Erol decides whatever it would be, it would be more noisy than a theif or raccoon, therefore he could work while his interest was piqued. A sly grin crossed Erol's face as he hoped for a show, especially if it involved those creatures or anything of that fantastic subtype. His eyes wandered using his keen darkvision to pick through the darkness to see what he could find from herbs, foods, and shelter. He picked through the forest mentally and soon physically in his search, looking like a squirrel searching for nuts. ((survival +10))

Erol recalls his training as though it had only been a year or few months since he last left the cove of his teachers. His mind was opened to the signs nature has about the bounty in its possession. His wild, sly smile only widens with anticipation as he lopes through the forest at an awkward gait.

In his time waiting, Topaz has gathered a few fruits and berries to eat, amassed a small amount of wood, and collected a specific herb. He begins to devour more fruit as he works on a quick shelter to provide cover from dew and rain in the morning. He works with green twigs as rope, lashing the structure together.

Topaz enjoyed the rain as much as only a druid ever could. He believed in this fellow who told people to "Live delibrately." He knew he only had one life to live and wanted to enjoy it free of the concerns of other people and civilization. He did not reject them, he just liked to avoid them when at all possible.
"Ebon, your feathers will need more preening if you stay out there doing that."
Midway through the scentance, the large black hawk flapped down into the structure. It did not seem to be awknowleging his command, but rather a good idea. It may have been enjoying the suggestion. Erol sits in the middle of his rough shelter and props himself up to enjoy the calming rain and the action of the future. He studdies the area of the town as closely as he can.

He looks out into the rain, using his darkvision clearly, but has most of his vision obscured by the rain.

Ricril looks up from where he has been tuning and maintaining his yarting. "Why you seem like you are having lots of fun there. The Paladin, you ask? I have not noticed him in a while, he probably retreated to his room to rest up for our journey tomorrow, as I am soon to do as well."

As the party draws to a close you all notice the patter of rain outside and with the rain you hear a horrible shriek! and the sudden sound of clashing steel and rending flesh.
