to me, kago smoking is no big deal.
most of japan are smokers themselves ;
and allthough she was hired and works on the grounds that she's a sweet and innocent idol, i think this was just a slip-up for her ;
every teenager goes through it ;

cool The reason why Aibon smoking was such a huge deal is because in Japan, especially with the H!P girls, idols are treated like that girl next door. How would you feel if your little sister or best friend started smoking? Or even just a neighbour who you used to hang out with all the time? The found this to be apalling for such an innocent little girl to start smoking so suddenly, and underage, even! That's why she was suspended, and eventually fired.
