The creature laughed a strange laugh and said, "No cut through arm. Arm shadow. Can't kill shadow, no cut shadow." the creature then reached up and grabbed Messeru and threw him at a wall then reached for Lillian trying again to pull her into the shadows.

Meseru stayed slumped against the tree pain lacing through his body. Blood trickled down his face falling into his eye. He gingerly reached up and touched the wound on his head. He grimanced in pain and emmited a low hiss of pain. He stood grabbed his sword and sheathed it. He transformed to his kitten form to his Liger adult form with his huge wings. He roared with anger and grabbed Lillian, the creatures grasp weakened from surprise probably. He took off with a flap of his wings. He swung Lillian onto his back . His flight was wobbly as his vision was about to fade though he refused to succumb to any weakness. He asked Lillian, 'Where are we going to?'

((NOTE: there watching from afar and will not interfere with there story so don't worry. i just want to read the story with the two watching,but if i am called to rp with you guys then i will. if i need to delete this then im fine with it ill reedit the post i did in the city.))

Seshiro landed softly at the base of the volcano, where the soil is black, still holding Takara for he needed her strength as much as she needed his. "We will bury him here and erect a shrine." Seshiro moved the earth from a small spot and found a large piece of obsidian. "What would we have named....hi...." Seshiro struggled to choke back his tears. He threw his head back and roared a deep and mighty roar that shook the mountain. At the end of his roar, his voice cracked and he fell to his knees, half-sobbing, half trying to hold everything inside. "I cannot....lose...my...family...again..."

Takara stood there with her hand upon Seshiro's shoulder, fighting back the tears but it was a losing battle for the tears had spilled over and was running down her face, "Sesh....i...ro please dont....say...that...I'm...not going to leave you." she softly said between each sob that escaped her lips. She knelt beside him and wrapped her arm around him as she looked down at the spot of where they would put their baby down to rest. "I cant....do this....along Seshiro....please." she didnt finish her sentence but sat there crying all over again.

Seshiro grabbed his wife and embraced her. "I know you will not leave me. I will not leave you either." Seshiro managed to regain his composure enough to keep himself from sobbing. "Takara, after the funeral, you must promise to stay with Parth...I know that you will not want to, but you must...for your safety and my own. When I go into this battle, I will be unleashing all of my power and cannot risk hurting you." Seshiro took one of his hands from around his wife and drew Ned'Shiad from it's resting place on his belt. "I want you to take this. This sword will protect you, if Parth is unable to." Seshiro stood up, bringing Takara up with him. "Our family will be stronger, for this. We have lost so much, but I promise that after this, we will regain everything we have lost and more." Seshiro kissed Takara, deeply, sweetly, and passionately. He then pulled away, "We will make the preparations for the funeral, we will not bury him today. There will be a proper ceremony and this obsidian stone will be the start of his shrine. Now, what shall we name him?" A tear rolled down his cheek as he smiled and looked at his baby boy, he felt pride and sorrow......and utmost rage.

Takara stood there somewhat shocked after hearing what her husband was telling her, looking at the sword in his hand she shook her head, "Seshiro, I cant take that from you. For the moment I do I know you will leave me to fight against the one that had took our son away from us..."pausing as she fought back the tears, "I cant lose you after losing our son, do you know what that would do to me? We just found each other again and right now I need you more than ever, so please promise me that you wont leave me here." she said looking up into his eyes and pleading with him but she knew by the way his eyes were looking that he had already made up his mind. So with her free hand she wrapped it around his neck once again and pulled him closer to her lips, and softly whispered, "Please just stay with me for a week after our son's funeral, then we can talk about what we both can do to get revenge upon him that did this to us....to our son HIROKI." then she kissed him deeply once again.

After the kiss, Seshiro smiles, "Hiroki...I had a baby brother who was named Hiroki. It is a good name." Seshiro placed his hand upon his wife's cheek. "A week may be too long. Whatever they are going to do, they're going to do it soon and they're going to use the phoenix spirit to do it. If one of them were to take the spirit into them, they could take over the village of the phoenix...oh no..." Seshiro's eyes grew dark as he realized what he just said. "Takara, we are not safe here. We need to go somewhere where they couldn't find us easily."

"What do you mean we arent safe here, Seshiro, this is our home, our land. Where else can we go and bury our son's body? Even if we bury him here wouldnt they use that against us and take his body out from the ground to just torment us more?" Takara could feel herself getting frustrated and something within herself was stirring as well. "Maybe we can return to my homeland or go to the desert for I seriously doubt that whomever is doing all this will go there."
