesitantly held himself back from helping his old friend. The outside easily caught Gail’s line of site. He shifted his attention to the Longinus. The massive ship was slammed with an invisible force. Hopelessly the ship struggled against the wave of rushing power. Gail gritted his teeth and moved forward towards the comm.. He raised his fist and violently slammed it down on the button.
“Attention personnel, time is up.” He glanced one last time at the ship that was bending under the rippling pressure. Green waves splashed from under its wings like a large tsunami. The whole event was beautiful, with green fluctuating sparkles dancing into the air ceremonially. But it all fell down on itself, leaving another wave to splash and fade into nothing. After the brilliance of green colors faded, it was obvious that it was no beautiful site to witness.
“I’m sorry, but who ever is not on the Rehk right now… is being left behind.” Gail finished and lifted his stiff fist from the comm..
“What?” Victor asked in complete bewilderment.
“Victor…” Gail coolly called his name and turned his gaze to him. Each lid slightly slacked against his eyes. Bellow them the lines of lacked sleep curled its way around. It was obvious that he was tired, angered, and disappointed. “I don’t want to do it… but that is not the point. The Longinus will clearly be sending in reinforcements. I won’t risk the safety of this crew on one person. Return to your station and activate the emergency thrusters. Burn them out as long as youcan.” Gail turned around and steadily sat himself back into his command chair. Slowly Victor stepped along the padded metal floor and took his seat. His hands lifted and gently placed themselves on the wheel and his fingers carefully wrapped around the rubber padded sticks.
“Understood.” He called and clicked two yellow buttons on the top of the sticks.
Behind the Rehk, four large jets exploded like a fountain of flames. Each jet pushed the Rehk forward at a slow and steady speed, but as time went on, it quickly gained increased acceleration. Wind crowded out of the way and spread out behind into thousands of mini twisters. Gail watched until his face fell into his hands.

Rue listened to the comm message. He became quiet frustrated at the message, not able to understand how someone could leave one of their own, or rather one of the gekko, behind. "Gail! Kayako is still out there! There's no more room in the dock!!!" He felt the push of the Rehk move them away. "damn it...why am I even here...I just...get pushed around..." Rue walked away from Nic and headed to the knight, but to think and not to inspect it. He had saved a man, lost a man, they had gained a strange LFO no one paid any attention to. The UF forces had been held back, and the ship slowly left behind a battle. Rue shivered. Was the UF worse than this? Was this why his brother joined the UF and died for them? Rue sighed...They were headed to the final battle place of his brother. It would be...a test....

(for the record, Kayako wasn't a member of Gekkostate, only Nicole and Arek)
Dess held onto Nico's body as the LFO crashed into the hanger. She didn't want more injuries to befall him. When she saw the mess there was no way should could walk away from it. Running to the mangled machine she looked for the cockpit. "Rue, um... you girl" Dess pointed to Nicole, "We need to get..." At that the words of captain Gail rang over the intercom. When they were finished Dess only stood there, unable to grasp the message completely. She knew Gail was angry. Not really what about but it was clear in his voice that something had happened.
She would investigate the matter in the medical bay when everything had smoothed over. For now there was more injured to deal with. "Get... get this open. I don't know how. We need to see how the pilot is. Standing on the edge of the LFO a weak purple haze seemed to rise off the metal of it. It made Dess feel nuascious but didn't slow her down.

On the hull of the Lonjinus the Senturi rolled over. One of the chains was embedded in the hull itself and it was the only thing preventing it from falling to the ground hundred of feet below.
Kayako's mind floated freely within the winds of the sky. Unconscious, she never felt the hands of the soldiers who brought her aboard the ship.
