And on the first page these words appear: "My name is Question of the Week, Thread of Threads: Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!' Nothing beside remains.

IMHO, you simply must watch "Scream of the Shalka" (Doctor Who Flash-animated webcast) before you can honestly say you're a fair judge of which robot kicks the most a**. Well, okay, okay, maybe he doesn't quite get up there with Marvin, but he's a pretty awesome robot anyway. Probably shouldn't divulge his identity...

Oops... I answered potato before I saw the quiz... Ah well, I'm sure a potato could defeat a dragon any day of the week. Lullabee IMHO, you simply must watch "Scream of the Shalka" (Doctor Who Flash-animated webcast) before you can honestly say you're a fair judge of which robot kicks the most a**. Well, okay, okay, maybe he doesn't quite get up there with Marvin, but he's a pretty awesome robot anyway. Probably shouldn't divulge his identity... I assume you mean the robot with the goatee and the sarcastic yet witty remarks? Yes indeed, he does kick a**... I soooo wish they had put him in the TV series... EDIT: I took the test and apparently I am Chaotic Good.

Neutral Good. blaugh Except don't go thinking I'm such a great person. I've never been in any of those situations, so I can't be sure. And this quiz is posted in a Doctor Who guild! I'd feel bad saying I'd beat up a guard! The Doctor wouldn't, and... he's just a good influence like that. Not that I'd be likely to beat up a guard anyway. He's not such a good influence as far as "would you betray your country," though... And, yep, that robot! "A young woman... again?" Someone had to say it!

Not sure if Baldur's Gate II counts, but I was always Chaotic Good, because that kind of fit my decisions. Apparently there are punishments for, say, being good when you chose evil.

I just realized there are so many different types of cuisines out there, more than the 10 options you get for the poll. Anyway, just curious what y'all most like to eat, and why. Some additional choices that should probably be up there:
Cajun (andouille sausage, gumbo and jambalaya) German (umm... bratwurst?) Spanish (paella!) Vietnamese (not a big fan of pho, but love those bánh mì sandwiches)
Anyway, so many different things to eat in this world. Makes me hungry just thinking about it! domokun

I like BBQ ribs and buffalo wings. What is that considered... American?! confused
I'm kind of getting bored with Japanese. Lately I've been forcing myself to eat a couple pieces of uni (sea urchin roe*) whenever I pop into a sushi bar. And after having eaten it 5 or so times now... I still think it's gross. According to wikipedia: Traditionally considered an aphrodisiac, sea urchin roe has been found to contain the cannabinoid anandamide.
*although it's commonly referred to as 'roe', it's actually the sea urchin gonads. Yum. gonk

I like Mexican! Not the really crappy Mexican you get in cheap boring places, with all sorts of cheese and everything. Stuff with cilantro, and guacamole, and stuff like that. And horchata. Sushi's good too, and tempura. Good tempura shrimp is delicious. Or those tempura vegetables. Italian's great too. The only trouble with Italian food is that three days later you're hungry again. xd Indian food is good, too, even though bittermelon curry is about the evillest thing ever. (I had only about five dollars, I was going around Berkeley on my own, and the vegetarian stuff was the cheapest! What, bittermelon is actually bitter? You've got to be kidding!) And British cuisine's good too, even though it all seems designed to give you bulletproof arteries. Pasties, with beef and potatoes and onions and maybe cheese! And bubble-and-squeak! Chinese is pretty good. Bean-paste sesame seed dumplings! More bulletproof artery food, but I like to think I'm too young and skinny to really worry. And Chinese lemon chicken is delicious...
Awww, I'm hungry now...

Reading all that made me hungry too! domokun I love the heartiness of good Italian food. It actually wasn't too long ago that I used to eat spaghetti 5 times a week as a starving student. Basically because it was the only thing I knew how to make. The bad thing was that I didn't realize that when ground beef has a funky smell it's spoiled... I ate a lot of spaghetti with (rotten) meat sauce... gonk My brother once made me wait over an hour in the rain to eat dinner at some Italian place called Giacomo's when I visited him in Boston. I thought that was pretty silly, considering there were a bunch of other places to eat on that street where we could have just walked right in. Food was pretty good though.

I think every student has to live on a diet of pizza & pasta for at least a while...
Although while I was in Spain and couldn't be bothered to cook, I'd be known to have toast & marmalade for dinner. Not that I've done that in the last month or anything... redface
Italian is great once you learn to embrace garlic. I like Mexican, although not *too* hot please smile My Chinese extends about as far as sweet & sour chicken and lemon chicken. My Japanese is non-existent - sushi is not for me, since I object to fish and raw stuff. I am weak, so Indian food has to be mild - korma or something. I love Bombay potatoes though.
But nothing beats a good old roast dinner with Yorkshire puddings & gravy and cabbage and turnip and mashed potato and carrots...
Too bad I'm incapable of making that. Today's meal was amazing though - amazing that I bothered to cook rather than sticking a frozen pie in the oven and boiling some potatoes. I actually took pieces of chicken, fried them, added tinned tomatoes, gravy powder, Worcestershire sauce & herbs and served with pasta. Surprisingly nice for a scratch meal, especially since it was *me* cooking.
At least I've weaned myself off microwave meals...
