Kingdom Hearts all the way! I LOVE that game! Great graphics, plot, and it played to both my top interests since I love FF and come from a Disney obsessed household. ^^ I fell in love with the new action commands when you press triangle. It makes the Boss battles so much more entertaining. 3nodding

Xenogears. It has to have one of THE BEST storylines EVER! The only drawback was the 2nd disc sad That was a dissapointment...
After Xenogears...hmmm...Oh! Disgaea! I freaking love that game! It's so cool and you can spend endless hours just levelling up! I LUV IT!

FF9 being an awesome game = seconded. I'm not very far through the game (its my bf's game and I dont have a ps1 or 2) but I love it. Steiner and Vivi kick a**.
Zelda is damned good but I wouldnt really classify it fully under rpg. Its more of an action-rpg. Or something.
But my favourite is Legend of Dragoon.

All,I would buy all if I could but I only have money for other games that I like that are coming out the games now of days are high priced for me,So I don't get the older games that I can't buy and get the newer I would buy alot of final fantasy,because I didn't know before when I was younger that the FF was so popular and stuff and kindom hearts and other's,so I look toward the newer like the new Zelda that's coming out and I love Harvest Moon series 3nodding mrgreen

Shim Megami Tensei: Nocturne! I was so happy when it won best RPG of the year on X-play! The game doesn't get enough credit! If you haven't heard of it, please look it up! It is on any RPG fan's "must play" list!

yeah legend of mana was good idk wut my fav is cause I've played too many lol I'll go with Zelda I love all Zelda games expecially Majora's Mask but my brother lost it before I could beat it I was on the last giant

Wow...umm, well let's see here. A lot of these games come in a tie for first and second, so let's just disregard the numbering system here.
1. Suikoden III -
I played through this game at least seven times. The plot was great, though it could have used a little more gameplay variety. For some reason, I never got tired of the characters....
2. Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne -
I played this game for a loooong time. Meaning, I leveled up my character several levels past 99 (it doesn't show anything beyond that even though your stats increase) and didn't get tired of the game. I also enjoyed creating demons. That was totally kick butt.
3. Star Ocean 'til the End of Time -
Love the gameplay and all the inventing and sidequests, though the characters could have been developed a bit more. Let's just say that this game sucked up a significant proportion of my time.
4. Final Fantasy 9 -
Not a lot of people seem to like this installment, but I do. There's just something about it that I continue to love. Unfortunately, one of my ex-friends stole my first disc so I can't play it anymore...
5. Kingdom Hearts -
Fun stuff, need I say more?
6. Xenosaga -
I never got the chance to play Xenogears, but I can't remember how many times I have played through both the first and second installments in this series. Can't wait for the third one.
7. Digital Devil Saga -
Awesome game setting and interesting characters. The second one was great too until the ending became way too stereotypical for me. Otherwise, great game.

I really liked the final fantasy series. Right now I'm playing KH2 and that is awesome. But I also like Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The graphics on the 360 are stellar.

Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. Amazing battle system. I love it. Super fun game, it's long, interesting, and they have Pepita. 4laugh
Kingdom Hearts 2 and Kingdom Hearts. JUST AMAZING. eek
Jak and Daxter. First game I ever played for PS2. I fell in love, and still play it. But I hate the other Jak games. mad
And of course, Legend of Zelda, Ocorina of Time. Classic. 3nodding

I can't remember if I posted here before...
But yeah, I just completed Tales of Symphonia. Awesome game. Gotta be one of my new favourites RPG's next BG2 and Kotor.
Has anyone got any good recommendations for RPG's for me?
I always struggle to find any amazing ones.
